Wow, never recognized such a heavy difference in tone range of pickups in one guitar. The Seymore Duncan stands out a lot but that gives this guitar a versatility that is rare. And the sound of bridge and middle together is awsome. It would be nice to put a neck and bridge option in (easy mod). Thx for this review and stay safe.
I watched a guitar build of a straight-through model by a master luthier and he stressed the importance of the bridge being fixed to the straight-through wood and not the body wings as this LTD model does, I suppose the difference is minuscule but if there is a right way and a wrong way I would go right way every time, I guess LTD have done this to save money as the neck and body stock piece would have to be wider to fix the bridge to unless they designed a custom bridge to fit the straight-through section
