Thank you for the idea! It took me about 7 hrs from uncut lumber to being on the wall. Total budget $83.00 after a 10% military discount. All items found at Home Depot. Already had wood putty, sand paper and stain. It looks amazing! The only thing I did different was I used 2" self tapping construction screws and I screwed the whole rack onto the studs. No hooks!
This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection ruclips.net/user/postUgkxkNYRBJuiJ6EwD-tQSAlxg0eFKsnR2cgz I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seems to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.
I made this wine rack for my "Woman Cave." It turned out great. Very easy to do with your instructional video. This is the third project that I made from your videos. The next will be the bathroom cabinet.
Seriously thank you! We just bought a home and I've been trying to learn DIY things. I'd like to build this for my wife for Mother's Day and I'd like to say you have by far the EASIEST and MOST SIMPLE DIY project step by step directions.
Sending a massive thank you from the UK. Love all of your videos and chose the wine rack as my first EVER home DIY project with my shiny new tools that I’ve put together over a 2 month period ready to start. Absolutely love it and looks fantastic in our kitchen diner. I even had the confidence to add a top which overhangs so I can fit a battery powered down lighter. Haven’t fitted that yet as light is being delivered in a couple of days, might work, might not but that’s the fun of DIY!! I don’t have the imagination or creativity you both have so once again big thank you for your videos, it has inspired me to make more ‘stuff’. Bathroom unit is up next for me and then the benches but I want them to have a back so not sure how to modify but will have a go and see how I get on.
I would really recommend pre drilling and use an impact driver I would hate to split this beautiful piece of furniture especially with screws that close to the edge. Excellent craftsmanship.
It looks great, worth noting though is that for wine the cork should always be wet which is why they're usually laid down. But this is fine as long as you not planning to have a bottle standing there for too long. So this is for temporary storage, not long term.
I love your technique, a little cutting, a little wine, a little drilling, some more wine, a little staining, a little, little more wine, etc. And it came out great... Awesome!!
Thank you for not putting pocket holes into everything. I also liked the progression from the wine glass, to the mug, to the bottle but you should have finished it by upgrading the wine to bourbon.
As a Wine Merchant. It's ok to have bottles standing if you're going to drink it quickly BUT if it's got a cork and you want to keep for a few years it's best to lay the bottles down. great vid
Best wine rack video I have seen. The instruction is well explained and the project is easy to build. I will use this design for sure. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love this. Will be making soon. You guys are the best. Thank you for giving the measurements. You inspired me to make the bar. I wish I knew how to add pictures. Thank you for everything...... do you have measurements for a tall cabinet with door mirror?
Ya'll make these tutorials so easy to follow! I want to run to Home Depot everytime I watch your videos!!! I definitely will be recreating some of these awesome pieces of furniture!
I had to chuckle at the irony of The Rehab Life Wine rack. I know... different meaning of rehab but still good for a laugh. Great design! I'm looking forward to seeing this on my wall.
I love their videos cause just like me I love creating things but I live in a small apartment so I don't have big stuff to use but they give you option diy that you can do things without having to use big stuff . I love your videos pls continue to ma me more , thanks
Very impressive! It starts out looking way too complicated, but you simplified it. I think I'll make just one more change -- use tongue and groove boards for the middle to hold them together. Because, awkward as I am, if there's a way for it to move when you don't want it to move, that will be me.
Different areas will have different prices for the materials and depending which store you pick. The price I came to at my local Menards is $90. It was the 3 foot galvanized pipe that blew the price up.
I may use it for hard liquor but wine really needs to lay on it's side so the corks don't dry out. also the weight of the bottles and liquid would eventually tear out the picture hangers. still a great idea
Love the wine rack and am giving it for a Christmas present, but the wood filler doesn't take the stain, and it's sticking out like a sore thumb. Not sure what to do. Time is running out. I'd be grateful for any suggestions on how to fix this. Thanks
Nice project. Although the material for this one is rather expensive. Making it now and I only had to buy 2 planks of lumber. Had all the other wood already. And bought all the steel. Cost for 2 planks of lumber, steel & fittings, screws and hooks was almost $80
Hi great job on this ..I'm.planning to build this ...I was just doing the calculations for the materials and see that you arrange eight pieces of 1"*6"*17"...this amounts to a total of 48" of width ..however the dimensions you've given are 44"
what kind of wood should l purchase for these projects , can home Depot cut the sizes that l need and what is that screw thing called and the estimate price for it ? l think you guys do great work and you also make these projects look so easy. I'm glad that you guys showed up on my feeds. l always wanted to do this but didn't know how to start. Thank you !
I've watched 1 and made it and it came out flawless. This one looks as it would be the same. Any advice on what you would charge to sell it? Trying to learn the woodworking craft. Any advice on how to charge for the wood work would be greatly appreciated. Subscribed today.
Just curious, is glue on the boards against each other optional. Noticed your barn door, you glued the boards facing each other, but this one you didn't. Was just curious why or if there is times you do or don't? Thank you!
E B I built one and got heavy duty hangers that go on the wall and the back of the rack that lock together. Obviously you need to hit the stud or this thing will rip off your wall
won't the wood expand and contract causing issues down the road? All these videos are simple which is nice but I wonder about the longevity of some of these items
super bueno el video y espectacular el mini bar o portador de botellas y copas, te felicito, pero me pregunto si me resultara ami tomando vino todo el tiempo jajaja.. de todas formas muy bueno :)
What would be a good height to mount this in a living room? I think the height in the video is suitable over a side table but what about if nothing is below it?

