Hi Becky from England. Minds think alike even thousands of miles apart. I have spent most of today doing pasta, chili, and ragu sauce based meals to freeze. I have been making lemon Basil and Olive Oil Paste for years. Some time I will put grilled Shrimp on top. The Red Pepper flakes gives it a special goodness 😊
Hello Becky. I just have been loving watching your videos. I’m a stay at home mama, and I’ve been saving some of your recipes. I made the carrot loaf recipe yesterday, so beyond yummy!!!! Thanks for sharing with all of us 😊
Oh my word! I tried watching other cooking videos but your videos Im actually learning from your videos because it's you love cooking. You cook fresh most of your ingredients...thank you so much
Thank you Josh for the taste testing of these pasta dishes! It's always nice to have a gentleman's opinion on the different dishes. Blessings to your wonderful family!
If you add little water to the bacon it helps render the fat and when it cooks of the bacon browns very quickly. It works really well when making bacon bits, I cover the cut up bacon in water and it let it cook.
Easy meal my mom uses to make, and I love it. which is sausage, carrots and potatoes throw it all in a roasting pan with some vatable oil and put it in the oven and let it cook until you think it's done. I love my moms dinner like this always look so forward to it coming home from school. smells so good.
The lemon caper looked the most interesting to me. When I went to the link to print the recipe and saw where it originated, I knew it was going to be fantastic. I’ve been following Sip and Feast channel for awhile now and he has some very good recipes.
Love these weeknight Dinners, Becky! And thx for your extra helpful hints and tips as you go… ex. Why you like cooking the bacon in a stainless skillet!!😍

Hi Becky, I vote 2,3,1,4 capers and I don't do well. But the rest look delicious. And Your right my pantry has most of the ingredients. Thanks so much. Fast and easy.❤❤❤
I thought for a second you were saying you were going to make Tomato Gravy and Noodles! I thought, Woah there Becky, that's an acquired taste and should be made off camera! I ate it nearly once a week for most of my childhood (a poor Southern food) but my kids won't touch it! 😂
Add some bottled artichokes with a splash of the marinade in which it comes to your sauce in your vegetarian pasta. My wonderful husband adores it. We aren't vegetarian but meatless Monday makes me creative. He says in 43 years of wedded bliss he has only had 3 meals that he found inedible. I rarely cook with Vietnamese flavors, but on those 3 occasions he took the family out to dinner rather than eat the Pho, the Vietnamese crepe and the pad thia (it's because fish sauce smells SO BAD when you first use it in the dishes). I'll never tell him what it is that puts him off so much because the kids, grandkids and I will eat that food for lunch the next day. He even eats the pad thia the next day because the smell is gone.🤣😅😂. I love watching your channel. I think your family is adorable but miss seeing your husband, Josh. I can only suppose he is caring for your son while you record. Your parents are adorable as are your in-laws. Keep moving forward because so many people enjoy you and your projects.
Been enjoying your videos and have gotten so many great tips from you! Here is a tip I would love to share with you, always wait for the water to come to a boil before adding your salt. If you add salt to the cold pot, the salt will go straight to the bottom of the pot or pan (sink( and eventually you will see 'spots' when washing out your pot from the salt sitting down there. When poured into the boiling water, it will automatically mix in and dissolve :)

Viewers, you don't have to buy the best ingredients possible. If what you can afford is the cheapest of ingredients, then get the cheapest of ingredients. Cooking from scratch is almost always healthier than fast food regardless of how much money you spent on sausage and broth, and you're doing your best and it'll still taste fine.
