Mike is truly a great guy. He brought a group of young fans on field before a game at Tmobile Park, signed all their cards and memorabilia and even let one kid swing his bat. My daughter was one of those lucky kids. We have a memory to share forever thanks to Mike.
As cool and humble as he is for a all time great I’m almost surprised he collects himself but hearing it’s his way of keeping up with his career was awesome
His advice to players regarding collecting their own cards reminded me of when I read in the SD Tribune Fernando Valenzuela wished he had at the end of his career, I got ahold of the Padres, told them had been collecting his cards and had over 300 I wouldn't mind giving him ... ez enough to find again for me ... They invited me to a game, 4 nice seats ... b4 meeting him, giving him the cards, we got to sit behind homeplate during warmups ... Fun Day for sure !!
It’s so cool that he gets excited about pulling his own autos. He can basically print money himself just by signing anything he wants, but he still enjoys the thrill of pulling a rare card just like everyone else.
I would absolutely LOVE TO OWN a Mike Trout rookie card from the "Trout family collection" I lost my whole sports card collection a few months ago from an accidental fire amongst other priceless things such as my family pictures and just family items that can never be replaced and in this case, can never get back. Anyways awesome to see his collection
Damn, Mike is really a true card collector. Collecting what he loves, not just what's the most valuable. I was expecting to come into this video seeing a bunch of Trout 1/1s or something along those lines, it's cool to see common cards that just have special memories for him.
@@jimmy2thymes916 You don’t need to be a lifelong collector to be an impactful and positive force in the hobby. The reason I think he could be a ‘great hobby ambassador’ is because of his high profile celebrity status in the game. If Mike Trout is vocal about collecting, it could inspire others.
Awesome video huge Mike Trout fan love that he collects and is sharing some of his collection for us to see that's why I love baseball and this wonderful hobby what a great guy
I love his perspective. There was a movie called Throw Mama from the Train and it had Danny Devito in it. His character had a coin collection, but all the coins had emotional significance instead of dollar value.
This was such a cool video, a Mike Trout PSA reveal from the Trout Family Collection, with Mike Trout himself, incredible and frankly epic, very special and kind of him to get intimate with PSA on his passion for collecting, awesome! Those cards and stories attached are so cool, like imagine owning a card from the Trout Family Collection.. if there was ever a grail, that'd be it.. awesome!! His story of pulling his own auto for the first time is one of the best and inspiring stories of collecting and making the Bigs all wrapped into one.. I do own a 2018 Tribute Mike Trout auto /25 I personally pulled, it was the chase card since 2012 for me year in year out, and to finally pull that card was very special, still remember it, jumping around and fist pumping the air like I just hit a walk off home run in a World Series baseball game.. See this video, and hearing his passion for collecting ,and respect for the hobby, makes this autograph card of his I own so much more special and cool, had no idea that was possible.. I'm blessed.. Thank you Mike Trout and PSA for putting this video together..
Mike Trout seems like a great down to earth guy. Obviously a fantastic player as well. It's really cool he's from South Jersey close to where I grew up.! That Nike card and the dual auto are sweet! Keep collecting!
Hell yeah! I’m a lifelong Angels fan! Go Red. I hope and pray that Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani can make a run with the Angels next year!! And I do have many of the r/c!
This was such a cool video! Mike Trout just moved up a few notches in my book!! I like how he said all up and coming players should collect their card! That's exactly what I would do! This video just hade all types of feel good vibes to it!
Look at all the time he missed this year and yet, he still hammered 40 homeruns! If he was healthy for the whole season, it would be Shohei, Trout and Judge for the American League MVP. And I wouldn't be surprised if Mike Trout won again. Just for the record, I collect Mike Trout cards, too. He showed us his cards but I bet you he also collects Michael Jordan, Mickey Mantle, Wayne Gretzky, LeBron James, Roger Maris, Ken Griffey Jr, Larry Bird, Mario Lemieux, Bobby Orr, etc.
That's sofa king cool Mike Trout is collecting cards now.. How awesome is the Nike swoosh card with "just do it"inscription..😲 I'm betting that kid made out pretty good on this trade..😝🤓 👍💕🔥⚾🤙
When I was a kid with dreams of one day being a Major League baseball player, I swore to myself that if I made it I would collect my cards. Geez, that was 30 years ago. Of course, I didn't make it, but he's right, time flies by.
Not that he will read this but Thanks Mike. Selling your Ermsy cards helped me pay for my tuition. Also sold your rookie cards a long time ago when I was struggling for cash. I hope you and Ohtani have a healthy good year in 2023
wow, this is cool. he can inscribe whatever he wants. damn. never even dawned on me. that's sick the kid helped him out with the 1 of 1. hopefully he was well taken care of.
I don’t know how I feel about the 1/1 at the end. Like, it’s cool that the man in the card and that signed the card has it in his collection, but from a collector’s standpoint, I’d want like a huge Trout fan to have it.
If I were MT, I would go after his 1/1 superfractor auto. It's not like he can't afford it, but the seller would likely gouge him if he knew. The crown jewel of my collection is a PSA 10 McDavid future watch auto. Not worth nearly what some of these are, but I love having it.
Seeing Mike Trout talking about his career is kinda sad. 😭 You can hear his voice sounds sad if not regretful. I really hope the Angels would do better in 2023, for Mike Trout, Ohtani and for baseball.
So cool. How could Trout not be the face of Baseball. Just a down to earth fan like all of us. See him at Eagles games as a fan just makes him humbling to enjoy
Can I have the base rookie you signed? 🤣🤣 Worth a shot... In all seriousness, he seems humble and like a great guy. Sucks what he's going through but he's still the GOAT.
When you realize you might have to outbid Mike Trout for a Mike Trout card :(.
Lol
I was JUST thinking that!!!
LMAO
I wouldn’t feel sorry for him. He could buy the whole damn market if he wanted to.
Or you when you go to send out a Trout rookie and the Ship To name is Mike trout
“This is the first trout auto I’ve pulled, of myself” probably the coolest sentence ever
PSA should do more of these. This was cool .
Mike is truly a great guy.

