@@adamofblastworks1517 My guess is that in the star wars universe, it's relatively easy to make a droid that is intelligent and self aware, however, it becomes trickier to moderate this type of freedom in order to keep them following orders. @@adamofblastworks1517 B1s do actually learn from experiences and each B1 does respond differently to a scenario depending on experience. They actually are hyenas in Star Wars. I don’t remember the issue but in a comic, Vader is task with killing some lazy officers on a savanna planet. At some point he attacked by the pack, but kills their leader and he lets them kill and eat lazy officers.
I thought he crash landed there after the destruction of the Death Star, and he let the hyenas kill the officers, because they were lazy and never went out to assist him, no less even notice that he even crash landed, until he walked in the front door.
I do remember from book somewhere, where they have hung from hanger ceilings they were being re-armed and then went up to the ceiling to make room for pair of tridroid flights, we're were then attached and hung from a hanging conveyor that went outside the hanger to storage. I would have to say that their biggest advantage would be their rapid deployment capability. The Bomber and pilot are one in the same. There is no delay time as they don't have to wait for pilots and it increases the operational range of any carriers as they don't need to accommodate said pilots.

A.I is a powerful tool, also a powerful weapon. If some personality is in their somewhere and it is honourable to the CIS, then I believe that it would enjoy finishing its mission
Just thinking of the tactics. Vith Vultures running top cover and Tri Fighters maintaining air superiority, a squadron of Hyenas runs defense suppression on Republic positions, allowing for HMPs to drop a few squads of BX Commando Droids behind enemy lines while providing close air support. All this after the initial orbital strike.
6:34 Actually. The hyena that was ordered to suicide asked the tactical droid if he had wrongfully ordered him to the coarse or not. The tactical droid replied that he had to go die in the hangar.
Thx this video helped my sanity cuz im a huge starwars fan and clone wars era is my favorite part so when I watch clone wars i was like bruh u tellin me u have a giant carrier and all u can launch is 6-10 fighters when the septetist launch hundreds I knew that the sepretists had manufacturing speed and numbers on their side but now I know that it was easier to build and buy the hyenas and vultures so they had like 10x as many as the republic had
8:00 I'm going to have to call you out on this. Hyenas are not scavengers, they are apex predators alongside lions. Often, they will kill their own food and lions will steal it from them. Lions are lazy.
Feel like the hyena bomber would have been good for the rebellion. It’s cheap and simple to manufacture, plus it’s big enough to have a cockpit attached should the rebels want to use this hull as a platform for different ship designs. Being a cheap design it’s probably modular too, so easy modifications.
I've got two questions: 1) What's the name of the music in the background? Please 2) Can you put the link in desription? Stop ignoring me!! If you don't tell me, I'm not gonna stop asking this 😠
I think that the droid starfighters are all sentient and aware, they just don't get enough screen time to show it. It's probably a similar thing to the Manta droids, even though the Mantas aren't canon anymore. There's probably a swarm of Vultures, Hyenas, and/or Tri-fighters sitting around the galaxy, causing trouble.
I just want to point out that while in Legends the cost was only 23,000 credits, in canon it’s 120,000. So its definitely still a beast, but was only 7,000 credits less than the canon cost of a republic y wing
0:22 SW self defense weapons legality logic isn't nearly as slippery as that of real life weapons bans. In the US, assault rifles are legitimate hunting weapons while lawn darts are banned unless they're blunt headed, while in Ireland, sharp spike headed lawn darts are ok but you can't have an umbrella sword or foot spikes. Pray for Britain, because if Brexit goes sour, the IRA could start chucking darts over the border. After the Battle of Naboo, I'm surprised the Trade Federation didn't start lobbying for a Gungan energy ball ban. But maybe that's just too close to real life.
It would be very easy for the bomber's program to include procedures for a kamikaze-type attack if critical systems have been damaged making completion of the original mission unlikely. In the case of the HMP, I think it is likely that the targeting and fire-control subsystems remained intact and at least partially functional despite the clear destruction of propulsion and other subsystems leading to the crash. Programming for failure is actually a real-life challenge for autonomous systems; for instance, self-driving cars need to be programmed with fail-safe procedures to control how the car fails if sensors are compromised. Another case is that if a crash is inevitable, an autonomous vehicle may need to choose between crashing into a barrier and killing its passenger and hitting a pedestrian that runs out in front of the car, which can be programmed in. Programming to choose to steer into a target would not too different. No self-awareness necessary.
