Stephen Graham is the most underrated actor to ever live! He's absolutely brilliant!
He is insanely good
underrated by who?? wtf u talking about .....who are these people who under rate him
Hows he underated? I always rated him he can do any role, u mean you underated him? U seen him as al capone in boardwalk empire? Guys a genius
@@spunyballs everybody.... What you think he is rated as well as he should be by everyone? How dumb are you? How often does Stephen Graham get brought into the conversation of Greatest actors? Use your head son
@@nunyaplayz no I didn't under rate him. And just because you didn't that doesn't mean other people didn't.... Damn people need to start using their heads....
“I hate Liverpool cause all scousers are funny”- scouser next to him precedes to knock it out of the park.

Or out if the ‘ppaaarrrkkkkkkkkkkhhhhhhhh’ as someone from Liverpool would say…
‘Isn’t that your fault though?’ YESSS!
For a bloke who is well known for doing work which is extremely harrowing and miserable, Stephen Graham does have a great sense of humour.
I think you've got to, when you do such harrowing roles
Liverpudlians have a great sense of humour.
Imagine if he went for the “I’ll slay you where you stand” combo line 😭😭
@Garry Bee how's he being racist you fucking twonk

Stephen Graham as Al Capone in Boardwalk Empire is outstanding
Really, not seen that? Hes also in that new Tom Hanks war movie 'Greyhound' but Boardwalk Empire, I'll try and find that & watch it, cheers for the heads up
@@andrewisotope8146 if you’ve never heard of it you need to know that it’s a series and not a movie. 5 seasons of amazing television. Al Capone doesn’t play a large part until seasons 3 onwards but he’s there from the start
He is a good actor, but he looks nothing like the real Al Capone, let alone Italian.
Ever since this is England Stephen Graham has been my hero. COMBO forever brah! love him.
Historically, theatre plays, shows, entertainers played 1st in Manchester and Liverpool because the Audiences were so very critical. If the show, play or entertainer went down well in Liverpool and Manchester it was sure to be a hit in London and elsewhere in the country.
Great piece of info there!! Appreciate it👍💥
Holy shit. After watching him in boardwalk empire and the Irishman, I cannot believe he's got a natural scouse accent
have you not seen This Is England?
@cooldude4643 Hes probably American and that movie isnt well known here. I'm American and love movies but I only just heard of it a few weeks ago when looking up an Irish movie on IMDB.
99% comments about Stephen (agreed he is a legend). But can we appreciate Romesh’s initiative and his politicians speech 😂 we need more stand up mate 🙌
Steven Graham is a great guy, fabulous actor and all round good guy, Romesh is a brilliant comedian.
Ste Graham is one of the greatest actors the UK has ever produced..probably THE best.
Daniel Craig pretty good.
Stephen Graham is a brilliant actor who deserves a Oscar because he is just amazing person.
Classic example of a comedian getting schooled in Liverpool. Eric Douglas (son of Kirk Douglas and brother of Michael) thought he could casually try being a comedian. Ended up in Liverpool and started patronizing the crowd with American jokes that weren't hitting the landing. Finally, after bombing on stage for over 10 minutes, Eric Douglas yelled out "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? I'M KIRK DOUGLAS' SON!" and a Scouser stood up and shouted "No, I'M Kirk Douglas's son!", which prompted another Scouser to do the same, before the entire room stood up all claiming to be Kirk Douglas' son, and Eric dropped the mic and left the stage, never to attempt stand up comedy ever again.
@@eightiesmusic1984 Type in "Eric Douglas Comedy Liverpool" in google and you'll find multiple articles about it.
True though, scousers are genuinely the funniest people you could ever meet, great banter and love the honesty!
Evidence for this?
I had no idea he was a scouser. He's had me fooled for years.
James u been living in a cave 😭
We really need a sarcasm font for people that don't get it.
Hmm...I think you're irony was wasted 🙄
In fairness he does often use other accents in his roles, despite effectively being a "professional Scouser."
This will go over many heads..

He dug himself out just in time! The lads were loading up the shooters! Make me laugh funny man!!!💥🤣🤪
This is 100% true! My dad went to see Paul Whitehouse when he came to liverpool, moons ago…he heckled him & he ended up being booed off stage & walked off! 😂😂
Ngl I thought I was gunna watch romesh tell us how he can beat salad in a penalty shootout
"salad"

He's not having a go at the scousers.
“I don’t wanna die man”😂😂😂😂
Basically made a gig in Liverpool sound like Anfield away
I’m Canadian ..I had to look up what a scouser was lol 😂
the thing about Liverpool is that they have produced many good comedians and many good bands and singers for over 60 years. it can be a tough city but it can be a heart warming city. if you ply your trade in Liverpool...you have to be good.they don't politely applaude like the audience at the Royal variety show in London who just want to be seen there in Liverpool.they demand the entertainment they are used to.
True but we, also, demand no "e" at the end of "applaud"....as you were...
Good bands and singers, obviously probably the best in Britain but I'm struggling on 'good comedians'?
Rumesh ranganathan is what we need to enjoy comedy 🎭 and a true guy that loves London but also loves his coulture am I right or wrong 😑
Yes Liverpool and Glasgow are the same in that respect
Yep, all think hilarious .. but, generally not that funny, too loud, very tight with money & have an aversion to soap.
Hardest three uk cities to gig for this reason, Glasgow, Liverpool and Portsmouth

