What a superb reason for visiting Newhaven ( have only visited to catch a ferry to Dieppe and onto LeMans). You also kept the best to last HYMEK mileage

@@HenrysAdventures Yes thats the one,was taken away about 5 years ago now,so for me ruined the park,they also got rid of the boats on the lake too :( such a shame,used to travel from Brighton as kids to go there x
@@saskia6750 I agree it's a shame. I never got the chance to ride it. I remember seeing it as a child while passing in the car. Last year I was in the area and went to have a look. One section of track survives but as you say, the park isn't the same without the railway.

I did visit as a child and plan to visit again in the future.
I used to pop in there on the way to Eastbourne. Only knew about the dinsosaurs, not the miniature railway. Shame. A wasted opportunity!
