I have nothing but a headache rezeroing the niche duo. What a cumbersome and time intensive process. Why do I have to do that for all alignment points of the upper burr?
At 4:27 it says screw the bean hopper until hand tight. Therefore, you're not tightening until the little metal point reaches 0 on the numbers ? Also, does however much you tighten the plate change the grind size in anyway ? for example, If I overly tighten the silver plate will it change my grind numbers ? If I knew a certain espresso bean worked at 8 will it now change to lets say 4 because of how tight I went around ? And will it do the opposite if I don't tighten enough ?
Zeroing - that burr touching noise just doesnt occur... What sound should i really be hearing? It just gets deeper, right up until the burrs won't turn, making it nigh on impossible to discern the actual initial touching point.
@@luigiliamzon kind of. I kept the lid up, stuck a pen in the little red button, and with it on, very carefully rotated the dosing ring til I heard what I think was the burrs touching
Will the same procedure for the burr calibration work on the original Zero? I want to try and recalibrate as I'm having to set my Zero to number 2 or 3 for espresso.
Mine can't turn past the 0 when it's tight. Does that mean it's zeroed correctly?
If you rezero the espresso burr - what happens to the filter burr when putting that in?

Same here, I couldn’t hear any difference at all
It’s a shitty process.
Hello, do you ship from UK?
Are there any known fees applied for European country?
having the same issue and seems like inconsistent

No, please follow the zero calibration video for that
Will the flatbird's fit in the original niece zero
No. Different burr size (63 vs 83mm) and a different assembly.
Why can u not touch the burrs with your hands?
Please make cuts of tasks.
Post as separate videos.
