When the Witnesses knock on my door, I politely tell them I'm busy and to please give me their home address, and that I'll drop by their house unannounced in a few days to "talk about The Word." They always look at me strangely and reply, "I'm not giving you my home address," to which I respond, "Why not? You have my address." They end up leaving.

Also when talking to them keep in mind that apologetics isn’t so much about convincing people of the faith as much as it is about *defending* the faith. Ultimately it’s the Holy Spirit’s job to convict them because He’s much better at that than we are. We as humans have infinitely less knowledge & patience than the Holy Spirit. This is just SO great to listen to. I’ve been studying Watchtower teaching for years. It is terrifyingly tragic that they never know if they’re saved, if they’ve worked hard enough. We must share with them the love of Jesus, and start to chip away at the Watchtower organization. Put a pebble in their shoe. I have a burning ache for them; they’re simply brainwashed. By the way, your stick figure illustrations are better than anything! Well done!!
Mathew 24:13 says he who endures till the end will be saved. Its talking about endurance thru the great tribulation this means you might be killed can you be faithful till death? Well if you answer is yes then you will be saved but if you dont know that you will endure or be faithful till death the you wont be saved. So how can you be so sure youl endure till the end? Apocalypse 2:10 Jesus warns us that the Devil will put some of his deciples into prison and will be tried to the limit, Jesus even says be faithful till death and i will give you the Crown of life. Can you be faithful till death? Really? SO THE REASON Jehovahs witnesses dont say for a With certainty that they are saved, it's because. We can't be so sure we won't be disloyal under severe trials because we're all imperfect..

They never knock at my door now - not since my husband asked them if they knew where HIS church was? They naturally said no, to which he replied, "Well I know where yours is, so go away and don't come back until you've found out about mine!" At which point he quietly closed the door!
I had a couple of JW men come to my house on several occasions decades ago trying to convince me, but they always left confused and upset. The came one day with a converted Christian woman (CCW). I guess they thought they would be able to use her to convince me. The conversation went something like this; CCW as she offered me a Watchtower mag while the JWs stood smugly behind her: I was a Christian until I started attending their home studies. Me: May I have one of your bibles? CCW: No, that it would be too expensive if we gave one to everyone that asked. Me do you read the Bible? CCW: We didn't have the understanding to read the Bible on our own. That's why the Watchtower literature helps us to understand the Bible. Me: would you accept Christian literature to help you understand the Scriptures better after claiming James 1:5. CCW: I cannot accept anything written by Man, only the Bible contains the Truth. Me: If this is true, why do you accept the Watchtower and other JW literature? CCW: Well, because they said it would help me understand the Bible better. Me: Who wrote the Watchtower and the other JW literature? Isn't it men that wrote it? CCW began to look confused while the JWs began to panick: Well, yes, but... Me: Didn't they tell you you weren't to accept anything written by Man? CCW more confused: But, but they told me... JWs alarmed Me: Asked them why is it that they told you not to accept any literature written by Man, yet they told you to read their literature? CCW now confused looking back towards them and back to me: But, but, I was...told, but. Me looking at the JWs: Can you explain why JWs are not to accept nor read any literature written by Man while telling them they have to read the Watchtower and other JW literature that was written by men from your Faith? CCW looking dazed and confused making hand gestures of "what's going on?" A JW grabbed her by the hand, told her, "Let's go.", spun her around and left. I told the CCW to come back whenever she wanted. They never came back.

