This actually only helps us collectors increase the value of our cards. The higher the 52’ mantle sells.. or another rare card sells USUALLY increases the value of most of there cards behind it. People need to stop w the complaining

Thanks to this guy, my 2011 Trouts TRIPLED since then. Sure, The best I have is a Target red, BUT I paid NOTHING for my Trouts. I received a 45,000+ 2003-2015 card collection from a cleanout. I nearly crapped my pants when I saw the Target red.

I dont understand what's funny about that statement.... If you have a 1 of 1, a 1 of 5(where 3 of the other 5 cards whereabouts are unknown), and however many oranges he had.... that kind of is controlling the Trout market. I don't collect cards, but I do know that the largest diamond companies in the world hoard diamonds to drive the value up(i.e. control the supply which drives up the value). Obviously the Trouts he had are the most valuable of all the trout cards out there. I'm sure there are shitloads of less rare trouts floating around out there. But those don't fetch the value that the ranked cards do. So.... He essentially does control the market. . . I apologize if you were supporting him and laughing with him at all the misinformed haters.

I think that will make his cards more valuable. Players that are loyal to a single team are seen as more valuable. Usually when a player moves to a different team, they tend to decline. Think Griffey Jr, Frank Thomas, Albert Pujols, etc. If Trout stays with Angeles his whole career, his cards will be super valuable to Angeles fans, because he will be the best player Angels will ever have.

They blow the card prices up so high they want stay that high they will lose value.
Most cards 2003-2013 are a bit "scarce". The market was all but dead during that era. Smaller prints, numbered cards and future hall of famers made for a great investment. But almost noone collected them. This also goes for 2008-2015 BEANIE BABIES/BOOS. Many are worth a LOT.

I have watched this video over 200+ times i got a jonny bench rookie graded 10 at a flew market about 6 years ago and it was not graded but it look veey good so i got it graded it went from $100 to 2,000 thanks dave
Technically the only difference is the stock card and stamp. Unless a collector really wants an orange, which he’s charging an arm and a leg for, just buy the regular. Both will appreciate but at least you won’t feel like getting played.

Hmmm... You might seem like a good businessman. But I wouldn't go around throwing out the name Derek Carr as someone to invest in. Not that I don't think the guy has any potential. But what you are doing is sparking interest in someone, which could potentially raise the current value of his stuff. Not a good idea to do if you're trying to invest in that player. If anything, you want to buy as low as possible in order to maximize net profit once said player becomes a hot commodity (if ever). So spreading the word on that player's name RIGHT NOW could hurt.
Or maybe he's already invested and trying to push up the value so he can dump

This guy is smart As good as Trout is, he is hyped so much he is already at Mantle’s status. Trout is a living legend and he isn’t even 30. If he stays this good for at least a few more years, he will be a top 3 baseball name in the history of the sport in regards to worth within the hobby. The more this guy holds onto his stuff, the higher it drives the prices up of what he owns. Look at the black swamp find for a reference into controlling the market on a single collection.