Man that's actually amazing dude that's my dream
(Hes my fav player)
As cool and humble as he is for a all time great I’m almost surprised he collects himself but hearing it’s his way of keeping up with his career was awesome
Mike Trout is one of the many reasons why we are so lucky to live in a world where baseball exists.
And I’ll take things that didn’t happen for 500
It’s so cool that he gets excited about pulling his own autos. He can basically print money himself just by signing anything he wants, but he still enjoys the thrill of pulling a rare card just like everyone else.
I collect you, as well. LOVE you, Mike! ❤️⚾️
Love the Shohei dual auto patch card. 😎👍
Gotta get this man in the playoffs

Hall of fame needs a mike trout room someday

Damm this is so cool , he has very nice collection of his own cards.
Pretty neat to hear about a star player collecting cards of themselves. Scenarios like this don't seem to be publicized enough for the hobby.
Mike Trout is THE MAN!
What an amazing hobby ambassador. I really hope we see more and more players get into cards and become vocal about it!
No disrespect but Mike literally said he just started "collecting" in April (2022). Far from a hobby ambassador.

I like his idea of inscribing on his cards. I have a few of the cheap topps Jeter rookies and I have one in a soft sleeve with a stash drawn on lol
Awesome video huge Mike Trout fan love that he collects and is sharing some of his collection for us to see that's why I love baseball and this wonderful hobby what a great guy
This was so cool, idk why I never thought players wouldn’t collect and pull their own cards. I love it!
LeBron has a few of his omega valuable RCs as well.
That’s so cool Mike Trout collects baseball cards.
I love his perspective. There was a movie called Throw Mama from the Train and it had Danny Devito in it. His character had a coin collection, but all the coins had emotional significance instead of dollar value.
Class Act!! Mike Trout is the “Man” One of the greatest of baseball ever!
Facts. Sports cards are modern day Art. Collectible assets 📈.
Let's gooo Mike! Imagine a unique inscription from Trout 👀
The chase is in your heart. I've collected since the age of 6. I'm 52 now and still chasing that card.
He has a psa 9 of his topps rookie, I love it! he is so down to earth, Love it!

That 2011 inscription would be priceless woah 😍
Dimitri Young former player was one of the greatest collectors of all time.

