Do you know what caused the baffle/end cap strike? Were you using the direct thread mount? Did Dead Air say how they fixed the warping? Always good to know more about baffle strikes because it could be any of us the next time. Really impressive turn around time by Dead Air.
What rifle is that? It looks amazing. (5:44) Why didn't you cerakote the scope? I don't know if it's possible, but it would be awesome if you could take a sound reading at the target facing the silencer.
Typically it’s hard to tell how quiet suppressors are through video, but it’s really coming through with this one. That’s a nice setup. I don’t do any long range but question, the ammo you’re using is super Sonic?
Not subsonic! Factory 122 gr 6.5 creedmore 2900 FPS. I think very few companies will have a factory subsonic 6.5 creedmore. defeats entire purpose of the cartridge. Hornady is probably Co. makes subsonic 6.5 CM.
Just a quick suggestion I think would make your content next level and be able to see what you are seeing to keep watchers engaged: purchasing a triggercam scope camera! That way when you’re talking we can see what you are seeing! Love your stuff man!
@@jt2475 i want THE best sound suppression for the 7.62x39 and that’s what the nomad L does. The nomad L has a bigger diameter then the sandman which equates to lower decibel levels. The sandman can withstand a lot of abuse. full auto on sbr’s but doesn’t have the sound suppression of the nomad L.

I sent my Sandman L for end cap strike and they replaced the internals. They had it back to me in a week..

No details on the repair, it happened with the 7.62x39 and the can was loose.
I’m at 9.34 @ a grand with 6.5 ar 10 22” barrel 147 eld match. Can sounds great how does it compare to the TB ultra 7?

He probably had it on direct thread , shouldn’t get one if you use there QD system on a key mount muzzle device
