ALL OF OUR LUMBER IS PURCHASED AT MENARDS, A MIDWEST HARDWARE CHAIN. FOR THESE VIDEOS, WE ARE GENERALLY USING STANDARD PINE BOARDS. YOUR PRICES WILL VARY DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU SHOP AND THE TYPE OF WOOD YOU SELECT. Хобби
I really really appreciate how instructed is and very simple. I hope they continue this and I will continue to share
+Selena C. Thank you!
I am glad to hear that you have found this book to be very informative and helpful for your woodworking project ruclips.net/user/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO It sounds like you are well prepared and confident to build furniture for your house. I commend you and your friend for your enthusiasm and willingness to learn new things from this book. I hope you enjoy your woodworking journey and create some beautiful pieces.
Made my 1st kitchen island recently and got great moments about it from family and friends, thanks to your instructions I know I'll get better but all the credit goes to you guys for your guidance, cheers. 👍
Apart from building such nice thing... I'm in love with her.... She looks stunning :D
Very simple, very cool, very practical. I love what you guys do. The simplicity is fabulous.
Little tip to this when installing on the wall; don't add the support pieces at 5:32. Instead, leave them off and stain/finish them with everything else. Once you're ready to hang it, drill into the wall on the studs exactly where those brackets will go. Once it's hung, add the braces to hide the screws.
So you'd be relying on the 1/4" plywood to hold that up?
I recently subscribed to this channel and I thing they have some awesome ideas and some are not that great but like everything in life you take what suits you and discard the rest, without the need to put people down. These people that are questioning them for the $20 cost of this cabinet, grow up! I saw the design and right there knew for sure it was going to cost me MORE in Florida, I don't believe I am the only one smart enough to figure that out, location, location location!
Keep up the good work The Rehab Life.
This is one of the best DIY videos I have seen on YT - and I've watched sooooo many. Thank you for sharing! Cannot wait to make this next year for my bathroom :)
I don't think I have looked at the wood work at all... I can watch her whatever she is doing all day and be mesmerized about it.
Enjoyed watching you build that cabinet it gives me ideas as well ty.
I love watching these videos!! I really wish some of the builders show how they hang up some of these wood projects tho. I can build stuff for sure! But hanging things, even pictures are not my strong suit.
There are so many wall anchors nowadays, I recommend this one, it goes into dry wall, locks into it, about 80 lbs per hole. I recommend 2 for this size cabinet, there should be plenty of youtube vids about it. www.homedepot.com/p/Hillman-1-4-in-Strap-Toggle-12-Pack-376363/203754353 video of different anchors ruclips.net/video/2SSJaO3gVPE/видео.html
Those 2 wood strips inserted are for mounting. First locate the wall studs.. with a good stud finder (they are 16 inches apart). If no walls studs, no worries; buy some plastic wall anchors (some can hold 50+ pounds each!!!) so it's an easy fix.
A trick for mounting heavy stuff, but can't use wall studs:
1. Hold your project into the deselired placement and mark the corners with a pencil (get help to do this if needed)
2. predrill a small hole (thinner than the diameter of the screws you're using) into the mounting parts of your project. Ex: if my project weighs 20 pounds and I plan to place 20 pounds of stuff on it... I'm gonna make sure that it'll support twice that amount AT LEAST. So I'll use 80 ibs of support from my wall anchors at least. I'd use 4 of the 20 Ibs capacity ones. Or maybe even 4 of the 50 Ibs ones, just because...
3. Hold your project up to the marks you've made.
4. Hammer a nail into the mounting holes, this will CREATE THE HOLE PLACEMENT ONTO THE WALL. Now remove project again.
5. Now you know exactly where you can insert your wall anchors. Do that now.
If you this every time, EZ PZ.
@@JoshNtheedrifter I’ll have to re-read this a couple of times but I think I’ll get it! 👍
I absolutely love ur videos I have been bugging my husband 4 years to build things around house and he never does so finally I watch ur guys and did them myself this is my next project I have already done coffee table and barn door
Awesome! Sounds like you're turning into a pro, thanks for watching!
I'm digging the videos! Glad my wife found y'all.
Once again beautiful job very clear and i wish i had tool's will start to gather.....🙏
I absolute love the videos!!!!! The details is A1!! I have made several projects using you guys videos: Wine rack, mantle, and barn doors!
I love your videos... nails, glue and wood, yaay... $20 or $50 who cares...that cabinet will look fab for years, and the older it gets the better it looks, thanks for posting...
it matters, because they're not even using good wood. It's junk wood.
I’ve had things made of cheap wood. Made by either myself or my dad that has lasted years. I guess it depends on what the intended use is. This cabinet most likely won’t be holding anything too heavy so it’ll last.
@@kmarshall131 who cares?! You don’t need to use the same kind.
Simple - Lovely finish !!
I did ask myself why don't they use a work bench or something but it does really give the sense that anyone could do these elegant projects. Nice approach to get what seems like a mysterious complex job and make it accessible to all.
Thought the same thing about her using a brad nailer..but I'm sure it was to give the anyone can do this effect..Excellent tutorial..Even I can make this
Yes. When I saw her on the floor, I knew this was for me
I love these guys! the instructions are easy to follow!

