    Solid video and Hollyland Mic sounds really good. Also consider the Yongnuo 11mm f1.8 if you're vlogging with the ZVE10, makes the crop factor bearable.

      @@Fredo.heavyy Thx! I do plan on getting the Yongnuo 11mm f1.8 for handheld vlogging situations eventually.

    Good review. I just went and bought a Sony a6700 + Sigma 18-50mm lens. I have some filters coming in the mail, but I have a HOYA UV(c) 55mm and a HOYA HRT CIR-PL UV (polarizer, basically). The filters I have coming in the mail are the Tiffen Smoque 3 (52SMQ3) and the Tiffen Black Pro-Mist (55BPM14). For the Smoque 3 filter to fit on my a6700, I have some step-down lenses coming in the mail, too. I also copped a SmallRig cage and a SmallRig side handle. I’m trying to start streaming and taking pictures. I want a cinematic kind of stream at all times, hence the Black Pro Mist 1/4 filter. The Smoque 3 is more for experimental photography I want to try. I’m completely new to this, but the last few days, I took a deep dive into diffusion filters. It’s all amazing. Thanks for the review. I hope to see more from you!

      @@0xggbrnr Yes, black mist diffusion filters are awesome! I have a k&f concept black mist 1/4 to help me get a more stylistic look. The a6700 is an amazing hybrid camera but I’m hoping that I can get some nice photos with my zv-e10.

    Zv E10 Mk2 has, 4k 30fps live streaming over USB-C
    10Bit & Better Rolling Shutter compensation
    The MK2 is Better.
    Only reason I'm not getting the MK2 is coz I have Zv E10 Mk1 with a capture card & already have a Gimble

      @@JayfkProductions876 Yes, overall the zv-e10 mark 2 is better but it’s not that much better and personally, I just don’t think it’s worth the extra $300. As for photography, the zv-e10 mark 1 is actually better since it has a mechanical shutter but the mark 2 only has an electronic shutter. IDK why Sony decided to get rid of it lol.

      @@isapeavey bcoz they kno folks aren't Buying the Zv Cameras for Photo 😂 this series is pretty on brand, it's in the Sony marketing. That USB-C stream quality alone would've been the deal closer for me plus the added Shooting Resolutions.. What annoys me is it feels like some of the MK2 features could've been brought to ZVE-10 Mk1 via firmware updates

    LUMIX gh5 blows that camera away.

      It has a lot of tradeoffs. It's chunky, double the weight, micro four thirds, worse autofocus. How does it blow it away?

    • @RealPivotTV
      @RealPivotTV Месяц назад +1

      @@BLNKT. ibis vs no ibis, 10 bit color vs 8 bit, I could honestly stop right there but there’s also the fact that micro 4/3 lenses are super inexpensive, you can adapt almost any other lens, no record limits, vlog, video centric codecs, cheaper than a ZVE10, dual card slots zve10 is plastic vs magnesium GH5, better battery life and etc yada yada

      @BLNKT. Месяц назад +1

      @@RealPivotTV depends what features you value more and which ecosystem you want to invest glass into. The ibis issue can be solved with gyro/catalyst browse but it does take time to render the footage. But the zv-e10 doesn't really have recording limits either.. 13 hours is more than enough for normal users. I don't think the GH5 is cheaper either, it looks like they're around the same price "used" now. But my point was that anyone looking at a zv-e10 body is probably in it for the weight/size/autofocus or the Sony E Mount upgrade path with the mark 2, a6700, fx30. GH5 is also a good camera with a lot of strengths that the zv-e10 doesn't have, you're right, but I just don't think it blows it away in a general "better in every way" kind of way

    • @RealPivotTV
      @RealPivotTV Месяц назад

      @@BLNKT. catalyst browse is not ibis nor is it as good. I never said the xv-e10 has recording limits. I just said the gh5 didn’t. The gh5 will get you a better end result if you know how to use it. But if you are just looking for good automation then yeah the Sony is your camera. You can get a gh5 for $400ish to $650ish from MPB or eBay which is cheaper than the Sony. I just bought one, I don’t make stuff up. Like I said for the less skilled photographer the Sony is the better camera but once you figure out that all of the greatest movies and best lenses aren’t autofocus and learn how to pull focus manually you will get a much better final product from a gh5.

    • @isapeavey
      @isapeavey  Месяц назад +1

      @@RealPivotTV You can actually get the zv-e10 cheaper brand new for only $600 while a used gh5 will run you close to $680. For IBIS, the zv-e10 pretty much makes up for it with catalyst browse. Micro four thirds lenses are also like the same price as aps-c lenses. And with the zv-e10, you’re getting more reliable autofocus, a bigger sensor, and a lighter camera. The only real tradeoff I see is the fact that the zv-e10 only has 8 bit color, but I’ll take reliable autofocus and a bigger aps-c sensor over IBIS and 10 bit color any day! So yeah, besides the lack of IBIS (which the zv-e10 pretty much makes up for) and the lack of 10 bit color, the zv-e10 pretty much beats the gh5 at everything else.