Scousers have the ability to laugh at themselves when faced with the stereotypical jokes, that’s class. And it’s allowed because they never whinge about being offended unlike a lot of people these days.
Paul Gore must just be your horrible Whiney accent then 😁
I think your missing the point.
@Non Compos Mentis do they?
Paul Gore Do you know every single scouser personally?
Brandon Shipley yeah! Brandon Shipley; know him well, everyone does. How’s it hanging Branno ?

I was at a live comedy night at a pub in Whitchurch, Shropshire. The last comic announced he was from Huyton. Zero response. He said, "It's next to Liverpool." At that, a bloke at a front table stood up and went to leave, but fell over his chair and landed on his face.
The comic, said, "Are you okay? Why are you leaving?"
The bloke replied, "I'm just going to lock my car."
Biggest laugh of the evening, and it was at something said by an audience member.
Name of this video couldn’t be more misleading
Yes it could.
@@markroberts1604 no it really couldn't, there was no sign of a confrontation in sight.
@@Baldy_FM it could have said "Ranganathan punches his mother in the throat", and that would have been more misleading because his mother wasn't there. There are an infinite number of headings that could have been more misleading.

Im from NYC and i go over to Liverpool a lot (i support LFC). Its true. Only city that compares humour wise is Dublin
I have never found Ramesh slightly funny, Stephen Graham however has a natural quick wit which is synonymous with Liverpudlians or Scousers as well as being a marvellous actor. No contest on the funny stakes.
@@mrlittlemartian in what way is he funny?
I would say it's generally people of Irish catholic heritage who are funny/ quick witted & there are a lot of those in Liverpool .. just not all people from Liverpool. Same with Manchester, Glasgow, etc etc. The best British comedians generally all have Irish catholic heritage; Billy Connolly, Peter Kay, Frank Skinner, Kevin Bridges, Frankie Boyle, Jason Manford, Jimmy Carr, Lily Savage (Paul o Grady), etc

I get what Romesh is saying. I'm from Liverpool and I've been to see a few comedians performing here and there is always a few scousers in the crowd that think they're funnier than the comedian and constantly shot out during the performance.

Saturday 4th May 2019
I read a review once when Dennis Locorriere of Dr Hook played a solo gig in Liverpool in what was apparently quite an intimate venue and just as he was coming to the end of a song, a mobile phone went off and someone in the crowd shouted out.
"If that's Sylvia's Mother then tell her he's busy".
Stephen graham is a legend,a perfect ambassador for our great city........
He did a story with the sun fuck him!
Nowhere else in the UK describes itself as a great city. Why is it so wonderful?
@@eightiesmusic1984why does it bother you that we love our city and our roots? You should try it.
@@boo6253 Does it bother you that those who boast about how amazing Liverpool supposedly is lack imagination and do not grasp that there is a whole world beyond it both in the UK and abroad? Unsurprisingly you have not given any reason why it is so brilliant.
He learnt one valuable lesson if you're around a Scouser...don't you dare criticise Liverpool. I've lived there for 40 years and am married to one with 2 Scouse sons...they don't like it.
Romesh is sharp af you gotta give him that :)
Stephen Graham is the best would rather pay to go see him in stand up😂😂😂
A friend of mine went to see A league of their own last year, he happened to run into Romesh outside the studio building and asked if he could have a photo taken with him. Romesh turned him down flat! Hardly even acknowledged him. It hurt my friend, he understands that he may be a busy man but he said its the way he went about it and Romesh has always been a hero of his.
Bill Proud I dislike as this is horrible from romesh

@@eightiesmusic1984 totally spot on about Dr Who. Utter dross that gets all hyped up beyond belief. Being an old git proper Dr Who was John Pertwee and Tom Baker!
@@michaeldean7220 Thanks. I am 52 so Tom Baker was my era but as the eighties ended I think the programme should have been cancelled and forgotten about as a going concern. Instead the BBC has hyped it continuously for twenty years hoping no-one will notice it has a vested interest in it as one of its own programmes. The cliche about watching it while hiding behind the sofa is also annoying as it an exaggeration that no-one does. Not that it actually is but some of the episodes of Tales Of The Unexpected are more sinister and eerie than Doctor Who.

There’s a difference between someone not being funny and an audience not meeting them half way.
If you go to a comedy show, you should be prepared to laugh. The performer has to step up. But the idea of going to a show just to not laugh or to dare the comedian to make you laugh instead of going to a show to have a good time is an odd use of your entertainment dollar.
I dont think anyone goes in to a comedy gig not wanting to laugh but theres a lot of really bad so called comedians (in my opinion) out there. Just sitting through Nish Kumar and live at the apollo (last couple years) is proof of that.