Just finished building this for my wife for Christmas. She's going to love it. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for giving the parts list up front. So many DIY videos don't do this.

I may be late on this but great build guys! I just built one of these for my mother thanks to this amazing vid. Thank You!
Oh that's awesome, hope she likes it!
just love that style of wine rack, thanks for sharing and teaching.
Thank you for not putting pocket holes into everything. I also liked the progression from the wine glass, to the mug, to the bottle but you should have finished it by upgrading the wine to bourbon.
Haha that woulda been good, I have two bottles of bourbon on my counter right now!
As a Wine Merchant. It's ok to have bottles standing if you're going to drink it quickly BUT if it's got a cork and you want to keep for a few years it's best to lay the bottles down. great vid
Probably 1% of the entire population buys a bottle of wine and saves it for a few years but thanks for the info 🙂

This is a beautiful project. I love the idea. I plan on making one for my wine room
I just finished this industrial wine rack. Was a blast. The only problem I am having is how to hang it. This thing is freaking heavy!
Nick Rasmussen how did you hang it??
simple et efficace tres jolie merci pour vos videos

awesome wine rack will be making one soon for my house
Can't wait to build my own. Thanks for all the ideas.

Super cool tutorial. I feel like I can make this
Thanks!
I may use it for hard liquor but wine really needs to lay on it's side so the corks don't dry out. also the weight of the bottles and liquid would eventually tear out the picture hangers. still a great idea
Just built this and came out awesome only thing I changed was putting a French cleat in the back to hang it
Love the wine rack and am giving it for a Christmas present, but the wood filler doesn't take the stain, and it's sticking out like a sore thumb. Not sure what to do. Time is running out. I'd be grateful for any suggestions on how to fix this. Thanks
Brilliant 👍🏾 I like the idea of a little drink during the making 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Super nice dude , you really have nice talent
Very nice job......Thanks for the great idea and awesome video....love the lil pooch
Good design and thanks for sharing!!!

Kyle Wood what hooks did you use??
ok so what if someone wanted you to build one for them and send? would you do it and how much would you charge?
from Paraguay, good job my friend!! I liked that!!! congratulations!!!!
You are both amazing. Thank you for sharing your work. I am going to go buy myself a tool box and start making these beauties! Love from India.
Hi great job on this ..I'm.planning to build this ...I was just doing the calculations for the materials and see that you arrange eight pieces of 1"*6"*17"...this amounts to a total of 48" of width ..however the dimensions you've given are 44"
Thanks for watching! The actual width of a 1"x6" board is only 5 1/2", so 8 together would make 44"...
What was the total cost of this project?
Minus the wine of course
Thanks
Te quedo muy bien Buen trabajo te felicito Saludos desde Venezuela

Just made this yesterday. Came out awesome! Great video
brilliant the glass hanging idea at the end is inspired
Bacana seu vídeo.
Qual o nome do tingidor de madeira ou verniz que você usou??
Vou fazer um igual o seu.
Obrigado ótimo video.
I'm a fan....but please make a workbench in one of your future projects!
haha maybe one of these days...
This is one of my favorite wine rack I have seen
It looks like knotty pine, but I could be wrong. What type of wood was used here?
I've watched 1 and made it and it came out flawless. This one looks as it would be the same. Any advice on what you would charge to sell it? Trying to learn the woodworking craft. Any advice on how to charge for the wood work would be greatly appreciated. Subscribed today.
you guys are awesome keep these coming me and my wife love it.
очень хорошо получилось вы молодцы и у вас красивая жена....
Yeah. Booze it up around saws and hammers. That makes for a good combination.
Just curious, is glue on the boards against each other optional. Noticed your barn door, you glued the boards facing each other, but this one you didn't. Was just curious why or if there is times you do or don't? Thank you!
One day can you please do a china cabinet? I have a tiny kitchen with no space for my dishes. This would really help
kiera davis I second that! I refuse to pay 500 bucks for something I know I can make.

