I just purchased a 2024 Tacoma off road in bronze oxide with the premium package fully loaded for 53k. They offered me 35k for my 23 SR5 with 7,200 miles on it. I took the offer. First i thought i would miss the v6 but this thing has some power under the hood. After a wwk of driving it, i no longer miss the v6. This is is fun to drive.
Wait until inventory piles up more. Also, the holidays are just around the corner. I also found that in addition to the fall, Feb is a good time to buy. I like the new Tacos but there are no bright color options. Choices seem to be limited to black, whites, and grays.
Does the Sport have a different feel than the Off Road? Suspension wise I mean. Is it a big difference or just noticeable? Great videos by the way! I check them out every day as I try to decide what to get.
Each trim level definitely feels a little different but I personally really like the TRD tone suspension whether it’s the sport or the off-road and both trucks are priced pretty close just all boils down to that hood scoop and a rear locker ! Thanks for the reply and support my friend. I truly appreciate it. Have a great weekend.
Exactly! Good old Mr. Lucas didn’t have a seatbelt on, so we really couldn’t hear the motor going up that hill. I will definitely need another test drive in the hybrid. Thanks for the laugh on the reply my friend have a great weekend.
We will need at least $15k off from their msrp. 4cycles and made in Mexica crap and charge as made in Japan, there is no no for even owned a few Toyota trd pro.
Fantastic technology! Let me know when it works and stays working? Why buy and pay for hybrid when there is no savings? Does Toyota need that explained to them?
Can you opt out of the tv screen from the console? I already have one in my living room. That screen sticks out like sore thumb, looks horrible, and really is in the way
Sure, the exterior styling of the new tacoma is nice, the additional torque from the hybrid motor is nice...its just too bad that some engineer at toyota decided to leave the front chassis mounted lower control arm bumb stops off the new tacoma. ICON suspension just found this out the hard way. The weird part about sharing a common chassis platform is there is a lexus suv, not sure exactly which one. that has bumb stops and theyre welded on!
Not worth it in my opinion. Aftermarket lift kit and tires. No thank you! I am slowly coming around to the turbo 4 cylinder. Thanks Kenny! I would maybe accept a “stock from the factory” model. Mark in Iowa.
Yeah I hear you my friend I learned a little bit about lifts with the 3rd gen and one of the first things was don’t do a spacer lift lol 😂 but I must say these look really good and ready lift has a good reputation and they also use upper control arms! But the new truck looks great and people seem to like how it drives ! Thanks for the reply my friend have a great weekend!
12:34 Don’t get the hybrid people don’t realize if you’re getting these to offroad the hybrid system cannot be submerged under water an cannot do river crossings or mud pits or drive through water or flooded trails bc the hybrid systems need to breath an are not water proof which really puts a damper on what you can do offroad with these things an not to mention they’re a lot harder to work on maintain an more expensive to fix… Get the I Force an if you want more power get a bigger turbo and/or tune it to make up the difference bc these motors can handle decent amount of power…
Yeah, that’s what everyone keeps saying I’m not gonna lie. I just got in two trucks and off rolling if that’s what you wanna call it but I’m assuming the previous generation has them ?
I was skeptical of the 4cyl turbo, but after getting it along with the hybrid motor i will take it 10 out of 10 days and twice on Sundays over the naturally aspirated.
Good stuff Kenny Chow!
Thank you my friend!
The big screen looks like a DIY i-pad glue on job.
Great work Lil Kenny! Love the vid. Great looking truck....
Thanks a lot my friend. I truly appreciate the support. Yeah they had a bunch of nice looking truck stop there. Have a great weekend my friend.

Yes indeed! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend!
It’s no time for the average consumer to buy high ticket items with the economy imploding. Save your money , you’ll need it to survive. 😢
You are right. Thanks for the reminder
I know right that’s definitely what it’s looking like hopefully things will get better thanks for the reply my friend have a great weekend!

The only statement in this video I agree with is that your trucks looks and IS better. Cheers
Lol I hear you my friend
Yeah on regular none “high bread” just switch it to sports mode 🤣. Let’s get that 10k subs Kenny!!!
Exactly! Good old Mr. Lucas didn’t have a seatbelt on, so we really couldn’t hear the motor going up that hill. I will definitely need another test drive in the hybrid. Thanks for the laugh on the reply my friend have a great weekend.
I bought the TRD off-road non-hybrid the same option like that one.
$42k I hope they have good discounts in the one you drive my friend..
Nice congratulations my friend they are both awesome trucks !
Would love to see you review that Trailhunter 👌
I know right that would be awesome! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend have a great weekend
I’d let you pull the trigger on that white one 😂 but your truck is awesome also 👍
Lol 😂 I know right the white one was nice tho !
So are the hybrids 4 cylinder turbo? Or just 4 cylinder hybrid?
Turbo 4 cylinder hybrid
Did you make the move Kenny? I can it in your eyes...you're close.
Not yet but I ready lol 😂 hopefully 🤞 soon lord willing!
We will need at least $15k off from their msrp. 4cycles and made in Mexica crap and charge as made in Japan, there is no no for even owned a few Toyota trd pro.
Exactly I totally agree with you my friend

Yeah, you can get the 8 inch screen instead of the 14 inch screen

Yeah I have been hearing this
Best builds but toyota prices suck
Exactly!

@@littlekennytv5668 do you know the offset?

I’ve seen the Land Cruiser go through deep water. Maybe Tacoma different?
No one is going to drive through water deep enough to get inside the cab, not at the price there asking for these trucks.
No bump stop is the problem for off road ! 😅😅😅😅😅
Yeah, that’s what everyone keeps saying I’m not gonna lie. I just got in two trucks and off rolling if that’s what you wanna call it but I’m assuming the previous generation has them ?
@@littlekennytv5668 , my 23 TRD off road has it. Right behind the rear wheel 🛞 when you facing the tire 🛞 straight !
If your gen 3 Tacoma still works fine stick to it. Our economy is tanking...
Exactly! I will get one if it financially makes sense other than that, I will hold onto the truck
ranger raptor for $58k ftw
I know right I have to finish watching a video that compares the Trd pro to the raptor ranger
You might as well wait for a 2025 model, won't be too long until they're released.
I know right !
That’s a nice Taco still don’t like that price
Exactly!
Trade your 23 in kenny if you have faith in it
Lol 😂 I know right I’m in no rush but they are beautiful
When you said lift and tires I already knew it was wilsonville 😂
Lol 😂 you already know lol
I was skeptical of the 4cyl turbo, but after getting it along with the hybrid motor i will take it 10 out of 10 days and twice on Sundays over the naturally aspirated.
Nice congratulations my friend on your new truck! Thank you for the feedback!
