- Keurig not pumping water, try this quick fix. So I found a quick fix and am sharing it with you :) this is my take on a Fast repair of Keurig not pumping water all you will need is a turkey baster and some water. Super easy diy

I have the exact same model that you are showing, it's my 2nd machine within a year, I bought this 6 months ago and it has already crapped out, I will not buy a 3rd Keurig, they are nothing but junk, there's no way that it should be broke down already, especially 2 of them in a year. 😠 I will try your trick thank you buddy

Ya Lisa, since I last posted, my Kurig is running okay. However When this one is in need to be replaced it won't be with a Kurig, it just might be with a regular old fashioned coffee maker.

It worked! Ordered the descaler but as the saying goes " a day late" so did the baster trick and worked like a charm...descaler will be here tomorrow but thanks for the emergency tip for "in the meantime"

Bro I swear I wish I could take you out to dinner! My husband bought me this k duo over a year ago but we barely used it. Tonight we wanted to watch movies and drink got coco but it WAS NOT WORKING. It constantly kept saying add water. After going back in forth with that and finally getting that signal to disappear then it wouldn’t brew a full carfe and I was just threw! Amazing that this fix did anything to help. Anyway, I am pretty sure this is not what is wrong with most people's Keurig machine.
I am also sure that not all proplems with most people's Keurig are the same as the problem I had, but for this problem this works really well. It has also helped alot of other people so..... Thanks for watching :)
Worked like a charm! I actually didn't have a turkey baster handy so I just used a long straw (off a water bottle) and blew the sh*t out of the water intake base at the bottom of the water reservoir (while on the machine of course). Thanks!

I have a single cup Keurig that wasn't pumping the water. I took the 4 screws off the bottom, removed the panels, and gave some of the rubber tubes a squeeze. The tubes had some water in them so the squeezes helped push the water through. It started working then. I am going to descale next. Sharing in case anyone finds this useful.

Mine had been slowly pumping less and less coffee over past couple weeks. Poured enough vinegar into it to descale it for a year to no success. Tried your suggestion and bingo works better then ever. 👍 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦☕

Ah but was it the Vinegar that loosened it ?
Mine was making small amounts of coffee on the pot side and full cups on the k-cup side.. after hours of trying different solutions these videos shared, nothing worked.. took it apart and blew the vent tube out with compressed air, works perfect now!

Went and checked mine. Sure enough it had something in it. The next spot to check is where that attaches to the machine. I found algae in both spots. A q-tip got most of it out of the machine where the tank feeds water in. Works great now.

Idk if it was a coincidence but this worked for me too. Thanks 👍🏽 I say coincidence after I brushed that piece, coffee/water still wasn't coming out. Once I removed the pod that was still sitting in there, it worked. Anyways Keurig is no help, like some people have said, they are hoping you throw it out and buy a new one. BTW a dish cleaning brush works fine too, I don't think you need a toothbrush per se.

I used vinegar and it wouldn't pump. This turkey baster worked. Also, and I cant find the old video, but another guy said take your entire machine and hold it upside down in sink. That worked to. Thanks for the tip on this video

The turkey baster was a bit of a oh no I don't have one ! But I used a sink sprayer on hot. I also tried white vinegar first but somehow it all started working after I pushed the spring thing . The automatic water sensor also wasn't working. Well my mini works fine now. Thanks got it on the first vid.

Are you getting build up using bottled water or are you using tap water? So far every keurig I have owned using Poland spring water had not caused the machine to ask for descaling. I do run clean water through it every day after daily use. I have used the the descale formula from keurig once a year since owning both my machines bit not because it asked to be descaled.
yes this is from hard tap water. We have switched to using distilled bottled water and are having no problems. Thanks for commenting :)

I didn’t have a turkey baster so I took it and used my air compressor and blew both ports out as you showed and it worked! I had already descaled it and it worked fine for about 3 cups. I was ready to take it back to Target because I haven’t had it long, less than 3 months. I live in N Florida and our water is very hard. Mines brand new out of the box and has a descale light on. It spit out a tiny bit of water in the coffee pot side and won't even go on the single cup
Try to descale it. Or take it back somtimes stores just tape up the box and put them right back on the shelf. Thanks for the comment :)
Mine is brand new. I did the initial cleaning brew to get it ready. I notice the carafe side only brewed 7 cups, even though I pressed 8 cups.
You may want to think about taking it back :(

Try pushing the lid down, sometimes it just doesn't sit to please itself.

Mine the kcup part and the coffee pot part the lights just keep flashing green and isn't pumping water through at all.
try cleaning the little needle that punctures the k cup, let me know if that works!
I have the same one I’ve had since i believe 2020 if not 2021 and it just recently broke. Water come out of the carafe but not k cup side I tried all the troubleshooting

With mine it's only brewing water. The grounds in the k cup are still dry
Try a replacement needle. you can get them on amazon. hope this helps :)

sorry to hear that. you could try filling the water reservoir up with vinegar just enough to cover the back part and let it soak over night. this should also help to break down any hard water deposits. let me know this this helps. Thanks for the comment
Please for help or advice i have the exact same coffee machine.de cup side works well but the big side keep giving just a little and goes back to red light.tried your method didn't work for me.
I tried a bunch of youtube stuff also -- but it still didn't work. (including cleaning some of the water lines). I took a basketball pump (small, hand-held) -- and did a few pumps of air into the water input (after taking reservoir off) -- and it magically started working. 2 hours of screwing around -- a 1-minute fix did the trick. My wife had already picked out the $200 replacement and was ready to buy.
