Nancy, I would love to see a video focusing on you and your experience. Maybe a "Day/Week in the Life" type video? You seem to be such a lovely, calm person with a positive outlook. It was mentioned you were a nursing student. Was that your career or did you make another life choice? I enjoy hearing you articulate your 9 month journey, and would love to hear more from a woman's point of view.🙂
Thank you so much. This is Nancy here. We’ve tried to do a day in the life, but really on the sea days, It’s rather uneventful. We’ll see what we can come up with. I was a nurse in labor and delivery for many years and taught Lamaze classes. Then I stayed home with our children for a while and now Mike and I own a catering business that is running, while we are on the ship here.
@@livingphase2 Hello from a fellow L&D nurse! I bet you were great at it! What a fun fact to learn about you. I've been enjoying your vlogs very much :)
I'm a bit behind, so just finishing this one today. Thank you for taking the time to answer all of the unanswered questions! So funny that when you got to the last question about the animal sightings, I said out loud to absolutely no one, "Penguins!" and I was right and I gave myself a little pat on the back. Haha! Looking forward to the next one!
I have really been enjoying your vlogs. You guys are just the type of couple I'd love to cruise with. So positive and just downright nice! Continue to enjoy. Safe travels!
My ultimate dream is to have a world cruise. Had a good experience on our first cruise and my whole family enjoyed it. It was a very unique and amazing experience for us.
Welcome to Sydney. I do hope you enjoy your visit to my home town and the rest of Australia. Love following your journey which has brought back memories of many places we have also been. It was a shame that you didn’t get to Machu Picchu, but the Sacred Valley was also amazing. Keep posting and enjoy your trip.
We have just found your channel! It is really interesting. We are doing several separate cruises and our next one is Japan so we have been watching your Japan and Taiwan. It is so nice to see the excursions and ports. In fact we are booking the excursion that you did in Busan so thank you! We are also doing cruises to Australia, Hawaii, French Polynesia as well as a rail journey from San Francisco to New York in the next couple of years and your vlogs are so helpful. Thank you!!
You two are so much fun to watch !! Love your explanations and the pace , some bloggers are zoom , zoom ,Thank You for sharing !!! Great Rainy day surprise !! To watch your vlog today Thank You both !!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You’re going to LOVE Australia!! Oregon son lived there for 3 years after his military service. My husband and I would take our 15 hour flight every 6 months to see our son, daughter in law and our grandkids. If our son was still there we would have retired and moved. Enjoy every bit you can.
I really enjoy your videos. I have watched several other passengers videos and they are no where near the quality of yours. The time you put in to them really shows. Thanks.
Being an RV couple living in tiny spaces, I can tell you guys have a great relationship. No tempers, no arguments and just being extremely respectful of each other. I would've guessed you guys are rarely apart.
Thank you for taking us along on your journey. I am enjoying seeing places in the world that are so beautiful. You guys are so down to earth and fun to watch.
My husband and I are also "college sweethearts"...and I am also almost three years older. I imagine you've had your experience, Nancy, with "robbing the cradle"? Never bothered me, to be honest, and it was the best decision I ever made, not to worry about the age difference. We are now 71 and 68 and we'll be celebrating our 47th anniversary this year. :) Always enjoy your videos. Thanks so much for all the work you put into them and for sharing them with us!
Love following your vlogs. I LOVE Australia and NZ also, there last year. ENJOY, be safe and thank you for your informative, and very pleasant escapes for us to follow. You are GREAT travel ambassadors.
Nancy and Mike, thank you so much for doing this! As you can see, you’ve created quite a following. We are RC cruisers also and would recommend that line to anyone. We haven’t cruised since COVID, but have set one up for April! I can’t wait, I’m so excited I’m packing already! 😂 Almost! Have a wonderful time in all of the places you visit! Thanks for bringing us along! Debra and Ron
I think about you two every day, and hope that you’re safe and having a blast! I have seen so many other posts about the crazy things that are happening on your cruise, and then you two post a video with your amazing adventures, and I’m happy all over again. 😊 Thank you for taking us along!
Thank you so much!! There really isn't as much drama and Intrigue as gets posted. It's really a wonderful adventure and yes they're taking great care of us
Knowing where you are going and what there is to do is better even though it may be just a 7 day cruise. I would have missed things if not. And, I have missed things since I didn’t research ahead.
Very interesting q&a. Really enjoyed th chatter! That said, I about fell off my chair to learn your ages!! I'd have bet the house that you were +10 yrs on both ages. Enjoy this experience!
Just love watching you two enjoying life! My hubby and I are cruisers, and when we retired, enjoyed the freedom to finally cruise ad hoc. Unfortunately, COVID and age have restricted this part of our life. We are enjoying this dream cruise vicariously. Thanks for sharing your experience with all of us.
