Hi Erik! A very tough decision but I think I would have made the same one. The possibility of having a rare card/auto would have driven me nuts. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah, you can get a better pull out of some of the Rip it or Keep it cards, like John says, r/baseballcards, some people have had luck, I think I would struggle with ripping a numbered card already!!!
Wow wow wow wow !!!!! Aloha !!!! All is well. I worries !!! You started with one big Cal!!! It's all good Now you have 4 cards!!!! Enjoy !!! Ps. It's not just about the money!! It's all about the experience and creating great memories !!! Great Rip!!!! Great Rip !!!!
If you stick a flaslight on the back of the card you can see what kind of cards you are getting.May not br able to see the exact player but at least the parrallel.Tough one man 😊
By being able to do this will make the value of nearly all of them drop. Making things like this searchable devalues all of the cards, and to suggest such things is scummy
Almost every video I've watched for these (particularly 2019) looks like these things are money sinks. Bunch of standard SSPs and some stained glass cards with the promises of higher stuff. A&G is a step above Fairfield, it seems, with their "You can get this!" strategy.
Great video!! I was a nervous as you was opening that card. I would have opened it too. It’s just baseball cards. Have fun with them. Thanks for sharing!! God Bless!!
This wasn’t even my card and I was stressed out as you were ripping it. Sorry you didn’t pull any autos Erik, but that’s still a nice stain glass Kershaw. Safe travels to the National!
Just to let you know the ripped rip cards are of value lol they aren't crap. We all follow eBay and what not but as long as there is a price system (Beckett) then it's got a value.
Not an awful choice at all. Obviously the wrong choice, but only in hindsight. Sometimes in life, you just have to rip it, even if you lose.
That's the same way i feel about farts😂😂😂
bret hart awesome response from The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

i realize I'm pretty randomly asking but does anybody know a good place to watch newly released series online?
Allen and Ginter cards are badass. You'll see in 20 years
The Kershaw card sold for $79 in case anyone is interested.
Chris W. Thx for the spoil
@@jblillemoen8456 Not sure how this is a spoil since the card is revealed in the video, unless you are reading comments beforehand.
JB Lillemoen that’s kinda your fault
This is why I no longer buy packs. I just buy the cards I want. Safe travels to the national card show Erik.
I hear you but opening the occassional pack is still fun though.
droogie76 , you’re absolutely right. I’ll buy the occasional pack, I just don’t buy boxes anymore.
@@moose2687 I only buy about 3 boxes a year now. Got to be selective. This stuff is expensive.
droogie76, that it is.
The John Wathan stained glass sells for $225.
These RIP cards are batting below the Mendoza line
I could never ever rip that. I'd hold on to it for 50 years. Sheesh
Erik, there's a reason you have the best baseball channel on RUclips! The passion you have for Hobby is almost unparalleled! Many thanks!
Win some, ya lose some! Love that Frank Thomas card.
Hi Erik! A very tough decision but I think I would have made the same one. The possibility of having a rare card/auto would have driven me nuts. Thanks for sharing!
This is madness !!! Has anyone ever got anything good from these rip cards
Nope! lol
I’ve seen an Altuve auto pulled from one!
Yeah, you can get a better pull out of some of the Rip it or Keep it cards, like John says, r/baseballcards, some people have had luck, I think I would struggle with ripping a numbered card already!!!
It was worth it....the cards are all nice. And the video was GREAT....
OOOOH THE SUSPENSE! I WOULD HAVE RIPPED THE RIPKEN AND FRAMED IT. THEN SOLD THE KERSHAW, THOMAS and BRETT! Great video Erik!
I like the way you opened up the Cal Ripken card. What's life without risk.
You can actually tell what the cards are without ripping it by using a flashlight against the card in the dark!
Wow wow wow wow !!!!!
Aloha !!!!
All is well. I worries !!!
You started with one big Cal!!!
It's all good
Now you have
4 cards!!!!
Enjoy !!!
Ps. It's not just about the money!! It's all about the experience and creating great memories !!!
Great Rip!!!!
Great Rip !!!!
No auto but very nice pulls! You could have gotten Cedric Mullins, Matt Shoemaker, and Joey Gallo like I did. Have a great night Eric
Aah....I cant believe your ripped Rip. Tough luck....enjoyed the video though.
Look on the bright side...by ripping that one open you just increased the value of the ones that are still pristine. =)
Nothing better than a rip card. Gotta be fun to have a 3 in 1
Where do these triple rip cards come from? Just regular hobby boxes?.
Why do you have a Lenny Dykstra card readily available?
A John Wathan mini would've been hilarious !
Fun little bonus to the product
where do you find there jumbo rip cards?
Hey Erik I will trade you for that Big Hurt mini. Look forward to seeing you at the National.
Worth a shot! Thanks for ripping and sharing.
Love these rip cards.
Love them to
That's all I been collecting..
That Lenny Dykstra SportsFlix card took me way back...
Thanks Erik!!!!! We really enjoy these!!!
Almost every video I've watched for these (particularly 2019) looks like these things are money sinks. Bunch of standard SSPs and some stained glass cards with the promises of higher stuff.
A&G is a step above Fairfield, it seems, with their "You can get this!" strategy.
These rip cards are pretty cool. I hope they keep them for future series.
