Sample similarity swap is a new feature in Ableton Live 12. I love using it to swap through samples in a drum rack. You can come up with so many different drum kit variations and even song ideas!

Very helpful video thnx! When you randomly swap out similar sounds for the whole rack do the sounds come from the same folder? Can you direct the swapping process to a particular folder?

Thanks! It swaps through sounds from your entire library. I too would like an option to specify a particular folder. However currently that is not possible.
