- Ryan and I head to The Northampton & Lamport Railway for Diesel Day. Class 31289 "Phoenix" is the diesel for the day driven by Railway Legend John Andrews (Retired Mainline Driver/Manager/Instructor). John and second man Tom offered myself and Ryan a cab ride up and down the line to add into this epic video. Before I show the Cab Ride I show you all the footage Ryan MG and I collected from the ground and from the air. The footage starts at the very southern end of the railway at Boughton and finishes up at the most northern point which is in-between bridge 13 and 14. Big thank you to Ryan MG and all the volunteers that made this day an epic one.

One love bro. Thanks for the support. Legend!
Hi purple x Ryan👋 what a cracking day out😊 I think you made that ladies day, while she was filming the TWAIIIIN 😂😂😂
Yh she was filming me so I filmed her 😂😂
Purple (almost) drives a "Toffee Apple"........ Class 31's seem to be held in some affection. Indeed my first model railway loco as a kid was a Triang-Hornby Class 31 in the then new BR blue livery.
Great video purple
big up purple massive them
Hard to believe this quaint little line is only 1½ miles. The amount of difference in the scenery makes it feel as if its at least 3 or 4 miles. I love all the signals and the fact that you've got quite a big selection of locomotives. I suppose next time will it be the class 47 cab ride ha ha 😂😂
Really enjoyed watching and it seems like you really enjoyed your day. I might be seeing the Blue Pullman HST tomorrow 😊🎉
Well enjoy the HST today. Yh there is so much more potential to extend this railway further, it's all eyes on them I suppose.
Great video

A Brush 2. An instantly forgettable loco on British rail, a lovely little loco in preservation.