As a person with food allergies. I would love to see the behind the scene tour of the kitchen. Cross contamination of food is a serious issue I'm worried about on a cruise. I eagerly await that video. ❤️
We recently found you...and binge watched til we caught up! We love your "Glass half full" attitude! We met two other World Cruisers, Bruce and Maggie, on a cruise last year. We were following them until, unfortunately, Bruce had a medical emergency in Brazil, and they had to leave the cruise. He's OK and back home! We have a trans-Atlantic coming up next month..then another short cruise to France...then the Fjords in Norway! A few of the same ports as you. Looking forward to seeing your experiences!
Loved this! Thank you for taking the time to answer questions. Prior to COVID I traveled quite a bit but the pandemic stopped that. Then my 1st grand baby was born and I wanted to stay close to home for her. Your videos have inspired me to start traveling again. I am cruising the Norwegian Fjords and Iceland in June, then to Asia in November and an expedition cruise to Antarctica in January. I love your videos, super entertaining and informative.
There are port agents where you can have things delivered (especially Amazon deliveries. ) The usual fee is $5 a box. Ask your cabin steward - they know who they are.
I am not familiar with port agents. If there are Amazon lockers, we can order ahead and have it delivered to a locker as we did in Los Angeles. I don’t know if lockers are available in other countries or not.🤔
Hi guys! I did attend the live stream which was great and you did answer my question there. But it was nice to listen to these other questions and answers as well. I'm sure I got an email years ago from RC regarding this cruise but probably didn't pay attention. I'm not sure my husband and I could do an entire 9 months like you both are doing, but I really wish we were! Maybe your cruise will be such a success that they'll do it every year!
I love watching you guys so much. You are so informative and have such a calm pleasant demeanor. We're going on a Caribbean cruise in a few months and I remembered you mentioned a few private excursion companies went back to the video found the names and booked 2 so thanks!
Quote at 36:49 is so true. That is the right attitude...if you don't believe it maybe better to stay at home. Could share many experiences from my 13 years of living in Europe and traveling all over, 99% were good. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Nice to hear from a fellow former silver laker. We're actually there right now. We climbed the Sidney bridge last night and going to wineries in Newcastle today. It's been amazing.
You will love Sydney tomorrow. The weather should be just great for your bridge climb. Check out the Opera house and the botanical gardens. Take a taxi to many places too many to list! Go to Watson’s Bay for a great harbour view and the pub or Doyle’s.
It was a wonderful and amazing day and as you said the weather was perfect. We went with a small group all over town and saw the major sites and then climb the Sydney bridge and hit a pub and didn't make it back to the ship until almost 11:30 at night. One of our most favorite days can't wait to show you that video when I get it finished in a week or two
I"m enjoying your adventures vicariously in California. So many places on my bucket list. For sure go back to Machu Picchu, well worth it. No one on my list is Iguassu Falls. Enjoy guys and I will continue to enjoy as well.
Love watching you guys! Thanks for the great content - We are hoping to experience this in 2025 for our retirement trip and doing our homework now so we can make the most of it - be safe!
Oh, that’s wonderful to hear. We have a number of children aboard the ship for the full nine months who are being homeschooled. I think it is around 22 kids.
I could eat a salad everyday for each meal. I don't know how anyone can get bored with all the different food on a cruise ship. Just happy I don't have to cook. We only eat out when on vacation or a cruise. I cook Monday thru Friday and hubby cooks on the weekend. He is still working. Cooking is not that fun to me. I try to cook extremely healthy meals with variety because my husband is a foodie. Cruises answer all those needs. Totally agree with your planning advice. I am a retired CPA and planning is definitely in my wheelhouse.
I really look forward to watching your great content. It brightens up a wet and damp day here in England. Just one question,is there room for an English stowaway? God bless and cheers 🥂🍻
Here are two of the videos that explain our organizational tools. There are links too many of them in the descriptions below each video. ruclips.net/video/JnIap_iXTDs/видео.htmlsi=hO3S8ajL8hXh8Ka1 ruclips.net/video/BQbY7nqej4o/видео.htmlsi=aaeFgbhNvVKbA-23 thank you for asking!
I booked a cruise on Royal Carribean last year in August that I will be Sailing 9/22-9/27/24 I hadn't really paid much attention to what ship it was on. So, color me surprised when I logged into Crown & Anchor and realized I'll be sailing on your Ship Serenade 2 weeks after the Ultimate World Cruise is finished!!! I just thought that was interesting!