The only people Mrs Goldman hated were Jehovah's Witnesses missionaries who would go door to door actively trying to recruit members for their church. In my small town, there was a grapevine that operated very efficiently. It was a well-known fact that Mrs. Goldman disliked the Witnesses members who came calling. When her friends informed her that the Witnesses were in town, she called as many of her friends as she could to warn them about the unwelcome visitors. When the Witnesses knocked on her door she met them with a broom in her hand. Before they could speak Mrs. Goldman would say, " Let me ask you one question. Do you salute the American flag?" When they answered her with an emphatic no she told them As she raised her broom she said fiercely "Then get off of my porch I don't allow anyone on my property that doesn't salute the flag!" You should have seen the witnesses scrambling to get off of the porch as they were convinced she was about to go after them with her broom..Her method of dealing with the Witnesses was much quicker but equally as effective as yours. She never had repeated visits for those who had been thrown off of her property because they were convinced that she meant business. This was so out of character for her because as I said she was a strict but loving teacher that I shall remember for the rest of my days. The moral of the story. "do not mess with a grandmother who brings a broom with her to answer the door"
I had young children to protect from these maggots of corrupted texts, and that was more important to me than anything. JWs appeared at my door. I told them to make a note of my address and publicise to all their local group that if they called at my door I might well become violent. I then ran at them screaming. That was 35 years ago. I've seen them come down our street since then, but they never knock at my door.
Some years ago, I had them at my door on a Saturday morning. I answered holding my pit bulldog's collar and the one woman shouted, "PIT BULL!" and they left and haven't been back again.
Strange comment if I may say so. What can a church member share with JWs? They would already know what the churches teach. That is why they left the churches in favour of True Worship.
@@UnashamedofJesus : If JWs are not the fulfillment of Micah 4:1-5, who is? Any idea? That prophecy states that True Worship will be restored in these last days. God will gather all those who love and want to worship him in True Worship.

I actually asked the third question before. They replied "Yes, but some Biblical verses can be confusing or difficult to understand. So auxiliary materials are essential in some cases. The materials are not supposed to replace the Bible, they just help you to understand it better". Then I said "How do I know if your materials have the correct understanding of the Bible but not others? You have changed your doctrines a lot. How can I know if what I read from your materials won't be overturned in the future?" They just thanked my time with them and walked away.

Ask them if they are born again. They will say “Personally No”. You reply, John 3:3 “Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”” You tell them they need the inward dwelling of the Holy Spirit to guide them into the truth - not an organisation.
They would say "personally, no" because they're not. Being "born again" is only for those that have been selected by God to rule in the Kingdom.(Mt.6:9,10;Re.5:9,10;20:6)
@@ripcord8738 The phrase “born again” applies to people who have accepted Jesus as their Savior or Redeemer. The born again soul realizes that they are a sinner (Romans 3:23) and that the penalty for that sin is death (Romans 6:23). To rectify the circumstances, God sent His only Son to die in their place, to take the punishment for sin (Romans 5:8). After Jesus’ death, He arose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:3-6). Jesus is the only way to God (John 14:6) and He provides the blessing of salvation. Each person has the choice to receive or reject God’s gift through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9) and experience new birth (John 3:1-8). Whoever follows Jesus as Christ, the Son of God, and has accepted His gift of life can be called Christian. That is where the journey of rebirth begins.
@@robstacy The belief that all good people go to heaven is promulgated on the "immortal soul" doctrine, which is unscriptural. As I stated in my 1st post, only those selected by God are "born again". Everyone else(survivors of Armageddon) will live on earth.(Psalm 37:9-11,29;Mt.5:5;Isaiah 11:6-9)
@@ripcord8738 The Bible teaches that at death the souls of believers will go to be with the Lord, and, after the resurrection, they will spend eternity in the New Jerusalem, which comes down from heaven onto the new earth. The Bible makes it clear that deceased believers are with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:6-8; Philippians 1:23) in a spiritual realm called heaven. The ultimate destiny awaiting believers is the new heavens and new earth (Revelation 21-22). Our physical bodies will be resurrected and glorified, made perfectly fit for eternity on the new earth.
@@ripcord8738 The immortality of the soul is clearly seen in many places in Scripture. For example, in Psalm 23:6 David says, “I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” In Ecclesiastes 12:7 the Preacher mentions two things that happen at death: “The dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.” In 1 Thessalonians 4:14, Paul says that believers who have died will be with Christ at the rapture of the church: “We believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.” All these passages indicate that the soul is immortal.

A number of years back, I kept one busy talking for two hours on a hot July day. I kept them in my front yard, in the heat of the sun while we talked. I'm a fair hand around a bible, and I was twisting this person head in a knot. All the time we talked it was hot out, 90 something. I sat on my porch while they stood, I drank ice tea and I didn't offer them any. I was never rude, not did I belittle there beliefs, I just enjoyed showing them how little they knew and how little I cared. They never knocked on my door again.
Ever wonder why they always show up in pairs and never alone? My theory is to help prevent any JW from discovering the truth. It's hard to convert a single JW and almost impossible to convert two. The other one is there to report any wrongdoing of the other back to the leadership so they can be properly punished and even shunned, if needed. This makes it very unlikely for any JW to have an honest conversation with you even if they are interested in your points.