Love your sense of humor, and I really love the wine rack!
Great video! I’m going to attempt this
Thanks, good luck with the build!
This worked out nicely, thanks for the idea.
What kind of wood did you use? What's recommended? Your rack looks awesome and I would love to build it myself!
Great job! how much did it cost in material? if you can post that would be great!!
Love this wine rack, great design!
Absolutely brilliant! I am going to make this.
I don't know if I agree with the weight and movement of a wine rack supported by two picture hangers. I'd probably drill that into a stud to be safe.
But I still love this video. Great job man.
E B I built one and got heavy duty hangers that go on the wall and the back of the rack that lock together. Obviously you need to hit the stud or this thing will rip off your wall
deathraid44 I'm saying forego the hangers and go right into the studs
French. Cleats.
I make French cleats for mine and they work perfectly
Awesome vid man!!! Going to build a few of these...we like our wine!
Just started the project ( thank you ). Is the 1 x 4 tqht attaches to the 2 x 4 actually 31/2 " or true 4".Thank you and keep up the great projects.
won't the wood expand and contract causing issues down the road? All these videos are simple which is nice but I wonder about the longevity of some of these items
nice one, good job. I'll build one, thanks
Excelente trabalho. Ainda mais acompanhado de um bom vinho. Parabéns!
I can't wait to try this tomorrow... It will go great with my country table
how did it turn out?
It looks amazing! And it was so easy and inexpensive to build. Lowe's has the cheapest pine board
Anínesah Rodriguez how much did you spend on pine ya reckon?
you drunk all the bottle of wine and done the project you are very good constractor
You two have the best diy channel for awesome things. I cannot wait to see more videos. love it great work!!
But...you guys did a really good job.
Really cool! How about a spice rack video? Or a Pots and Pans Rack video
super bueno el video y espectacular el mini bar o portador de botellas y copas, te felicito,
pero me pregunto si me resultara ami tomando vino todo el tiempo jajaja.. de todas formas muy bueno :)
Gracias!
Hi, congratulations for work! one hi of Brazil
After building this I found it to be quite heavy, was this mounted to studs or did you use heavy duty dry wall anchors?
Hi, sorry for the late reply! I would definitely recommend attaching to the studs due to the weight
What would be a good height to mount this in a living room? I think the height in the video is suitable over a side table but what about if nothing is below it?
Eye level would be a good choice.
I would love to see your take on building a bed frame😊 love your DIY projects!!!!
great job, regards form Mexico
Good Job on the Wine Rack ..Rehab ....I like it
Great job. I am definitely making this one.
That’s a awesome job and I love the color can you tell me what color is it?
great job on the wine rack but im really interested in the flooring. like the wide boards. what did you use. thanks
Really would like to see like a computer table/ flat table
Great job guys thank you! what was the approximate cost for to build this?
If I drank that much wine during the project I would nail myself to the board
lol
Lol
How long does it takes to build it ?
Alcohol and power tools, great combo
Awesome wine rack, I'll have to make few of them now :) great videos and awesome work.
wow. amazing. What type of coating did you use for this wine rack?
great job but what makes me curious is to know story of you guys.. lovely couple u both make .... ☺. and seriously appreciate your work
Thank you so much my came really nice I use 42 in. Heavy-Duty Mirror and Picture Hanger to put in the wall
Well done! Thank you for posting this. Can anyone tell what kind of wood they used in the video?
Looks like pine or douglas fir
Could you use a nail gun for most of this instead of screws? It seems like it would cut the need for wood filler unless the weight is an issue?
Screws will definitely provide more stability. It's a heavy piece especially when it's filled with wine so I would advise sticking with screws.
The Rehab Life how much does this weight?
I have a question. How many coats of stains would you recommend? And poly?
This VIDEO was just the one I was searching for.....
