Im not sure we will ever get to witness something like this in movies ever again in our lifetime. The fact that they made these movies in the span of 10 years and we all had the privilege to follow the characters development alongside their actors, its an incredible feat and they really managed to make it a little bit of magic in the world.
It's wonderful to hear that you enjoy watching Harry Potter and Wizarding World documentaries so much! These documentaries offer a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes, showcasing everything from the creation of intricate costumes and stunning special effects to the dedication and creativity of the cast and crew. Whether you're a longtime fan or a newcomer to the Wizarding World, there's always something new to discover and appreciate in these documentaries. So, it's no wonder that you can never get tired of them - they're truly a magical experience!
@@pajasek99 I wish you uploaded Characters (Part 2) and Sound & Music (Part 4) documentaries in 1080p full HD, as well. They are the only two which were uploaded in low picture quality 🤷🏻♂️
Having read the books just after the movies, I can’t help but imagine the characters as the actors playing. They are ingrained in my mind, but the way they were portrayed in the films, the cast is so perfect beyond measure. It’s almost like, they came out from the books itself.
It's great to see that Alfonso Cuaron gave the actors creative freedom to bring their characters to life, including their appearance. Harry's hair in the third film does seem to be more faithful to the books, and it's nice to see that attention to detail. Giving actors input on their characters can also help them fully inhabit their roles and make the performances more authentic. Overall, it's great when directors and actors collaborate to bring the story and characters to life in a way that honors the source material.
I think the most accurate is the 4th. It looks very messy, just perfect. I wish they'd kept it just a bit longer than they did for the following movies
Bringing Cuaron on for the third film was the best decision possible. He brought his masterful mind for filmmaking and creating a truly special movie. He's also one of my favorite directors!
Why these were never bundled with the 4k Blu-ray still baffles me. Also the extras, bts too. Evanna lynch's luna was by far my fav hp character. Simply perfection ❤️ wish we see more of luna's character in the upcoming show.
I bought them all separately on 4k for this reason. It was a bit more expensive but worth it for the extra features and the "Creating the World of Harry Potter" documentary series.
The casting people did the right thing by casting Evanna as Luna! She’s got a lot of her traits in really life as well such as her dreamy voice, her wavy blonde hair, her calm personality, etc!
I couldn't agree more! Evanna Lynch was the perfect fit for Luna Lovegood. She brought the character to life in such a beautiful way, capturing all of Luna's quirks and endearing qualities. It's always amazing when an actor can truly embody a character and make them feel so real, and Evanna did just that. Her unique voice and appearance, combined with her acting ability, really made Luna stand out and become a fan-favorite character. It's no wonder the casting people chose her for the role!
Imelda Staunton is indeed a very talented actress, and her performance as Dolores Umbridge in the Harry Potter series was outstanding. It's always impressive to see an actor so completely embody a character, and Imelda certainly did that with Umbridge. It's also wonderful to hear that she comes across as kind and genuine in real life, which just speaks to her versatility as an actress.
I couldn't agree with you more - Gary Oldman was absolutely the best choice to play Sirius Black! Oldman is a talented and versatile actor, and he brought a depth and complexity to the character of Sirius that was truly remarkable. From his initial introduction as a mysterious and haunted figure to his later moments of warmth and humor, Oldman captured every aspect of Sirius's personality with nuance and skill. He was able to convey the character's pain and regret, as well as his fierce loyalty and love for Harry, in a way that was both powerful and moving.
@@pajasek99 As well as voice actor, due to him being the voice of Lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda. Gary Oldman really made a peacock sound intimidating and threatening.
@@IgorSalaj3578 Yes, Gary Oldman is truly a talented voice actor as well as a skilled film actor. His performance as Lord Shen in Kung Fu Panda is a testament to his versatility and range as a performer. Oldman's ability to embody the personalities of both live-action and animated characters alike is a testament to his ability as a performer.
Lovely documentary. If I had 1 wish, I'd wish to grow up, and be casted as an actor in one of these movies. Lovely community and one of the best made stories ever.
It's always fascinating to see how movies are made and to learn about the creative process behind them. The Harry Potter community is certainly a special and unique one, and being a part of such a beloved and iconic franchise would be an incredible experience. And I completely agree with you - the Harry Potter story is one of the best ever told, and it has captivated and inspired millions of people around the world. Its themes of love, friendship, courage, and sacrifice are timeless and universal, and it's a story that will continue to be treasured for generations to come.
Thank you for uploading part 1 and part 2. Truly amazing to see all these behind the scenes! Not just this, thank you for uploading all the deleted scenes. Great work! I recently decided to watch the whole franchise again and its a great extra to watch all the deleted & BTS scenes from your channel on top of it all.
In some ways Michael was closer to the character than Richard has been. In other ways he was far off. Both went for one extreme, while Dumbledore was kinda in the middle. Oh well… nobody back then could know what drove him.
I agree. I think it helped that he didnt act like a straight-up Richard Harris replacement, as that couldve come off as parody. I think they both had highlights.
10:40 when I was younger i didn't know that was kenneth branagh, i know him for is narrations on walking with dinosaurs documentarys on BBC until of course i listened to his voice more carefully i didn't know at the time that he played gilderoy. How Amazing 😊😅

Yes, David Heyman's comment about Evanna Lynch being the perfect choice to play Luna Lovegood is spot on. Her portrayal of the character was so spot-on and captivating that it's hard to imagine anyone else playing Luna. It's always interesting to hear insights from the producers and directors about the casting choices and their thought processes behind them.
Amazing documentaries of this phenomenal project, I hope one day we or our kids might acquire same phenomenal saga to live, grow and enjoy through the childhood.
My dad said he found it so weird watching Prisoner of Azkaban as he actually went to school with David Thewlis, so seeing him become a werewolf freaked him out 😂
44:00 🥰 very cute. I remember when I watched the series as a kid I was almost annoyed at the ending because I always felt these two had more chemistry together. Clearly it was even so off screen.
On the DVD it says "ADDITIONAL SPECIAL FEATURES INCLUDED". Does anyone know what this means? Is it that the original bonus features (on the DVD that was released when the movie first came out) are included on this DVD as well?
after watching this, it makes me more angry that they're re-creating the series on HBO for a TV show because THESE PEOPLE ARE THE CHARACTERS!! How can you remake it so quickly like that - would've made so much more sense to do a prequel of the Marauders, or maybe a look into the Wizarding World 150 years after the great war. What they say in this doc at the end about the unique nature of growing up with the actors and the characters cannot be matched. Ugh money grabs

I love when the actors are reading the books and when it comes to their character's lines, they switch to their voice they use in the films.

Harry's hair in the 3rd film is the most accurate to the books, glad Alfonso let the actors decide how it should look for their own characters.

The admiration Daniel has for Gary is so pure. And Evanna has such a strong and calm willpower, just like Luna. Beautiful
How awesome it was for all those child actors made friend and a sort of family over all those years together
