Miya-san, Miya-san (宮さん宮さん) - Boshin War Song
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 2 апр 2022
- Lyrics by Viscount Yajirō Shinagawa, In which the song became popular among Royalists during the Boshin War. It is about the man asking a member of the Imperial Family (宮) about the flag that is leading the file. He then later answered that it is the Imperial Standard (錦の御旗), the banner of the Imperial court army. It was customary in Japan that an emperor bestowed it on his military commanders as proof of putting down the emperor's enemy. 一天万乗 directly translate as heaven's ten thousand chariot lord or divine emperor of the realm. The term of "ten thousand chariots" could tract its form in China as a means to show the power of the emperor. It could also mean "Emperor of the Realm" rather than "Emperor of the World".
Azuma (東) could mean simply "East" in an archaic term.

@@trap_kyun90yearsago52 Well said
Meiji trash shogunate good bcz they brought Christianity and abolish samurai
@@amsyarsworld8472 Japan is far from being a Christian country. Shogunate actually destroyed it almost fully in Japan
Hmm yes, it's so bad that the oligarchy was abolished and all citizens could become equal, while Imperial authority was strengthened. Btw, the ideology of samurai warriors is still alive, especially in the Japanese army. The only thing Meiji destroyed was a privileged social class
@@amsyarsworld8472I wonder what type of Bushido Code they used during banzai chargers and harakiri during Imperial Age of Japan.
“トコトンヤレトンやレナ” Is onomatopoeia for a horses hooves hitting the ground while it is running
That is really nice.

The Tokugawa still live so the Shogunate can in fact, return. But it's not likely to happen.

What film is the video from? Man I think I'd really like to watch a Japanese movie about the Boshin War.
This sounds better on 1.25 speed, at least for me.
it sounds nice for me too
yes the cadence is better
Reminds me of a quick time march.
Its fast enough to notice a difference in delivery but its not "outlandish" to where it just sounds bad.
1.25× I give a 3.5/5
I’ll give it a 100/100

After a thousand years plus of samurai oppression the poor (and yes I do know it's FAR more complex than just this) finally, for a few years, got just revenge. Proving it didn't matter who your great-great-great-great grandfather was to be a soldier. After Sekigahara a disarming program(which I think in modern first world nations is sensible)made many Ashiguru poor, finding their land had been collectivised by one of a handful of huge landowners in many cases. The Ashiguru did most of the fighting for nearly a century and got nothing for it in many cases.
As I have noted the above is oversimplified ,of course it is,I would need to go to the few decent(though must-thank you helion and verlag books- gladly saw more are coming out) for references,it would take hours, and really,as a proletariat,it's just a self satisfied smugness I would be ranting about so I'm happy with a "shoot the rich" whine. Even though MANY samurai were dirt poor, though they did have special birth rights.
Btw....what film is footage from
Plus most officers of the new army units(which were a much mash, the best being a French trained brigade I believe)were also samurai soooo......sometimes we poor can't win. Poo in one hand, poo in the other.

Battle of toba Fushimi@@SuzutakeJP
It is a pity that the mass of films shows the shogunate as a backward military, although in reality they also used modern weapons, only they had less of it.
Even the last shogun, Tokugawa Yoshinobu gets that treatment as well, when in reality he was the most reform minded individual of the pro-shogunate and especially started modernizing Japan's army and navy after the French model.
The last shogun gave up his power and closed the old age to open up japan to the present
