I witnessed one of these XC and the longer version in extended usage. Very impressive suppressor. Looking forward to having one. Id highly recommend these in a big way
They are very impressive, I was blown away during our testing and evaluation.
Back ordered for 4 months. Hoping to get mine in soon
Really want one soon. Beautiful
It's awesome! You'll love it.
That's pretty smooth.
Silky Smooooooth.
Dead Air is awesome
They make awesome silencers!
Looks like a pretty sweet can. I've been keeping an eye out for one of these since I first found out about them but they're always out of stock; everywhere I look. I really hope they start ramping up production...
They're available for reservation now!
@@SilencerShopBut when will they actually be available? They've been up for preorder for quite a while
With a direct threads muzzle adapter on it, is it lighter than the Scythe with a muzzle adapter?
The Scythe is a couple ounces lighter with the DT mount.
Has silencer shop even received any of these yet?
Set to get more soon!
😊
🙌
Velos lbp 5.56 re stock when?
Fingers crossed we get more soon.
When are they available ?
You can reserve one now!
@@SilencerShop Reserve one for when? Are they coming in to stock soon or 2025 (like the Aero thread adaptors)?
@@davehedge5044don’t hold your breath
Would be nice if they made a stainless steel version
Maybe!
The standard stainless nomad is still fantastic
I’m a DA owner and the way they handled their recent issues was… lacking.
I encourage my friends to consider other brands
Also a DA owner. Buy Thunder Beast
I don’t think this can would be good for an AR 15 , made out of titanium
It sounds great, but definitely optimized for precision guns or 300BLK ARs.
After the sierra5 debacle, I’ll pass
The sierra 5 was welded. This is created with DMLS. Not even in the same ballpark.
@@MossyOakFreak not about the construction, it’s how they handled it.
@@kellykrueger1822 the original warranty manager under that program has been fired. I'm a dealer and I send back more cans than anyone in this comment section. I've never had a problem with DA. Most cans are coming back from repair within 2 weeks right now.
Why
@@williamboggs1682 on a welded tubeless design like the Sierra each baffle is laser welded to the next baffle. If the surface isn't perfectly clean, if the welder isn't at the right temp, if something is just a 1/16" off the weld can be compromised. If you were to burn a welded can until failure it would fail at the thin welds. DMLS is basically a giant tube of pure weld. Each particle of material, think of it like fine sand, is printed together. There are no welds to fail. It's almost impossible for things to not be concentric. It's basically a solid block. If you were to try and burn a DMLS can to failure you would have to superheat the material until it goes past it's heat treat and becomes brittle enough to crack. Which in the case of 3D printed Haynes 282 you will destroy your firearm first many times over before you got a 3D printed can to do the same.
After all the Sierra 5 issues..nope.
It’s a completely different can, made by completely different people, using a completely different process.
I haven't heard anything about this. What happened?
I have one and it works great. I think they’ve got them all fixed now. Haven’t heard anything. You know that the ones they’re selling now they’re gonna be good because they don’t want no more problems. Customer service will always be an issue with stuff like this because of the legal process and lawyers involved and people afraid of getting sued. You can sue a ham sandwich now not make excuses Dear Air why they didn’t address this, but you know it’s probably due to lawyers.
@@TheEDCTribedifferent people huh? You know this for a fact?
@@1stidvet553 yes.
It’s a completely different design, look at a nomad cutaway vs a Sierra cut away.
It’s made by different people, KGM was contracted to build the Sierra, they’re not making the Nomads.
The Sierra used traditional Inconel baffles, this uses DMLS titanium.
They couldn’t be more different.
Friends don't let friends buy dead air.
They have been great to me every time very satisfied with Dead Air
