    Brady has the uncanny ability to ask exactly the question you want answering - even if you didn't know you wanted it answering till he asked it. That, to me, really sets him apart from or even above just about any other interviewer/journalist.

      Do you have a PhD? Because I do not know a single person who has been awarded a doctorate in any field, that would mind a person with an honorary doctorate being called Dr (insert name here). Least of all Brady Haran, a person who has helped to inspire more young scientists and mathematicians than most other academics combined.

    that was such a great speech! i always feel nervous when someone is making a speech.what if they mess up..i just can't help but imagine myself in their place

    the legend. he is one of the greatest at bringing the news to the common man (such as me) from highly respected professors that normally wouldnt communicate directly to the public.

    Congratulations Brady! You, along with your colleagues and friends at Nottingham University have given so much to the communication of science to the entire world. I discovered your videos approximately a year ago, and almost immediately binge watched from there on in. I have endless respect for you, as well as Prof. Sir Martyn Poliakoff and all your colleagues at Nottingham, and thank you for broadening my knowledge and understanding, even though I am in my 40's.

    My greatest contrafibularities, wonderful sir. You have definitely earned this, Doctor. I had a strong interest in all of science as well was the field I'm studying for a degree in myself, but finding your videos and the professors and doctors and all the enthusiasm, it reignited a drive I was losing, so thank you.

    A well deserved public recognition of what you have achieved. I graduated from my physics degree 25 years ago and today your channels (especially numberphile and sixty symbols) are a daily part of my life, refreshing the things that inspired me so many years ago.     Congratulations Brady. I have been watching since the beginning of Periodic Videos during the Year Of Chemistry 2011. Being able to see your different channels grow and influence so many people has been wonderful. Your videos inspired me to go back to school and get a degree in Organic Chemistry.