Wow I'm so appreciative for you guys!! Do you know how much money you are helping thousands or millions of people save!!! Wow I'm really contemplating making the headboard and this cabinet? I'm going to take the measurements and cut to Home Depot to cut all I have it a power gun I don't have the wood cutter you guys have but thank you so much for the video I love the rustic look ❤️
I built this today.. and I love it.. the wood ran about 18.00 but the pipe is more expensive so that cost another 23.00.... after tax and everything this was about 44.20 to build.. I already had the stain and everything else needed.
I swear I love watching you guys and that little dog just kills me

Nice!
I am in West TX and bought all the supplies at Lowes for 24.00.
No way
The galvanized pipe alone cause around $20 at Lowe's or home Depot
muito bom os vídeos
The scene with you and the NES joystick. :)
beau travail i love your smile
True the cost claim is misleading but the videos are very instructive and make these projects look very doable, even for me.
Wow your videos are awesome!!!
Love it! I like your projects! Best regards, México!
By the way, 1800, great Tequila!
เก่งด้วย น่ารักอีก
very very gooooood
I like the project and I like what you do BUT saying this cost $20 is a stretch. I shop at Menards, a lot, and there is no way everything you used for this project cost $20. If my wife saw this video and LOVED the cabinet and gave me a list of materials and $20....what could I buy at Menards??? Well here is a breakdown of what the materials you used are at my local Menards....
1/2 floor flange (x2) - $6.16
90 degree elbow (x2) - $1.59
Close nipple (2 pack) - $1.94
Galvanized pipe - $2.99
Pine board 1x8x10 - $8.62
Pine board - 1x6x4 - $2.79
Pine board - 1x2x2 - $2.39
Not counting glue, nails, screws, sanding block, stain and poly…..or the 24” x 36” sheet of plywood.
Now I have a serious question....do you think less people would watch this video if you had a cost of $50 in the description? Don't get me wrong....I like the video and I like what you're doing but the cost seems to be stretched just a little. Maybe put a link to the material you bought in the description so people can see what you paid and compare it to what they had to pay???? Fun video nevertheless.
Chris Parker I agree. I really like the videos but I just spent the minimum I could to build this and it cost me $86. Not including the galvanized pipe and materials. My guess is that all the pieces were left overs from previous projects and they broke it down as such. But no where $20. : /
+Rick Martinez I agree. I don't know why they put a so low cost of materials in the description. Click bait? Not sure.
Chris Parker They said they only got the wood from there. Who's to say they didn't get the rest somewhere else at a discount?
+Stephany Lewis $6.20 for everything else.....impressive.
They cut the wood themselves in the video.
i got to try this
You are the best
I'm going to be making two of these. However, I'm going to make them bigger and recess them into my walls so I can get more depth.
Oh I love this. just found your channel, new sub here.

Excellent chicken coop building guildThumbs up.
Good and very nice job! your the best :)
love this! if you put it on the floor it will be a boookshelf lol!! it's a 2 in 1 project :)
Super
Very cute dog ! :D
Can you build a book shelf for a kid to be able to sit on? I love how you build everything so simple.
These videos are fantastic keep up the great work.
Thanks for watching!
I built the shelf you had a video on from 2x12 and metal pipe and flanges and shortened from 8 to 6" height in between shelves and made it a shoe rack for the closet area and my wife loves it! Now I have people wanting them...lol...Thanks again for the great videos.
I love what you've made. Do you have basic instructions for adding two doors that open from the middle?
easy peasy lemon squeezy...... guess what my bathroom is getting???? thanks for the real easy methods you guys use.....
Thanks for watching!