So cool he has gotten into collecting, and those slabs with the Trout family collection on them....wow very cool
Keep it goin, mike! Great collection so far
One of my favorite players ever
This was such a cool video! Mike Trout just moved up a few notches in my book!! I like how he said all up and coming players should collect their card! That's exactly what I would do! This video just hade all types of feel good vibes to it!
Great Collection! the Diamond Trout RC #1 for me but that Nike Logo card is fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Such an amazing and inspirational video. So humble. To hear the way he speaks of his teammates. Absolutely phenomenal. Hats off to you Mr. Trout.
I got a Mike Trout 2020 Lumber card. Priceless.
Look at all the time he missed this year and yet, he still hammered 40 homeruns! If he was healthy for the whole season, it would be Shohei, Trout and Judge for the American League MVP. love seeing athletes get into the hobby
And those cards just became even more collectible.
That's sofa king cool Mike Trout is collecting cards now.. How awesome is the Nike swoosh card with "just do it"inscription..😲 I'm betting that kid made out pretty good on this trade..😝🤓 👍💕🔥⚾🤙
Wow. What an awesome video!! Gotta love Mike Trout.
Really cool to hear some of the stories of why he values each card. Great video

When he said, “finally get it back”……I felt that 😅 @2:53
He's Right about Life being Fast.. Nice collection of time
Totally awesome share.
Not that he will read this but Thanks Mike. Selling your Ermsy cards helped me pay for my tuition. Also sold your rookie cards a long time ago when I was struggling for cash. I hope you and Ohtani have a healthy good year in 2023
Now I want a PSA 10 with “Trout Family Collection” on the label.
Pretty cool PSA.
Got his Topps Holiday SSSP PSA 10 pop 2 waiting on him 😎

Awesome.
That's super cool that they are marked "Trout Family Collection". That makes these epic cards even MORE next level love it
wow, this is cool. he can inscribe whatever he wants. damn. never even dawned on me.
that's sick the kid helped him out with the 1 of 1. hopefully he was well taken care of.
Mike Trout only having a PSA 9 rookie of himself is great and if they ever make a Mike Trout movie, Aaron Paul has to play Trout.
Trout needs a guest spot on Phil's Pulls one episode breaking 2011 Topps Update
awesome!! come back to philly mike! you belong in a phillies uniform, my topps finest rookie my favorite trout card!!
It sucks that Trout never gets to play in the playoffs. MLB needs him there.
Best MLB player of our generation and the GOAT collects too?!?!?!!? Awesome!
This is a great video. Unfortunately, only Mike Trout himself can afford his cards.
It's actually nice to see that Mike Trout's own rookie card - of himself - is only a PSA 9 and not a 10.
A PSA 9 is still a pretty good grade
@@ACD1994 Absolutely. I have it in a PSA 9.
Wow!!! So cool!!
Awesome 😎

mike trout you rule

That Nike card is amazing.
He's a Businessman. Printing Millions. I would have so much signed, slabbed, Jerseys, gloves etc EXCLUSIVE rare. $$$$
I pull myself from time to time when my wife is at work.
awesome
Awesome I have a 1 of 10 topps relic auto 2022 series 1 piece of his bat BOOYAH
Seeing Mike Trout talking about his career is kinda sad. 😭
You can hear his voice sounds sad if not regretful.
I really hope the Angels would do better in 2023, for Mike Trout, Ohtani and for baseball.
Bro can make his own 1 of 1 RC with all the different inscriptions he can add 😂
So cool. How could Trout not be the face of Baseball. Just a down to earth fan like all of us. See him at Eagles games as a fan just makes him humbling to enjoy
so cool
Dude can collect his own cards sign them and make doe!!! Nice !!!
Just picked up a 2019 Triple Threads Trout Triple Chunky Patches from his 2018 Allstar Game PSA 9 🤓🤓🤓
I can’t wait to get my MC 1/1 From you!
That's what the the hobby is all about getting the cards you love and that mean something to you. Pulling a 1/1 isn't bad also lol
Topps 2011 update Mike Trout and it is only a 9. You would think that PSA would hook him up with a 10.
Trout is pumping his own cards 😅
Can I have the base rookie you signed? 🤣🤣 Worth a shot...
In all seriousness, he seems humble and like a great guy. Sucks what he's going through but he's still the GOAT.
That superfractor he held up is worth almost 4 million LOL
That’s not a superfractor.
When healthy, no one better
Pulled his own auto card!!!😮
No doubt Mike Trout!
RIP to all those Mike Trout PC collectors.
Mike trout needs more respect
Would love to see mike trout on VeVe Digital Collectibles
MLB needs to do giveaways at the stadium for 1 lucky fan each game. Signed card of a player on the team! Info and sign up would be all electronic.
Bro collects his own cards!
August 28th Mike trout tossed me a baseball and I cried of happiness lmao😂
Hobby is not blowing up anymore and getting back to normal👍 Cardboard is only worth so much .