What kind of Jesus are the JWs on about that returned in 1914? This is what the Biblical Jesus said concerning his second coming. "So if anyone tells you, there he is, in the wilderness, do not go out, or Here he is in the inner rooms, do not believe it. They’re not asking any questions at my door because I don’t answer. I’m not looking to be converted nor debate. They aren’t worth my time. Simple solution.
James 1:17 makes it clear that God does not change and there are many other verses that teach the immutability of God. The Bible also says in John chapter 1 that Jesus Christ is the Word become flesh who dwelt among us. In order for the New World Translation and all the other writings of the Jehovah’s Witnesses to be true then God has changed. Everything they say must be rejected. I am not willing to become an expert in their demonic doctrines in order to witness to them. Galatians 1:6-9 makes it clear that there is ONE gospel and those who preach another are accursed. If a JW came to my door they would not be invited in or greeted. They would not be allowed to conduct a study of the New World Translation or any of their other writings. I would simply tell them that based on the Bible which predates JW’s by thousands of years everything they say must be rejected. They have not a leg to stand on. You are never more loving than when you speak the truth. If I was to entertain them and let them speak I would only be allowing them to add to their sin and my own which is the point of 1 John 1:10.

This is a post for DX (aka "Mr D C1"). The topic of the 144,000 keeps coming up and DX will not be honest and answer my questions. So I'll post them up front and see if you will answer them. Everyone, please refrain from jumping in and allowing him to divert the conversation. Please simply post "You haven't answered the question" each time he deflects but don't ask additional questions, let's get an answer. The apocalyptic genre that John employs in Revelation routinely employs symbolic numbers (look at all the 7's and 12's in Revelation). I think it is quite evident that the 144,000 is a symbolic number but JW's insist that it is literal. If that is the case then they must be consistent and interpret the other parts of the passage literally, so lets see if DX is consistent. “'Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.' And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel: 12,000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed, 12,000 from the tribe of Reuben, 12,000 from the tribe of Gad, 12,000 from the tribe of Asher, 12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali, 12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh, 12,000 from the tribe of Simeon, 12,000 from the tribe of Levi, 12,000 from the tribe of Issachar, 12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun, 12,000 from the tribe of Joseph, 12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed.” (Rev 7:3-8) Question 1: Do these people literally have a mark in their forehead? Question 2: Are these Jews or Gentiles? The text mentions the twelve (12) sons of Israel, so are they Jews? “Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven like the roar of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. The voice I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps, and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. *It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins.* It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb,” (Rev 14:1-4) Question 3: Are these people literally male virgins? Let's see if we get answers or deflections.

I always take over the conversation with anyone that comes to my door selling their religion and focus on the facts of me making sure they're exposed to God's word, that they understand salvation, that they believe in the Holy Trinity and the virgin birth, that Christ was crucified, dead and buried and rose again on the third day and that they can accept Christ into their heart at any time. That there is no such thing as "good works getting you into heaven." I keep the discussion focused on the only way to enter heaven is through accepting Christ into your heart. I make sure they know there is no other way and "being nice and loving everyone," doesn't cut it. I'm more concerned about their soul than they are of mine, but it's my job to spread the gospel and teach how to be truly born again.
I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. And these are my answer to these questions. Question 1) Did Jesus return invisibly, and appoint his faithful slave? Answer: Yes. Many confuse Jesus' presence (in kingdom power) with his coming to execute judgement at Armageddon. The gentile times ended in 1914, and Jesus was installed as king of God's kingdom in that year. This is established by both Biblical prophesy, and the sign Jesus gave at Matt 24:3-. At 2:10 that circular reasoning is not used by JW. That is a straw man. People become JW because it is evident what they teach comes from the Bible. Recognizing this is the true congregation makes further determinations possible. Like who that slave is. At 2:30 if Jesus would be seen, then why did he give a sign? Those specific verses are about when Jesus comes to execute judgement. 3:10 Jesus gave the sign of his presence. That is in scripture! Not the invention of men. -- Question 2) Are you a child of God. Answer: Yes. While the anointed have a special relationship, and are said to be adopted as sons in a special way, all who are dedicated to God are God's children. 1 John 3:10 The children of God and the children of the Devil are evident by this fact: Whoever does not practice righteousness does not originate with God, nor does the one who does not love his brother. The anointed are to serve with Christ, as kings over the Earth, for the benefit of faithful mankind. -- Question 3) Can I read the Bible on my own and come to an accurate truth? Answer: No. That is why there are thousands of denominations. You need to be where God's spirit is! We need to meet with our brothers. Acts 8:29 So the spirit said to Philip: “Go over and approach this chariot.” 30 Philip ran alongside and heard him reading aloud Isaiah the prophet, and he said: “Do you actually know what you are reading?” 31 He said: “Really, how could I ever do so unless someone guided me?” So he urged Philip to get on and sit down with him. What you believe needs to be in harmony with the true congregation Jesus is head of. The question is, can you reject the congregation Jesus is head of, and still be acceptable to Jesus?

