Nice. I've been using SimpleBake for a couple months now. Updates are easy, and it's working wonderfully. I've been considering, for bigger projects, substance painter, waiting for the 2023 version on steam. The problem with blender is mainly the time that takes. If you bake a 4k texture in SP, to have the same smoothness, you need to bake 8k to 4k in Blender, and it takes a lot of minutes for a GPU like mine. SP on the other hand is much much faster when baking. Nothing to do with Simple Bake, just Blender being Blender in that regard. If you (the viewer) are considering baking textures for models, give Blender a chance buying this add-on, doesn't cost much and it's updating with Blender :)
Addon seems really cool and saves time if it works. Its not working for me. I have tried every logical setting and its not working . I spent a whole day trying to make it work. i have pbr textures only and i either get messed up loooking images, white, black or other colors showing up after baking.
Do you have any tips for baking for Unreal Engine 5? PBR bake isn't working at all for multiple recent procedural texture addons. I think I'm not doing cycles bake correctly as the textures vanish after baking.
how do you display the simple bake result in scene collection bin in top right? For me after I click bake, it's only creating png image in file explorer folder, but not show up in blender
I'm looking to do a bake for skin textures and I really can't find much on the subject. When I apply these settings the skin completely changes color and becomes almost white marble color. I also tried to bake in cycle instead of PBR but the option does not work on my side, it remains blocked at 0%.

So my question is: I have a modular dungeon room that is contain multiple tiles objects and I want to bake the lights of the room so for that purpose what is the process? Is there a video that explain the lightmaps with SimpleBake?
Anyone know how to use it for a humanoid model? the tutorials that I did not find a tutorial on the subject, all I found was this one and another with a city and that of the creator with a medallion.
Anyone here can tell me why I don't have the shadows baked into the texture? I selected cycles and selected ambient occulusion (I have 3 Area Lights) - the exported model is also somehow very washed out (grayish colors) - in gltf on the web. The object in cycles in blender looks colorful and perfect.
I have a more komplex object (but combined into one mesh) - when I try to bake this object with the other existing objects in the scene everything turns black... without that "complex" object it works.. what am I doing wrong?

I can't export the texture, it says "unavailable - blend file not saved" on export setting.. it works just fine before
save the blend file then, after that it works

This addon update is really bad, is there a way around it, I Bought the addon and it says offline all time when trying to update
I would reach out to the developer. I haven’t had that problem, it just updates for me, maybe some sort of firewall or vpn issue?
