Very real down to earth guys. Good video. The whole conversation with all 3 felt positive and sincere. They are right; Silencershop is a good/easy company to do business with and don't procrastinate on buying a can. Get one, wait, wait some more, get another one while you are waiting, wait more. Pick up can, repeat.
You have single handedly decreased the sell of glock mags all while making all of us switch to proprietary magazines. I love you too
These guys are awesome. Great video. This is how all booths should be at SHOT. I just moved to a free state and I know now where I'm going for my first silencer.
I just bought my first can yesterday. The ease of it all is no joke. Quite Riot was my (SilencerShop)distributor. My first trip there ever and the guys there were Great. The whole process took maybe 20 minutes. Now all I have to do is Hurry Up And Wait.
Glad to see the Pappas is just as annoyed by that wannabe meme of a question as I am.
I swear this guy should always be interviewed. I want to go to SHOT just to see him
Sadly, I've been procrastinating on my stamp collection for quite some time. As a new years resolution I've decided to change that!
Do it man! You will be glad you did. The time flies by whether you do it or not. Atleast when you get there you will have your cans.
@@al1engreyassh0le4 Yes sir! I'll be buying another one later this month.
@@elbryan9 ive been procrastinating on building my 300 blk out rifle. I think its time! AAAAnd a New Thunderbeast….lol
Use your tax return. Nothing like using the money the government is giving back to you after they took too much for too many taxes to pay for a tax that shouldnt be there in the first place.
Logan Cressler great reason!
I wonder if I can write it off as business expense?
I wonder what the difference in back pressure is between the Sandman and the Nomad?
Dead air should include the qd mounting system with all their products like they do the sandman line. Very misleading for example on the Wolfman when you’re told it will do this that and the other thing, but the reality is it won’t, with out dumping more money into it since it only ships with a direct thread insert that doesn’t work for half the calibers the can is claimed to work on.
Mike Pappas is literally my idol. I only can wish that whenever I’m that age I’m that cool. I’ve had the pleasure of talking to mike several times and i can’t help but respect the hell out of him. Nomads a great can too! Love mine!
I would love to put a can on my guns, but first I need to finish school so I can get some actual money to buy some.
Vaun Killion
Hey man I was in the same boat. What this time does allow you to do is have everything planned out to a T
So what is the process of buying a can again? do you have to choose what can you want and pay for that upfront and then do the fingerprints and stamp? Or can you do the fingerprints and stamp first while you're deciding what can to get and possibly saving up for a 1,200 can system?
You buy a silencer, then submit the paperwork for that silencer. Wait, then receive your can. Because it is your property once you've paid for it, dealers who have an indoor range will often let you shoot your silencer while you wait, but it must stay under their control until you get the stamp.
@@chopinbloc hahahaha! "It's your property once you've paid for it" yea thats why the government can tax it, make you wait, and at any time outright ban them.
Excited to try y'alls product. Hopefully I'll get it by deer season not holding my breath though
When will the sandman S be available again and off back order?
Mikes definitely had a few, but I don't think it was energy drinks.
I'm up to 10 months now. I wont but another one. I'll just have one made for me instead. It's a lot of money just to wait a year.
I just want a suppressor that doesn't cost me my first born child....
@El Mostrito nailed it. We need to stop settling for politicians who will only screw us a little and start electing politicians with a history of aggressively fighting for our rights. And we need to crush gun laws in court.
The po boy is $200.
Yhm
El Mostrito yea if that ever happens (which it won’t anytime soon) then Suppressers will be back ordered for a long time.
Imo Suppressers are like optics, spending money to get good ones is well worth it. They’re not that expensive when you think of all the R&D and understand what goes into making a good one. Yhm is making great cans that are super cheap. If you only value your first child at $350 then I feel bad for them.....
Skip cinematic 2:15
I'm seven months into waiting for my silencerCo omega 9k...😤😤😤
I think he touched the fridge he wasn't supposed to touch.
Dead air guy always seems loaded and while I am sure fun to hanging out with he hasn’t provided any info in any videos I have seen.
I love Mike so much lol get all amped up and ask for money on the corner.
Is it allowed for a person to buy more than one can at a time? Or do I have to buy one can wait until the paperwork is processed (aprox 10 months) and then buy another?
It is totally allowed for you to buy more than one can at a time.
SilencerShop needs to show us / allow us to filter cans by whether or not they are user serviceable.
Lol I was searching for this Friday
Pappas is the man. Good chemistry in this interview. I guffawed at the classic "it's been a long day" trade show excuse being deployed in the morning for the at-home audience. Dead Air makes quality products and Silencer Shop eases the pain of the NFA process for their customers.
I hated remembering that there's no longer any way to legally purchase an NFA item without being fingerprinted like a criminal anymore due to 2016 "rule changes" (legislation by royal decree) from the end of the Obama administration. Looks like Trump's never going to do a damn thing to "rule change" and "executive order" our freedoms back. If you worked for the government there's a good chance you've already been fingerprinted as a job requirement (military service, etc.), but I've managed to avoid it over the years it even while obtaining a concealed carry permit just by making a conscious effort to avoid being fingerprinted when there was an alternative. I'd rather not permanently surrender my privacy to the government and make it easier for them to track and arrest me. I'm not planning to commit criminal acts, but I'm also not fool enough to think that a government would never seek to arrest good moral people. Continuing to be able to buy silencers is probably the one thing that is going to make me finally surrender my prints to the federal government. And when I say "surrender to the federal government", my voice could not have more contempt in it.
It's just too damn restrictive to limit myself to shooting unsuppressed out of homemade or secondhand firearms in order to be totally off the record. I'm being pushed into registering myself as a gun owner by submitting Form 4473s and fingerprints. I suppose it doesn't matter since if we're politically active as we should be the government already would have no trouble finding evidence to assume that we're gun owners. It's better to be out in the open now, advocating and not further restricting our armament, supposing that if it becomes dangerous to be known as a gun owner then it probably won't make much difference if we registered or were known to be gun owners since states and their people will be actively resisting tyranny. We've got to be out in the open to have a chance at preserving our rights. And then if they come for us to oppress us, it will be many millions of us together demanding our liberty be respected.
I don't own a silencer and havent started the waiting process, because they cost way too Efing much. For that kind of money I can buy a shit ton of ammo for training, or take a few firearm classes, etc etc!
or buy a new rifle, or a new handgun, or a million other things. $800 for a small tube that goes on the end of your gun. There's a reason you can buy titanium solvent traps for $300 but a Ti Silencer is $800-1100. Government regulation BS and these companies just put up with it anyway
Everyone thinks Andrew is saying "I love you" as a silly sign-off, when in reality this dude knows his wife is watching and is talking to her lol
I thought he was talking to all of his fans.
I'm really lonely again.
This guy drinks obviously he is hungover at 11 am