One can not say anymore than the Bible teaches that Jesus is The son of God Jehovah the almighty and that Jesus is A god, not THE true god and not equal to his father Jehovah (Mathew 24:38-41) if he was he would know what Jehovah god knows would he not? He never displayed himself as equal and he did not send himself, but always said:" He that sent me" and Jehovah saying "this is my son whom I have approved". You need to do more research regarding translations of the Greek scriptures.
Do you know Greek? Here is a citation from one of my Greek grammars: “John’s Gospel opens with the majestic words, ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…’ John asserts, in a striking exclamation point, that the Word was himself God. The reader is left to infer that there are two referents of θεός, God (the Father; John 1:14) and the Word (Jesus; John 1:17). John’s striking opening assertion sets up the question of Jesus’s identity that will dominate the rest of the entire Gospel, ultimately leading to Jesus’s crucifixion: the deity of Christ. In the original historical context, Jesus faces escalating opposition from the Jewish leaders who consider his claim blasphemy (5:17-18; 8:58-59; 10:30-33). Indeed, at Jesus’s trial, they tell Pilate the Roman governor, ‘We have a law, and according to that law He must die, because He made Himself the Son of God’ (John 19:7). In our day, too, there are those who dispute Jesus’s claim to deity, not least by challenging the conventional understanding of John 1:1, and here in particular the third phrase, ‘the Word was God’ (θεὸς ἦν ὁ λόγος). In part, the reason for this is that the word order is reversed, with the predicate nominative (θεός) preceding the subject (ὁ λόγος). Is it legitimate to infer from the lack of article in front of θεός that ‘God’ is indefinite and should be rendered ‘a god’? The answer is a firm ‘no.’ According to Greek syntax, it is common for a definite nominative predicate noun preceding a finite verb to be without the article. In this way, the subject (articular) is distinguished from the predicate nominative (anarthrous, i.e., without the article), yet without indicating that the latter is indefinite (as in ‘a god’). Of course, Jesus’s deity does not rest on this one verse (see, e.g., John 20:28), but a sufficient knowledge of Greek syntax saves the reader from drawing the wrong conclusion.” Andreas J Köstenberger, Benjamin L Merkle, and Robert L Plummer, Going Deeper with New Testament Greek : An Intermediate Study of the Grammar and Syntax of the New Testament (Nashville, Tennessee: B & H Academic, 2020), 51-52.
@@BasicBiblicalTruth there is no need for Greek syntaxes consideration to be able to understand the plain Truths in the entire Bible. The deity of Jesus cannot be argued just as the Almightiness of his father Jehovah cannot be argued. Jesus is God, Jehovah is God, Satan is God, Angels are God, all are delty and divine in origin, but none of the other delties are equal to the Almighty who created them all. The entire Bible should be considered to understand the relationship of God Almighty to Jesus his son. Hebrew bible writers all believed in one delty not three. Since they never entertained such taught, it will be wrong to begin to infer that Genesis 1:1 use of the Excellence plural word "Lord" suggest Moses was implying three God. Such idea was never entertained by him. Likewise, it will be wrong to say that John at 1:1 was entertaining the idea of Jesus being of the same equality or substance with his father, since John many other verses insist that Jesus is the son of God, and even said that those who deny that Jesus is the son 9f God are Antichrist.
@@A-Academy-1 It isn't necessary to know Greek syntax to understand the overarching message of the Bible, but it does help to refute error-such as the polytheistic claim that Jesus is "a god" in John 1:1. You can argue that Gen 1:1 is a plural of excellence, but you can't make the same claim in Gen 1:26 because Hebrew didn't have a plural of excellence in relation to pronouns and verbs. The "US" is the Godhead (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). The "OUR image" is the image of God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) (we are not made in the image of angels). While the full revelation that God is triune awaited the fullness of time for the missions of the Son and Spirit (Gal 4:4), hints are given in the Hebrew text for the observant reader. Indeed, as the non-Christian Jewish scholar Daniel Boyarin says, “Jesus, when he came, came in a form that many, many Jews were expecting: a second divine figure incarnated in a human. The question was not ‘Is a divine Messiah coming?’ but only ‘Is this carpenter from Nazareth the One we are expecting?’ Not surprisingly, some Jews said yes and some said no. Today we call the first group Christians and the second group Jews, but it was not like that then, not at all. Everybody then-both those who accepted Jesus and those who didn't-was Jewish.”[1] The NT identifies Jesus as Jehovah, the second person of the triune God, by taking OT Jehovah passages and applying them to Jesus: Mar 1:2-3 (citing Isa 40:3 & Mal 3:1), Rom 10:13 (citing Joel 2:32), Phi 2:10-11 (citing Isa 45:23), 2Thes 1:9 (citing Isa 2:10), Heb 1:10-12 (citing Psa 102:25-27), 1Pe 2:3 (Psa 34:8), 3:14-15 (Isa 8:12-13). [1] Daniel Boyarin, The Jewish Gospels : The Story of the Jewish Christ (New York, NY: New Press, 2012), 1-2.
That Jesus is a god in John 1:1 agrees with the entire scriptural description of Jesus relationship with his father. So argument on Greek syntaxes for and against is only scholarly arguments but the entire scripture settles the issue plainly on the Monotheistic lie against John 1:1. If you argue that because the title "Theoz" (God, god) is used for both Jesus and his father (in NT or OT) mean they are not two separate delties, differing in substance, will completely invalidate the entire scripture (See Psalm 110:1). Even Genesis 1:26 does not in anyways prove that God and Jesus ( "US" and "OUR", which agrees with Colossians 1:15, 16), mean monotheism of God. Instead, "US" and "OUR" completely and plainly indicate plural, two or more separate beings. Moses need no hiding meaning to understand what US and OUR is - two or more separate beings. No Revelation regarding Necean creeds are in anyways hidden in the Bible as Revelation. Any teaching not support by entire scripture cannot be any awaiting Revelation to be revealed to apostate Christians, the same ideology the Inquisition took place. Finally, even Angels in the Bible are sometimes refer as Jehovah. This does not make them Almighty God, because those Hebrews knew well that they are Jehovah's representative and spokes person to him as Jesus was. Genesis 18:1-3. Exodus 4:13. Judges 13:6-8 e.t.c The distinction between Jesus and his father have always been clear to servants of God at all times, both in OT and NT era. Compare Psalms 110:1 in OT and, check the citation in NT. Mathew 22:43-44. Mark 12:36. Acts 2:34, 35.
@@A-Academy-1 angels are not called Jehovah. Jehovah himself appeared to Abraham. Second, Col 1:16 says that Jesus is the creator of ALL things, which means he is Jehovah. Read Isaiah 45:24 and 45:12. Jehovah says that he created everything BY HIMSELF, with his own hands, without any help. Therefore, Jesus is Jehovah. In fact, the writer to the Hebrew cites Psalm 102:25, which is about Jehovah creating all things, and says this Jehovah is Jesus (Hebrews 1:10). As for psalm 110, Jesus raised this verse with the Pharisees in Mat 22 to show them that their conception of the messiah was wrong-the messiah was Jehovah. Read psalm 110:1, then read psalm 16:2 and tell me, who is David’s Lord?