5:50 Helios-3D transfers consciousness into a B1. So what's to stop a enterprising droid from _duplicating itself again and again_ and making itself an army [the Matrix - agent Smith]. And that's before it even goes *Von Numan machining,* or just getting access to a droid factory. And since R2D2 is such a clever, effective astromech, it would have made sense for the Rebellion to upgrade all its astromechs with R2's mind. Now let's imagine a IG series making itself the update for all B1's, or one of the B1's gets Mr Bones abilities and decides to propagate, or even some CIS tech decides not to check with Dooku before doing the new patch …

I know that some units in Empire at War used Hyena bombers
A.I is a powerful tool, also a powerful weapon. If some personality is in their somewhere and it is honourable to the CIS, then I believe that it would enjoy finishing its mission
REDACTED of the S.C.P milita that's why fighting a highly skilled droid with sentience is scary af !
BlackShogun 27 right?
Just thinking of the tactics. Vith Vultures running top cover and Tri Fighters maintaining air superiority, a squadron of Hyenas runs defense suppression on Republic positions, allowing for HMPs to drop a few squads of BX Commando Droids behind enemy lines while providing close air support. All this after the initial orbital strike.
Yo!! What up fellow Ezra!? Been years since I’ve seen somebody with the same name.
6:34 Actually. The hyena that was ordered to suicide asked the tactical droid if he had wrongfully ordered him to the coarse or not. The tactical droid replied that he had to go die in the hangar.
why did they pick names of real life animals for the ships?? are hyenas and vultures cannon?
4:05, What is that ship in the background?
A Gozanti
Re: Using a grenade launcher for self defense.
Whats the issue?
Thx this video helped my sanity cuz im a huge starwars fan and clone wars era is my favorite part so when I watch clone wars i was like
bruh u tellin me u have a giant carrier and all u can launch is 6-10 fighters when the septetist launch hundreds I knew that the sepretists had manufacturing speed and numbers on their side but now I know that it was easier to build and buy the hyenas and vultures so they had like 10x as many as the republic had
8:00
I'm going to have to call you out on this. Hyenas are not scavengers, they are apex predators alongside lions.
Often, they will kill their own food and lions will steal it from them.
Lions are lazy.
Crazy!
Btw, plz cover the yuhzang Vong invasion...
yeah we'll work em in
CIS fighters are soooooo underated!
One of my favorite bombers.
Feel like the hyena bomber would have been good for the rebellion. It’s cheap and simple to manufacture, plus it’s big enough to have a cockpit attached should the rebels want to use this hull as a platform for different ship designs. Being a cheap design it’s probably modular too, so easy modifications.
0:01 I just watched this episode in background😀.
Please make video of Maxima-A Heavy Cruiser
I've got two questions:
1) What's the name of the music in the background? Please
2) Can you put the link in desription?
Stop ignoring me!!
If you don't tell me, I'm not gonna stop asking this 😠
Shut the fuck up
Was just gonna drink this jawa juice myself, but OG Watt needs it more. (Pours whole bottle out for watt the OG)
My god these visuals are excellent
The quality of these videos has SKYROCKETED since your first uploads, it's always been good but now it's some next level stuff!
I like to imagine a Vulture droid would ride a flying Hyena droid like that one pair of seaguls
7:32 The idea I have is that it's translated and when they say hyena it's their most similar creature to a hyena
In a game battle for naboo a similar bomber was used by trade federation, like a predecessor to hyena bomber.
2:00 - 2:06 Coolest scene in the video in my mind.
I don't know why but I love the hyena bomber it is just the look and sound it is like a stuka for ww2 fast and deadly
jolie travaille très instructif !!!
The Lego set of this from 2009 was pretty cool.
One of the best CIS ships!
What's the name of the background music?!
Maybe they tried but senate was on on their side at time 8))
In 1 episode every time a vulture droid was hit by a capital ship's turbolasers it would fly straight into the capital ship
0:41 Own a musket for home defense, since that's what the founding fathers intended.
No self-awareness necessary.
just interesting that hyenas are apparently so well known in the SW universe that naming droids that is received effectively
Or retrofit ALL CIS droid models with the same heuristic learning system as the IG-100 MagnaGuards.
I don't know why, but this sound they make when they engage to mace Windu, it sounds a bit like a German StuKa/ JU87 R-Series Typ.
I heard one of these "laugh" as it bombed the clones in front of me, crazy droids...
loser
>Implying I don't need a grenade launcher for self defense
First of all, SHALL
I mean, you could, but I would advise you obliterate your enemy *BEFORE* they entered your home.
Also, a grenade launcher would be very useful for the ongoing riots.
All fun and games until the sky starts laughing at your joke
Think you can do a vid about Lushros Dofine?
CIS: What the hell is a Hyena!!!!!!!!!!
