I am setting up a 1975 Chevy C30 dually Silverado Crew Cab as a Hotshot pickup and seen a COFFIN SLEEPER down at a Semi Truck Salvage yard and boy do I want to install it on my pickup. Live the work and the detail.
Here to the end bud. You're killing it. Motivation when looking up a mountain knowing you need to get to the other side is hard to find at times. Keep pushing.

Use copper safety wire on your shut off valves. It’s break away “it breaks easy when you need to use your valves”, we use it on aircraft emergency valves!!

Looks great ! 3 little things . 1. Fuel lines , my 01 both feed and return off the top bottom is equalize line ( not needed typically ) or a water drain ..... u will get water from condensation. 2. If your going aftermarket exhaust those stack brackets will have to come off . Bottom is easy just bolts tops you have to grind off rivets and punch em out or drill holes . 3. Lower panel braces ( did you have anything on the old ones ? ) its an air ride cab so think about that when you build something it will move with the cab .

The fuel tanks don’t look centered inside of the bands. Also that valve you have sticking out on the bottom of the tank could get broken off by road debris or train tracks you should turn the fuel tank so it’s pointing upwards a little bit. But other than that it looks completely awesome

Get a manual 18 speed and throw away that automatic like the vid/truck/build keep up the good work.
My guess a stop at Fort Knox then on to get the new lift and if he is in Indy it’s off to Freedom Engines to pickup the new engine as well.
Those shut off valves are also good in case your engine decides to run away from you. Good thinking.
Nope. A runaway mostly runs off oil from the pan. Only thing to stop it is air shut off

Looks badass can’t wait to see it with stacks. Some 7 inch or 8 inch straight stacks that are slanted cut at the top would look badass on this truck I love seein em on the highway and the truck I drive has em. It, is a 2000 Kenworth W900L daycab heavy hauler. I work at a tow company. I’ll also drive a 2005 Kenworth W900L rotator wrecker. That’s my main truck I drive. That has 7 inch curved slant cut stacks. Badass rigs. Love what you are doing with the Peterbilt. I’m a Peterbilt guy also. Kenworth and Peterbilt is what I like. 👍🏼old Internationals, Freightliners also cool rigs. Seen a old international with a big cam Cummins which was fantastic

Your return shut off valves should have put at the end of the fuel line where it connects at the top of the tank. If you have a problem, you're going to have to crawl under the truck and reach up around the driveline. That would really suck if it's raining or snowing.

That style tank does not draw from the bottom. They should have aluminum pick up tubes, that go in the largest threaded hole in the tank manifold. Pulling from the bottom will only suck up all the water. Especially with a toy truck that will sit a lot. The bottom ports are for a crossover line.

That was the cream on the milk... I almost would of had to spray that dirt off the back of the sleeper. I have done those cab to sleeper rings and if you can do one by yourself then your arms are a weight lifters dream. One fine job and now a road trip to the finish line on the cab