Another difficult question for soul sleep JWs and SDAs is what Jesus said. If his soul was asleep though they deny that we have a soul only that you are a soul, how could he be conscious to take his life up again?
Ask the folks at your door "Why are you here today? Are you recruiting new members for your church?" Some will say "No, we're just out trying to encourage people to read their Bibles." If they say that, proceed to LOD's question 3. Then ask: "Why would you tell me you're here to get me to read my Bible more if, according to the WT, reading the Bible doesn't do any good"? If the answer to "Why are you here?" is "We're telling people about God's Kingdom", you can follow up with "Why would you tell me about a kingdom you're not in?" They'll of course immediately say they ARE in it. Ask: "Is it true that WT doctrine says only the anointed (144,000) are *born again?* " They'll confirm that. They have to. If they don't, point them to this from JW.org: "Misconception: A person must be born again to gain salvation or to be a Christian. Fact: Christ’s sacrifice provides salvation not only for those who are born again as the ones who will rule with Christ in heaven but also for the earthly subjects of God’s Kingdom. (1 John 2:1, 2; Revelation 5:9, 10) That second group of Christians have the opportunity to live forever in Paradise on earth.-Psalm 37:29; Matthew 6:9, 10; Revelation 21:1-5." They are clearly saying that the other sheep just *subjects* of the Kingdom, not members thereof. It says clearly that the great crowd is not born again. Ask: "Since Jesus said you must be born again to enter the kingdom of God, doesn't that mean you're not in it?" They'll try to say that being in the great crowd allows them into receive salvation on the coattails of the anointed. Show them John 3:3 (NWT): "In response Jesus said to him: 'Most truly I say to you, unless anyone is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.'” Ask: "Jesus says you must be born again to see the Kingdom. WT says you aren't born again unless you're of the anointed. Doesn't that HAVE to mean you won't see the kingdom? Doesn't the GB's statement *directly conflict* with the words of Jesus?" My intent is not to promote "gotchas". I'm trying to illustrate that they're not really honest about their motivation for being at your door. If they're not, you have to wonder *why not* . If they came right out and said "I'm here in hopes of starting a 'bible study' with you so I can get you into the organization", that wouldn't go over well for most people. So, they cloak their intent.

