I recently bought a 2014 XTS Platinum AWD with only 28,000 miles.. This thing is soo damn comfortable and luxurious. Prior I drove a 2009 CTS which I loved. I just love Cadillac and will continue to own one in the future
Cadillac CT’s Awd . But if you buy one , if new , wait for the new CT5 . But if used , try to find a 16-17 Awd even an 18, they have dropped in price enough . With the 3.6l V6, has enough power Feels sporty, and drives smooth as hell. It’s definitely a step up from previous Cadillacs before it
So what are people's thoughts on this? I can't decide between the CTS or XTS, they seem virtually the same to me except for a few external differences in appearance. I won't be buying a car for a few mos now and it's pretty much come down to a decision between the XTS or CTS, I guess I'm leaning toward simply buying whichever one is lower cost but if there's some major difference I should know about, if anyone has that info, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
If I get a chance to, I will personally go back to the dealership and try to film with a Salesman about the differences between the two vehicles. If I can't do that, I'll do a virtual video from the website.
I was on the same boat. Couldn’t decide on CTs or xts. I went with the 2018 xts luxury. I wanted a slightly bigger car. And I think the lights look nicer on the xts. Front and back. But they are both beautiful. I just felt like xts makes a bigger statement.
You will hardly find a video like this on other car makers... only Cadillac manage's to create a confusing lineup where the differences aren't obviously clear and where they keep changing names every few years... i mean look at Lexus, the LS has been the LS since day one and everyone knows its their full size large sedan... the ES has been the ES and we know its the midsize sedan... with Cadillac, we got the ATS, XTS, XT5, CTS, CT6...and some of those are newly introduced while others discontinued...what the hell
Not going to lie. I got wicked angry when he was wacking the compartment next to the shifter. If I was the dealer I got dealership I would have thrown your ass out
I think the Cruze might be better. The instrument cluster on a base XTS is just a tiny screen at the bottom. At least with the Cruze , it's more squared off.

The xts instrument cluster is damn BS.... It's a cluster from a damn Chevy Cruise. Unacceptable
