- Really chuffed with this visit to a small enthusiasts line. How they managed to run two steam and 2 diesels on a single track with a couple of sidings was a masterpiece.
Hi Kieth, this is a railway I know almost nothing about, thanks to your video, I know a lot more now. Most enjoyable, thanks for sharing.
Another great capture for you, Keith! Thanks for taking us on this tour. We left a huge like.
Great video, I thoroughly enjoyed your footage of this gala. Thanks for sharing Keith....
What a great little railway. Who knew? Thanks for telling is about it Keith. Cheers, Bob
What a lovely little railway Keith and an excellent video here. Just been reading up the history of this line after seeing this video and it's certainly now on my list of 'railways to be visited'. Excellent filming and that class 47 is in really good nick. Very enjoyable viewing. Cheers - Allan.
Good to see you out in the sticks getting some fresh air, makes a change from all the suburbs and diesel fumes. A nice gentle day out at one of our lesser known preserveds, well done for sticking up for them 🚂👍
Fantastic Congratulations my friend ♥....
Looks like a fun little railway. Thanks Keith.
Beautiful train video my friend!👍👍👍
We were there on the Saturday too! It was a great day with lots to see and do. My little boy and I make a brief appearance at 18:53. We would have said hello if we'd know you were there - he loves your videos!
nice thank you. got a wave as well
What a super location Keith beautiful setting too, almost idyllic, and all happening on a single track, simply amazing. Fabulous sound of the 31in its super blue livery and so pleased youvhad a cab ride on her in earlier times. Very nice change and location away from the hussle and bussel of our usual places we vist. Lovely vid from you and a refreshing change too, cheers Nick.
There a massive pub built into the old station house. It's very popular.
I’ve never been on this small line but it looks good and it looks like it’s worth taking a visit. It’s nice to see that they’re extending the line as it’ll attract more people to the railway. This gala looked amazing it reminds me of the galas at ribble Steam railway in Preston. Brilliant video! 👍😀
I would think you can't get much busier than that on this line Keith, very interesting to watch. It's a real shame the Northampton to Market Harborough line closed as just imagine how many would use it now.
If NCC had av let the society run into castle station tourism would have allowed the full line to be open now.
MrDeltic15 , I agree it should never of closed in the first place.
Awesome video mate 👌 👌 Big like
thank you
Most relaxing , Thanks Keith !
Interesting! haven't heard of this one before, will have to take a look at it myself next Summer, fingers crossed! Kind Regards, Ian.
Excellent little railway with lots of volunteers with enthusiasm just a sad lack of finances. Well done Keith 🤓
Nice video :)
Good luck to them...enjoyed that Keith thank you.
Hi Keith another great video mate good to see a old line coming back to live mate clive
Fantastic video smile I really enjoyed it hope you are keeping well 😀
hi Keith, nice video, good looking diesel, the blue 31.
This railway would still be in use if Dr. Benching in c.1965, had axed the line from Market Harborough.
Love the blue 31, nothing beats a day out on a heritage railway, great video.
Sorry, thought it looked like the old Blue Pullman, not a strong colour for a loco like that - BR two tone green a lot nicer? On the other hand the 47 had a beautiful paint job, almost like a model straight out of the box
@@bobingram6912 I just think it's nice to have something different.
@@harrison1053 Agree with you 100% on that 👍 When I saw it first I thought they might have repainted it for a Thomas weekend. Never mind the paint, what about the loco? Always thought of them as the forgotten ones but I love 'em!!!
Nice film nice little railway looks bigger than our one
You're doing a great job.
Deltics
Nice one, regular visit to Pitsford and Brampton, living in Northampton.
Looking back I asked you the same question 3 years ago on a previous film when you had a meal with June you said then it was not bigger than our one but 3 years on it might be now as ours does not seem any bigger than it was then
First time I'd heard of this one! Nice little Pecketts. Did you spot the back end of the model aircraft in the parcel van window?
thats cool..no i did no i did'nt
Worth remembering: Its all well and good Taking videos and pictures of preserved Railways. They want you to ride on them so the money comes in to keep the preservation going
It might be up and coming, but it's also proposed to re-instate the link between Northampton and Market Harborough which will go through here of course.
Took over 25 years to straighten out the line through Harborough so I wouldn't hold your breath on that one, but for sure it would be nice, and also a great alternative/diversionary route when there are issues on the WCML.
Don’t thing that will happen personally.
Is that Alan Plumb at 11 26 ?
doint know. sorry
I have enjoyed your videos for many years now Keith. I know you had a bit of a problem when Google took over RUclips. I have a problem that I wonder if you could help me with. My old channel was linked to my Hotmail account and I had nearly 100 videos on it but I can't sign in to it anymore. Does that mean it no longer exists or is there a way to resurrect it? Best wishes to you and Lady June. Yours sincerely Paul Devereux.
So sorry my friend but technically I am useless.
No problems Keith. Thanks once again for the videos. Best Wishes Paul
What livery is that blue 31
owners own livery I do believe