Hi guys Thank you so much for answering my question about your catering business. I really enjoyed this Q&A, keep up the good work. Looking forward to your Asian adventures. It was very interesting to find out that you are not bored with the food I’m bored. You would think that after being on the ship since September that you would be running out of different options to eat. But I am sure the food and beverage team have thought out the menu plan. Was so much great food all over the world. I’m sure you won’t run out of things to eat. When you go to Africa, are you going to eat those big white grubs? I watched other RUclipsrs called Cara and Nate and they got a certificate for eating those roses big white grubs in Africa. Safe travels.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m not familiar with the big white grubs so I will have to look into them. This is Nancy speaking here. I have said I would eat most anything on this trip except no scorpions and no tarantulas. If it comes to a fried grasshopper or a chocolate covered cricket, I’m willing to try it.😉
Since you both enjoyed the penguins I hope you get to see the fairy penguins while you are in Australia. They are tiny penguins and very unique. Also if you have the opportunity the helicopter ride over the Great Barrier Reef was wonderful. The snorkeling is also spectacular. We did this from an activity platform and it included the wet suit. The trays were the helicopter ride, Scooba do diving etc.
Oh yay. I hope Australia is everything you are looking forward to. My daughter is a zoo keeper and worked with Koalas a lot. She would come home smelling of eucalyptus. Just watch out for their claws if you are somewhere in Australia where you can hold them. Not everywhere allows that but their claws are sharp. I’m loving watching your videos.
So enjoy watching you two and learning about all the places you're visiting! So appreciate how positive you are and down to earth. Are there church services onboard.
Thanks for following along. Yes on some days they have church service as an example we just went to Good Friday Mass yesterday and they will hold Easter Sunday Mass tomorrow. They flew a priest in from Indianapolis for that. Thanks for watching
What do you do for your hair? I get a color and cut every month. I also get manicures every couple weeks. I can’t imagine how much I’d have to spend going to the ship’s spa.
This was a great idea for a video. I am definitely looking forward to your next "live" video. Have you considered doing a live video with other content creators, such as BZ Travel? I think it would be great from an audience point of view to hear you content creators discussing all the topics in one location and not have to go to several different channels. It may also help increase everyone's subscriber numbers. Either way I have enjoyed your channel.
I really enjoy your vlogs, you both sound like great bosses, to tell your workers how appreciated they are is something I wish to hear from my bosses at the hospital but it's not the hospitality business.!🤓But I really enjoy hearing your commentary on your travel journeys, very sound advice, very practical and very respectful of your fellow passengers, you don't infringe on other people which shows how respectful you are both of others privacy. A very nice vibe being here and your stories and adventures are simply dreamy. Thank you both for bringing the sunshine here on my coffee break on a bleak rainy day!❤️👏👏👏👏👏👍😉😹🤓

Unlimited drinks! WOW!
Yes, unlimited drinks, but some days we don’t have any and others we may have two drinks. Can’t handle more than that for nine months.
Thank you for taking us along, and sharing so kindly and openly.
Our pleasure!
Living vicariously through you!! Love these videos!!
Yay! Thank you!
Kangaroos are awesome too! We loved Australia! We did a 28 day around Australia. It was awesome!
When kids leave the house pets should too. We were heartbroken when our final pet passed in 2015,. Loving the freedom
We certainly miss our dog when she passed. But do agree that the freedom is nice at this time.

I really appreciate your honesty in your videos.
Thanks so much for those kind words. That is some thing we always strive for.
Nancy love your hair styled like this!
Thanks so much!
Can you list all the travel compartments you brought along for organizing and convenience. Thank you
Here are two of the videos that explain our organizational tools.
Very good! The serenade is a great ship. Enjoy your cruise.
Love your videos! And thanks for all the great info you share ❤❤
Thank you so much!
Hi guys
Thank you so much for answering my question about your catering business.
Thank you so much for the tips. We already have excursions planned in Australia. we’re very much looking forward to visiting your country. 😀
Thank you so much. I certainly hope I get a hold of koala.
Thanks for answering so many questions. If you do another Q&A I was wondering how you are doing your income taxes this year since you don't get mail?
We finished our income taxes a couple of weeks ago. We filed them online. We were able to download TurboTax, so really it was quite easy.
Love poke!
Nancy here and yes, I do too!
Before the World Cruise, how many cruises have y’all taken? Love the videos!
Close to a dozen. Nothing over seven days.
We’re really enjoying watching you two. Very inspiring. Do you know if Royal Caribbean will be doing another World Cruise?
There are mumblings about it. Nothing has been said for certain.
Nancy, here, I brought along a haircutting scissors to trim my hair. But most ports have a beauty salon nearby if need be.
That’s something we will consider. Sometimes it’s hard coordinating things with others. But we love BZ Travel. They are a wonderful couple.
My parents were like you two. Very close.
That is lovely to hear. It’s the way it should be.
Thank you both for bringing the sunshine here on my coffee break on a bleak rainy day!❤️👏👏👏👏👏👍😉😹🤓
Well, thank you so much for all these kind words. Glad to have you following along on our journey.
