@@LSxMotorsports2021 true. I thought I knew how to drive a stick until I got my Camaro SS 1LE and I just keep getting better. Practice is definitely the first mod. “Modify the driver,” I’m a new subscriber 💪🏿💯
I agree 100%.It is especially important for a stick car but even the automatic can go faster once you learn the best shift point for your car. Thanks for the Sub.Hopefully we will get some 6gen videos up soon.Long winter this year so we are running behind.
Big gulp is 5in think that is still for the lt4 motor..I have a whipple and cammed and running 4in on cold air…running 10lbs boost and pistons seem to be fine..love it
Good info for sure. I recently checked out some of the 2016 camaro SS and up for stock dyno pulls. Most I see are from 390-420 rwhp pulls. That’s so impressive stock as they are rated 455 flywheel hp. What a complete package. They do it all well just like a 4th gen f body does but with way more power. Definitely will run in the high 11s with MT DRs bone stock. Pending your track elevation. Headers , right cam , good tune your close to 500 rwhp. Wow !!! I wouldn’t mine owning one of those Camaros 👍
Yeah I thought about getting a new Camaro. But I decided I rather keep my 4th gen.High 11s is good enough for me.I should be able to hit that in the next year or two while still being very street able.
@@LSxMotorsports2021 that’s cool and I get that. 11.9 is moving and a great goal for your LS1 . It definitely achievable . You definitely have the mph for a high 11 sec run now Focus on that suspension it will help tremendously. Got to plant the power as you know. I was shooting for 12.99 with my TA and my brother was going for 8.99 his best time was 9.2 @ 148 but they closed the 1/4 mile last year which was a blow for all of us. Closest track is 2 hrs away. I was on the verge of rear ratio change from 3.08 to 3.42 . But now just going to keep the 3.08s .
@@mattspontiacta yep I am doing some suspension mods,Gears and a torque converter this year. That should get me close. You should have no trouble getting a 12 with your T/A.Keep the videos coming those 2 cars of very interesting.
Thanks for watching and commenting we really appreciate it.And thanks for bringing this product to your attention.Anyone reading these comments add any performance parts you think are a worth while modification because sometimes we aren't aware of everything that's available for these cars and we can all learn from each other. Thanks again for leaving a comment.
This video is about the V8 LT1 Camaro. But there are parts available for the V6 camaro. You will need to do some searching on the Internet to see what's available. My advice would be to test drive a V8 car.It might be better to save money and trade for a V8 car instead. But if you do decide to modify your V6 I couldn't blame you because I have done it in the past myself.
That would suck but if you're a 1/4 guy you could just put your money into suspension mods and make it launch off the line like a scared rabbit. These cars are pretty impressive completely stock so it's not like they are slow.

First mod: PRACTICE! That is some of the best advice, especially for younger drivers
I agree.Any powerful car usually can run faster with the right person behind the wheel.

This all sounds like a really great start! The price can get carried away really fast!
Yeah I think most our viewers are on a budget like we are so I kept it very basic.
Great overview! I would allso add the Victor Racing ACT camaro wing on the list ofr exceptional downforce when racing .🥵🥵

most of this would be illegal here in cali lol
Haha.Yeah my knowledge of emissions laws is pretty limited. The good thing is the new Camaros,Mustangs and Challenger are pretty fast completely stock.
Yea! Even the RotoFab big gulp CAI is illegal here in California 😅
