- A Trip On The Northampton & Lamport Railway.
We ride behind 31289, also seen as 33053, 47205, 82114 along with some industrial locos.
After a trip on the line we walk on the footpath beside the track to have a look at the progress of the Southern extension of Broughton Crossing.

Thank you for the video. For your info, the signal box at Boughton is a new brick base, the top is from near crewe and the lever frame is from croft.

Ah I just missed you, what a shame. The walk to Northampton is a beautiful one but if youll be in for a treat should you wander from Kelmarsh Tunnels to Kelmarsh Station. I snuck into pitsford quarry, sadly only a small part of the quarry face exists. Beautiful video and very informative. Thank you

Nice informative video. Just a bit more information about Pitsford & Brampton signal box. The box is original to the line, having been moved from Little Bowden, just south of Market Harborough, but not original to this station. The original station signal box was located about 75 yards to the north of the rebuilt box. The 'new' P&B box was located in the new position so that it's operation could be visible to visitors on the station. I was Guard/Motorman on this particular service train.
