Quick question for you Robin. Do you like Bumble and Bumble more or Kevin Murphy? My hair is medium type and progressively getting more wavy as I age, so control is my main issue. Which of the two brands do you recommend?

I'd love if you would try Geir Ness men, a Norwegian fragrance. It's a beautifully fresh fragrance, almost soapy but masculine too. Think you'd absolutely love it.
Great video Robin, and I’m definitely liking more fragrance themed content. Your take on things is unique and really knowledgeable. I was the same with tobacco fragrances but Guerlain L’Homme Ideal Extreme totally changed my mind. It’s a great line to explore if you aren’t familiar with them. Keep these coming in 2022! 😀

Great video as always! I‘m pretty sure the concentration on Ombre leather Parfum is the same as the EdP. Most brands don‘t increase the concentration when they release a parfum version. There is no regulation whatsoever that states a fragrance labeled as ie. EdP needs to contain at least XY % perfume oils.

Robin, great video as always, rose is the best note for me and by favorite is Bulgarian rose. For a nice rose, try jo malone velvet rose and oud! It is beautiful. Since you mentioned Maison Francis Kurkdijan try oud satin mood, it’s an even better rose.
I hope we get a 2022 edition! Loved this!

Love these videos, always interesting to hear your take! A fragrance I’d love to hear your thoughts on is Amouage Interlude Black Iris. It is by far the most interesting and mysterious fragrance you will ever smell, it is absolute art.

Wow you really made me excited about these fragrances. Too bad i can’t find any testers here in The Netherlands for them except for Tom Ford. So curious for the Halfeti Leather since i love headturners. The prices are a bit to high to just order it to find out if it suits me. Robin do you know where to find them? Btw always love your videos and glad to have found your channel . I always want to know you oppinion on products before i buy. Thanx

I work at a Bloomingdales in California and you be surprised by how many of female coworkers wear Tobacco Vanille; it’s truly the perfect unisex scent that anyone can pull off regardless of how masculine or feminine you are.

Great video! Enjoyed that. One question if I may, you said your friend bought you the TomF Tob Van for backpacking. Which fragrance would YOU buy your friend for backpacking? (doesn’t have to be out of these 5)
I probably wouldn't! Ha ha. It was a decadent gift. I'd tell him to not go backpacking and get a suitcase and go to a hotel instead.

I got the Tom Ford for my birthday a couple of months back and been in love with it ever since. Stunning fragrance. Also, my GF has been banging on about Penhaligon for ages and I had never heard of it... guess I'll need to check it out now lol 😉

Hi Robin great reviews ! Have u ever tried Natura Siberica products with herb extracts from the Siberian Tundra? I just tried the Bear Hug face wash and was amazing ... i ordered 2 face creams 1 eye cream and a shampoo ...i hardly wait to get them cause a cream is more difficult to make than a face wash and im quite curious how they are ...they are full of plant extracts check them out if u have the chance ... i got them from Amazon in the UK ... cheers
Although Scandal by JPG came out a few months ago it has to be my favourite for this year. It's just too nice. What's your opinion on YSL Y?
Scandal is a great fragrane. Love the JPG DNA. I have Y but haven't worn it a lot. Need to play with it more.
I bought a new bottle of Oud Wood, has the formula changed?
My 2021 bottle of oud wood smells only of Rosewood and cardmon and no oud at all.
Have you tried it recently?
My two all time favorites are by Le Labo: Bergamote 22 and Santal 33. Very pedestrian, but that's how I roll haha

Ombré leather is beast mode. Even one spray and people know you’re here. It’s very particular to your skin chemistry so it’s different for each person.

Never heard of a company giving a smaller bottle of one of the notes in a fragrance. Although it would make more sense to me if they gave you one with top notes since all fragrances will eventually dry down to the base notes anyway.
It's a really lovely idea. It's more of just one pure note, rather than a base.

Do you own any cheaper colognes? Some of my favorites are Azzaro Pour Homme Intense, Halloween Man X, Bentley for Men Intense, and Encre Noire a l'extreme. I can't afford expensive fragrances but i've got some amazing ones all for under $50 each

Kilian Straight to Heaven, Creed Himalaya, Creed Silver Mountain Water, Tom Ford Rive d'Ambre, and Creed Millesime Imperial been my most worn. Obvious Creed dominated but I just liked wearing something easy going.

Agreed. Calling this new edition ‘parfum’ is a bit odd as it’s lighter and brighter, and certainly doesn’t have the same longevity as the original. I was expecting something heavier and stronger. It’s a decent scent, but not as special as the original.
