Totaly, only a few tracks from the past and present, can be worthy of being the last race of the year. For me it is a tie between this, and Adelaide F1GP Street Circuit.
Actually it is from the 90's. But some parts of the track are from the original one (70's). A few years ago Raikkonen drove for a little bit in the old track (he was in lotus and miss a curve and probably think it was a shortcut)
You can take this session flat out. There is even a left-right chicane on the middle of this section to lower the speed in national touring car racing. You can see it in 2:02, to the side of "bridge" with a ad.
"Twentyfifteen" Ahh "Twothousandfifteen" I wish i it was "Toothousandandfive" Good old times and V10 powaaah. I dont think they are gonna get in 1:09 times. Only in 2004. :P Still one of the classic circuits. Lets hope Kimi wont get lost in Turn 12. :P
1. - The combined power output of a 2016 hybrid PU now exceeds that of the V10s from 2004-2005, ESPECIALLY at high altitudes where NA engines normally lose a lot of oomph. 2. - They would have easily broke into the 09s last year had they kept the old kerb designs. 3. - 2017 cars are projected to be at least 5 seconds faster than cars from 2004 & today in terms of single-lap pace. Don't get me wrong, I get all those arguments for the "good ol' days", but honestly, it's time to take off the purple-tinted glasses and stop pretending that the 2004-2005 seasons represented the absoulute pinnacle of motor racing in every way possible.
For sure the most efficent/power ratio, no doubt. It's insane how it can be done with a 1.6 litre engine. In the mid 80s, some 1.6L turbos had over 1400 bhp in qualifying trim, but they couldn't use that kind of power for long, and were tuned down to 800-900 hp for the races. Those were the most powerful engine used in F1, but yeah nowhere near as efficent as the current engines for ex.
Interlagos has a unique feature: the main straight part is uphill, a higher ground, which means that you can see virtually all the track there. Works kinda an Oval Speedway facility in USA, where you can see all the track from the grandstands. Also, that higher part of the circuit is where all the entrance gates are.
A iniciativa privada serviria apenas pra tirar a Fórmula 1 do circuito. Quando a FIA exigir reformas e a empresa tiver capenga, vão falir o circuito. Deixa como está que de ótimo tamanho.
You can't beat the old school tracks like Interlagos.
I'm Brazilian and actually I can.
Interlagos is easily one of my top 3 favorite circuits, along side Spa and Monza.
Me too, the holy trinity of circuits
What a beautiful city Sao Paulo.
Thank you! :-)
What a magnificent circuit.
Old school, classic. Pure beauty!
The last shot at 2:18 is surreal and almost makes it feel like it's in a video game or something.,
Senna the greatest, wont be forgotten
i miss Brazil being the last race of the season, i feel like Abu Dhabi doesn't really deserve it
Totaly, only a few tracks from the past and present, can be worthy of being the last race of the year. For me it is a tie between this, and Adelaide F1GP Street Circuit.
Jonny Khan um... abu dhabi deserved it because it's night race
None of the middle eastern tracks deserve to be on the calendar at all. arabic or turkish.
@@ducedevlstear2471 Why not Istanbul?

One of my favorites!! And im not Brazilian btw
Un circuito de la vieja escuela y momentos historicos :)
surely Tilke didnt designe this work of art
He didn't, this baby's old school from the 70's.

@@ericmarques5646 the original track was used in Formula 1 in the 70s, but its design is from the end of the 30s!
The most amazing F1 track
Turn 7: Ferradura
Turn 8: Laranjinha
Turn 9: Pinheirinho
Turn 11: Mergulho
Turn 12: Junção
I love taking the Senna S at 107 kilometres an ahhh
It would be nice if this channel would list the artists of the background music on all of their videos.
346 kilometres an ahhhhhhhh
why do that say that? It sounds ridiculously.
Alan Amieur he was saying 346km an hour
Alan Amieur lol

The best track of the world! I love Interlagos, my favourite GP in the season! #BRAZILGP
Beatiful classic track
José carlos "moco" pace, a legendary driver that would surely win some F1 titles had he not tragically died in a plane crash in 77 :(
Senna forever!!! BRAZIL
can someone pls name the song in the background ?
Only someone like Sena can race here with a car stuck in 6th gear, and still win.
beautiful track!
saw the 2007 Brasil GP there ..choppered in to the circuit, dedicated concession stand..cost a fortune but worth every penny!
340 km an ah
what I always hear too lol
Do this for every track
0:02 - It's "José Carlos Pace", not "Hosé"! XD
Great video, though! =D
But that's how you pronounce José
@@Jtngetabettername Pronouncing J in Portuguese is more like in English than in Spanish, try to pronounce it just like you speak... 'Josh'!?

@Lucas Mota @Antonio Manoel Huh...
Very nice track!
after exiting turn 12 until Senna S it's like you don't need your brakes... just weaken the throttles is enough if you want to lower the speed...

Mercedes won't give specs, but they believe their current engine is the most powerful ever raced in F1.
Not bad for a 1.6 litre V6.
For sure the most efficent/power ratio, no doubt. It's insane how it can be done with a 1.6 litre engine.

Or reliable. 5 engines for the whole season
If rain doesn´t appear on Saturday, a 1:09 is almos guaranteed. And next year, A 1:06-1:07 is more than possible around Interlagos
The T14 is “curva do café” , in English “Café corner”
