you are easy to follow I have 5640 hp printer which is a bit different from this one. but I can't understand how to scan a document It asks send to the computer or send to email but it doesn't go anywhere. can you please help me .
I am trying to print some papers for someone but, my printer tells me that I need to make sure my scan software has been installed. This was a surprise to me because, I have had this printer for few year and it never told me anything like this. Any help would greatly appreciated.

If I click on scan printer is saying computer not fine but I can print from computer so definitely connected..how to fix that?
How fast does it scan on maximum DPI.

I have same printer but no double sided option. Why Can u tell me

You need to reset and reinstall printer. Scan option may be not working for some reason.
Mine doesn't say page is drying
Mine says page is dying then has a heart attack.