50 years ago, a woman and a little child came to my door, Jehovah's Witnesses. Being a wise a$$, I asked if she believed the Bible literally and she answered yes. Then I asked about the Israelites battling the Madianites in the Old Testament where Moses raised his arms to Heaven and the sun stood still (in the Latin the Bible says "stetit sol") so the Israelites could win the battle. Then I said that this would mean the sun moves around the Earth but we know that the Earth moves around the sun, so the Bible is wrong, correct? She was totally flummoxed and I had a good laugh.

We as humans have infinitely less knowledge & patience than the Holy Spirit. One of the most active teachers in the program was Mrs. Goldman a very caring but strict teacher who had grandchildren close to my age that I was close to. @@ripcord8738 The phrase “born again” applies to people who have accepted Jesus as their Savior or Redeemer. The other one is there to report any wrongdoing of the other back to the leadership so they can be properly punished and even shunned, if needed. This makes it very unlikely for any JW to have an honest conversation with you even if they are interested in your points.

The Bible also says in John chapter 1 that Jesus Christ is the Word become flesh who dwelt among us. In order for the New World Translation and all the other writings of the Jehovah’s Witnesses to be true then God has changed. Everything they say must be rejected.
“'Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.' And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel: 12,000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed, 12,000 from the tribe of Reuben, 12,000 from the tribe of Gad, 12,000 from the tribe of Asher, 12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali, 12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh, 12,000 from the tribe of Simeon, 12,000 from the tribe of Levi, 12,000 from the tribe of Issachar, 12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun, 12,000 from the tribe of Joseph, 12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed.” (Rev 7:3-8)
Question 1: Do these people literally have a mark in their forehead?
These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb,” (Rev 14:1-4)

--
Question 2) Are you a child of God.
--
Question 3) Can I read the Bible on my own and come to an accurate truth?