Thanks for Ripping It.
This was just insane, that's how they get you on this stuff, great video, its all about the luck when it comes to the rip it or keep it card.....
Do you still have the mini cards? I would truly enjoy them. Thanks 🙏
Fun to watch you open that, thanks for sharing!
eBay asking prices are a poor yardstick; glad you went to actual sales. I really dislike the RIP cards, a very low yield gamble overall.
The rip made the video much more interesting. May have lost some money but you definitely gained a subscriber.
Bye bye $225....but it was fun aye.
The stain glass looks super cool tho.
Another good video...glad it was your decision to rip and not mine...oh the pressure
I am glad you ripped it. It is what you do, bust packs. Awesome fun as always.
Scared money dont make money. You made the right call here Jabs. PMA
Thanks for dipping and ripping and saving me a ton of money, Erik.
I would have been okay with that. Kersh is my fav. Love him.
I’m a Cal Ripken enthusiast if you haven’t sold it yet. Awesome video just started watching them!
Just sold a Rosario mini stained glass for $20. Those are really nice to look at.
Out of all the boxloader rips I've seen, not one has had minis worth as much as the sealed boxloader.
Getting $150-$170 back from ripping it is on par with how much value someone gets out of opening most retail boxes now a days.
I started collecting this rip cards..hopefully they will hold their value and be worth something in 20 + years
Very nice video. Don't know if I would've ripped but glad to see what was inside. Erik "Gambler" Jabs!
Use a bright flashlight in a dark room and you can see who's in them before you open them.
Watching your vids makes me want to get back into collecting
Fun video. Bummer on not getting any autos. Have fun at the National.
$50 for the Brett? Where did you get that price at?
Wow. These cards are just crazy.
Enjoy national. Looking forward to the videos from there/the recaps
No pain no gain. Loved it.
Went down swinging on a full count but I say you still have to swing!!
Great video!! I was a nervous as you was opening that card. I would have opened it too. It’s just baseball cards. Have fun with them.
Thanks for sharing!! God Bless!!
I'll buy the ripken, I PC him specifically. I dont care that its ripped, displayed it looks perfect and still has the numbering on it
I love Allen&Ginter!
LOL! Rub a little bit and you can see the number.
Hahah amazing
It was worth the risk. Very rare opportunity - I would have opened it too!
The sacrifices you make for your You Tube fans - lol. Great video Erik
I've got a Ronald Acuna box loader rookie, I wonder if it's worth anything
I got his box loader out of 2018 Topps Gallery
I would take a ripped Ripken any day!!!
Isn't there a website where you can look up what cards have already been found in rips and figure out if it is even worth ripping any other cards?
Things happen, but overall was fun to watch you rip the card. Honestly, I woulda ripped it too. But good job on saving the front!
Nice Kershaw!
From all the openings I have seen around the interwebs, the choice has been unanimous ..... DON'T RIP IT!!
This wasn’t even my card and I was stressed out as you were ripping it. Sorry you didn’t pull any autos Erik, but that’s still a nice stain glass Kershaw. Safe travels to the National!
This was fun to watch, please rip more of these on camera for us!
Always rip! The stained glass cards are nice too :)
More like Cal RIPkin
It's exciting to watch these cards get ripped when they aren't yours. Thanks Erik. Sorry it didn't work out but it made for a great video.
tip : high numbered rip cards will never have anything good most of the time. they have to be numbered 10 or less for the autos mot of the time
I would have kept the numbered Cal Ripken. But it is SOOOOOOO Tempting I know.
Wow Erik that was crazy and fun. I probably would have sold the card with my luck. Lol
Thanks for doing these videos and keeping us into the hobby!
I’m 12 and I got a lot of really good cards
That’s a nice looking kershaw card
Not a bad choice Erik...sometimes the temptation out weighs the value, I would have done the same hoping for that fire hit.
Those are pretty awesome rip cards! ❤️🇺🇸
Awesome video Erik
womp womp womp I was hoping for something like a printing plate or something lol but that kershaw is still cool I would keep it
If I pulled one of these I wouldn't be able to resist ripping it!
The one rip card I ever pulled had a mini wood 1/1 in it of.. someone on the Astros that I can't remember right now. So, cool, but not really cool.
Yeah, guess not that cool if you can't remember him.
AHH, 97-98 ZENITH HOCKEY LOVED THESE. But only got one card. A Gretzky Z Gold /100 goes for over 1,000.
Oh the choices.... I do like those stained glass cards though! If it was the Griffey Jr I couldn’t rip it....
That is a tough choice! After seeing many of this rip cards ripped, they are a RIP!
Those were sick cards
Can’t win if you don’t rip! Great vids.
I'm a big gambler but there's no chance I'd be able to take that gamble. I do really like that you did it for the video though!
There's a reason there called RIP cards, thank you for the vid
Last call that was ripped had a stained glass Nolan Ryan it was so amazing I thought I saw god
Easy E. 10. ⚾ baseballs. That are meaningles in the trashcan. How much would you sell for i want for ttm...thanks
Love Allen and ginter
That Kershaw is really nice
Just to let you know the ripped rip cards are of value lol they aren't crap. We all follow eBay and what not but as long as there is a price system (Beckett) then it's got a value.
I’m also your biggest fan
very cool! good job