Here is a citation from one of my Greek grammars:
“John’s Gospel opens with the majestic words, ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…’ John asserts, in a striking exclamation point, that the Word was himself God.
Everybody then-both those who accepted Jesus and those who didn't-was Jewish.”[1]
The NT identifies Jesus as Jehovah, the second person of the triune God, by taking OT Jehovah passages and applying them to Jesus: Mar 1:2-3 (citing Isa 40:3 & Mal 3:1), Rom 10:13 (citing Joel 2:32), Phi 2:10-11 (citing Isa 45:23), 2Thes 1:9 (citing Isa 2:10), Heb 1:10-12 (citing Psa 102:25-27), 1Pe 2:3 (Psa 34:8), 3:14-15 (Isa 8:12-13).
Judges 13:6-8 e.t.c
The distinction between Jesus and his father have always been clear to servants of God at all times, both in OT and NT era.
I always ask witnesses if they have a social security card? When they answer Yes, I yell mark of the beast and then put my fingers in the sign of the cross. Then I yell get away Satan and protect me jesus. It freaks em out and they usually run away. Me I just enjoy the good laugh and the show!
Wow! Thank you. I can use this to my JW older brother 💛
Wouldn't he already know how scriptures are twisted to make Jesus into God. I assume that he became a JW after leaving some church.
Might be good to listen to brother rather than these who are fulfilling 2 Timothy 3:13.
@@tongakhan230 he became a JW because he doesn't know the Bible, he didn't know the truth. Until now he didn't know the Truth because of the false teachings of JW.
@@krism5575 : That is the most absurd accusation. People get out of false religions and become JWs because they have found the truth.
See the prophecy about JWs at Micah 4:1-5.
@@tongakhan230 that's not an accusation but a fact. I was a JW bible study for 3 years and while I was a bible study i thought they taught the truth, why? because I didn't read the Bible myself. Same thing with my older brother. We were non practicing Catholic at that time. I thank God because he allowed me and my father to leave early in the JW. Why am I convinced that JW is teaching falsely? Because the Lord Jesus showed me the truth, he opened my heart and eyes. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Now, to me our salvation is getting clearer and clear. I thank God for everything through Jesus. Not the organization, not the governing body. I owe them nothing. I owe Jesus everything!
John 8:36 - If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Ephesians 2:8,9 - For by grace you have been saved through faith and that is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not of works lest anyone should boast.
You also have been decieved. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and not in men. You still have time to be free from false teachings of the JW. Read the bible and ask for the Lord your God Jehovah to show you the Truth in Jesus name.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to Father except through him. - John 14:6
For there is no salvation in any other. For there is no other name under the heaven given among men by which we must be saved - Acts 4:12 only the name of Jesus! No other name, no religion, no organization can save you, only Jesus!
I pray that you humble yourself to God. And have a "goal" to find really the Truth in Jesus name. Amen 🙏🏽
@@tongakhan230THE TRUTH, is not a state of being TRUTH is only through & from the HOLY SPIRIT and Christ Jesus. You will never hear a JW say “Christ CHRISTOS JESUS” because only those BAPTIZED by the Holy Spirit will call out CHRISTOS JESUS”. Amen. 🙏 If you blasphemy the Holy Spirit, “you will never be forgiven”. JW continue to Blasphemy the HOLY SPIRIT who is a HE TEACHER HELPER etc. The HOLY SPIRIT is beloved from GODS WORD, because the WORD is GOD, I AM that I AM. Hence the Temple priest and Pharisee’s heard Christ Jesus tell them all in the 2nd Temple courtyard. They asked Christ Jesus who are you, “I AM that I AM”. Immediately they picked up stones to murder him. Christ Spoke to Moses on Mt. Sinai and Moses asked God, they want to know who are you by your name. The mount loudly rumbled as God spoke to Moses, “I AM that I AM”. NT “before Abraham was I AM”. 🙏🙏❤️✝️✡️🌹🎼
Jehovahs name endures forever xxx and ever amen
When JWs come to my house,
l'll question them forever,
until they say "We gotta go"....Love it !
Questioning them is good if there is a desire to learn what the Bible teaches.
If anyone knew the TRUTH they will be going house to house with JWs.
Others sitting at home trying to make the lives of JWs miserable achieves what?
Ezekiel 2:7 You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or not, for they are a rebellious people.
@tongakhan230 no brother, you believe in an anti christ religion that distorts everything from the original texts to meanings of those texts. I would reccomend doing research outside of your "watchtower" network, and reading a real bible version, not the one made to support your liar founders doctrines
I ususlly wave a copy of "Why I am not a Christian" (Bertrand Russell) or "Can people learn to learn?" (Brock Chisholm): they usually scream and run away, one actually crumbled to dust on my doorstep.
I'll never miss these golden opportunities 😂
It's not religion. It's a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. For by grace you are saved and not that of yourselves. It is not of works lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8
It is indeed a personal relationship with God through that is most important.
However, can one reject the congregation Jesus is head of, and yet be acceptable to Jesus?
the one thing I remember about my dad is when bible bashers come to his door he asks war the front gate open when you come in and they say yes he politely says then shut it on your way out .😂😂
I always ask them if they can answer a question can you confess to me that Jesus Christ is your Lord and savior?then I will listen to you?
Another difficult question for soul sleep JWs and SDAs is what Jesus said. No man taketh my life away from me, I have power to lay it down ( which he did when it says he dismissed his spirit) and I have POWER TO TAKE IT UP AGAIN.!
Ask: "Is it true that WT doctrine says only the anointed (144,000) are *born again?* "
They'll confirm that. They have to. If they don't, point them to this from JW.org:
"Misconception: A person must be born again to gain salvation or to be a Christian.
Ask: "Since Jesus said you must be born again to enter the kingdom of God, doesn't that mean you're not in it?"
They'll try to say that being in the great crowd allows them into receive salvation on the coattails of the anointed.
Show them John 3:3 (NWT): "In response Jesus said to him: 'Most truly I say to you, unless anyone is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.'”
Ask: "Jesus says you must be born again to see the Kingdom. WT says you aren't born again unless you're of the anointed. Doesn't that HAVE to mean you won't see the kingdom? Doesn't the GB's statement *directly conflict* with the words of Jesus?"
My intent is not to promote "gotchas".
Did Jesus remain A MAN? . What does the Bible say? Rev 2, 3:22 called Jesus a spirit. 1 Cor 15 called Jesus a LIFE GIVING SPIRIT.
1 TIM 6:16 - says "he one alone having immortality,s who dwells in unapproachable light,t whom no man has seen or can see." NOTICE, NO MAN CAN SEE NOR EVEN DWELL IN THE UNAPPROACHABLE LIGHT. JESUS can see and live in that Light, so JESUS IS NOT PART OF THAT MAN AND NOR A MAN (human being in Original Greek). If Jesus remained as HUMAN , then u r saying 1 tim 6:16 is a LIE. Jesus DWELLS AND CAN SEE THAT LIGHT, but it says NO MAN (HUMAN BEING) CAN SEE. No exceptions. To be able to see that LIGHT and DWELL IN THAT LIGHT. JESUS IS NOT A MAN(human being) anymore.
JOHN 3:6- What has been born from the flesh is flesh, and what has been born from the spirit is spirit SO what happens to those BORN FROM THE SPIRIT? they are what? they ARE SPIRIT? are you a spirit?
@@Mr.DC3.1914 So are you born again? I can do this all day there skippy. All you do is ask questions you can't answer yourself? ARe you born again? If "no", then you cannot see the Kingdom of God. Those are Jesus' words, not mine. If "yes", then you apparently don't believe the WT and there is hope for you.
@@richbaker7187 SEEing something does not equate that you cannot be saved. why, are you A SPIRIT? those BORN FROM A SPIRIT, IS A SPIRIT - JOHN 3:6
@@Mr.DC3.1914 What are you on about now?
Thank you for this!
Oh they have come to my door step in a group once.
As forewarned by my Catholic family seeing them coming out from my neighbor, I didn’t open the door. So they have to go disappointed dropping some papers to call them.
Feel happy till now
Recall the old song: Hit The Road Jack and Don’t Come Back No More!
The one question I would ask a Jehovah's Witness is --- "What did you see Jehovah do?"
Lol!
Any time a person rings my door bell that I do not know I always remember a chore I need two people to complete and greet that person by loudly pronouncing that I'm so happy they came along at just the right moment to volunteer to help me lift the heavy object or climb the precariously perched ladder or do something else that they will regret ringing my doorbell.
On the very rare occasions Jehovah witnesses knock at my door, I simply tell them politely that I am a secular man not interested in religion. If they want to leave their leaflets, I take them and bid them goodbye. No problem.
So you lie? Interesting that people can choose to sin yet think they are saved.
During Covid the JWs started leaving voice mails on my phone. Had a boss who was a JW leader and ran his kingdom hall on government time. Any time you were in a meeting with him and the phone rang and he asked you to step out the call was about "church" business.
So JW's won't salute the flag, say the Pledge to the Flag or serve in the military but they'll take a goverment paycheck?
