i have no idea why im so interested in vacuums
Same here. But his reviews are just amazing...
I came to the conclusion that I’m interested because it’s a mostly nondescript and often not thought about home appliance. Most people go though out their life not considering vacuum quality or thinking about the technology that makes it. I find that interesting. It’s interesting to discover the workings behind a such a common household product.
Plus I just like having clean floors and this channel helped me understand how to best achieve that.
It's at the forefront of tech for the home. The technology is innovative and impacts us In a physical way. One of the few things you can buy that's worth ever penny.
Who else is low key super excited for this vid?!?!
Vacuum Wars has turned us all into vacuum fetishists, myself included! 😂
Me me me!
No low key. I'm straight buzzing.
Didn’t know they had such a big vacuum convention but I’m all here for it can’t wait to see next years
I know I've been waiting to see a video from vacuum wars on CES just to see the new robotic vacuums coming in 2024.
My wife thinks I'm mad.
The idea of a dehumidifier that uses the water from the air to clean you house is freaking NUTS! I hope it works as good as it sounds!
It's really power hungry. But robot use few water, so it can do the trick!
Every time someone tries to repurpose a dehumidifier it fails. It’s a dump idea. Space they used to include the dehumidifier, they could have just had a bigger tank 😂
It’s not going to work if you aircon running.
The water from dehumidifier is really dirty
@@xQKUg9SThe only reason it would be dirty is if the surfaces it collects on and in are dirty. Dehumidifiers are not made to be food safe but the water from them is more than fine to clean with. It's just water.
@@xQKUg9S He stated in the video that they were distilling the water before putting it in the system, so no, it wouldn't be dirty. In fact, it's probably a really great idea as it won't do water stains as it dries up from the minerals in the water. I'd like to see him review it if it really makes a difference
Wow, cool to see that there's an entire section at CES dedicated to vacuums! The last time I bought a vacuum, iRobot was the only name in robot vacuums and Dyson the only one in cordless. Competition is great for the consumer! 🤠 Looking forward to detailed reviews on these products from Vacuum Wars in 2024! ❤
iRobot wasn’t the only one, they didn’t even make the first robot vacuum 🤓
For years I’ve been saying they should put water lines and a central vacuum hook up on them and I’m so happy they have started to
I wish i could get that roborock shown on here with a central vac port. I would be in heaven
I guess it's time to design a permanent place for docking stations while planning new flats/houses for water and waste connections.
@1:55 as a Roborock Q Revo owner I can say that this feature (start with vacuuming the carpets/rugs before washing anything to keep the mop dry) is already in the current software and has been for quite a while. I bought mine in august last year in France and the app had this feature. So this is not new at all, at least not for the Q Revo.
It’s absolutely stunning to me how advance these systems are getting. There’s so many impressive innovations from so many different companies. I can’t wait to see what your testing reveals.
yeah but do they suck?
More robot vacuums should use bagless docks! I don't want to keep buying consumables.
Wow, haven't heard Eureka's name in a long time. Great to see some pretty cool innovations from them.
I'd hope Vacuum Wars tests the Innova by Eureka.
Yeah - it will be cool to see what it is able to do!
They got bought by Chinese company Media. That’s why
Yep, I am sure that Midea has gave it an helping hand 😂
Looks like Roborock implemented many features from Dreame L20! Good to have constant innovation!
Great coverage. I have to get out to CES next year, however I was still covering it from home. Roborck sure has some impressive machines. The Tineco S7 Combo is strangely missing heated drying for $899. That disappointed me in my testing otherwise excellent water control. The Dreame X30 is a slimmed down L30 Ultra. I have it and will review it when they enable it in the app. It will be interesting to see how Samsung and Eureka price their models. I guess later this year we will see robots pass the 2k mark.
Direct water and drainage hookup is definitely more efficient than recycling.
I remember subbing to you when you had about 1,100 subs. Look at you now! Congrats on all the success, and a big thank you for keeping up with running a super detailed no BS review channel!
Thank you too!
How long until an all-in-one unit also: washes my dishes, takes out the trash, washes my clothes, prepares meals, goes to work for me, and ..., seems really possible as these continue to be perfected.
I'm excited and can not wait for this to be possible so more people can spend more time with kids, family and friends and not have to live in such a hasel of hustle life. Now, I just have my live-in CEO housekeeper, and it's fantastic. They will be so much happier when all this is out there. Haha. That's a significant update, as always, CW. Thank you.
The samsung navi bot I forgot what exacte model had auto empty without a dust bag and the flexy arm thing in 2012
Eureka appears to be doing the thing I'd like to see on a Dyson. For a few years, I've been wondering about the feasibility of having the canister low to the ground and able to be shifted and taken off for other things, particularly in the many reviews that Vacuum Wars has done discussing how the weight is at the top with stick vacuums. It's one of the reasons I still use the upright and not the stick, though I've keep trying searches to see if anyone had cobbled one together out of pvc pipes or something.
5:19 love that! 😄finally a robovac with cyclonic unit in the dock instead of bagged system! 🥰
Can you make a video with your opinion of the best bagless vacuums? Thank you for sharing.
Great coverage, thanks so much for putting this together. What an exciting time for robot vacuums, can’t wait for your upcoming testing of some of these models!
Thank you!
1:08 Vacuums of the past have had pop out side brushes. The first one that comes to mind is the Samsung Navibot CornerClean from 2013.
Actually, Roborock is not the first to come with this corner-cleaning edge brush feature, back in like 2013 there was the Samsung Navibot CornerClean which had like the exact same thing. It was more a gimmick back in those days but now I believe it will actually make a difference.
didn't lg do that too?
Dreame L20 ultra is the first one that does it extremely well. I got it and have been using it for 4 months.
Never been so excited for vacuuming tech. Thanks for the coverage.
Our pleasure!
Were there any improvements to the auto empty dust bin in the VMax Ultra? I have the 7 and my only complaint is that it doesn't work great on long coarse pet hair. Our Husky's hair just does not suck past the roller when it empties so I have to manually empty it every time. When she blows coat I have to pre-vacuum/sweep any clumps before I run the vacuum too.
I love how these companies are able to keep innovating year after year.
So, I guess what you're telling me is that the vacuums at CES this year were "interesting"! Great video as always!
Thank you! 😊
Can't wait for all the awesome videos you'll be making about these!
Same here!
Very nice video, thanks a lot!!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for bringing us lots of the latest coverage from CES. That's amazing. Look forward to your further review!
Ive been waiting for a bag less high end vacuum for a while. Happy to see there will be robot and regular vacuums that offer this. I just want to have a quick cleaning run and go on with my day and I dont want to have to pay for more bags.
EDIT: the new 2in1 Samsung robot vacuum isn’t the first 2in1 from Samsung, TECHNICALLY
The original Samsung Navibot models from 2010 came with a mop (a literal swiffer)
For those who are wondering, the extending sidebrush isnt really a new thing, it was introduced by Samsung on Samsung Navibot S Cornerclean around 2013-2014 if I remember correctly, and has been continued by Toshiba with their newer robot vacuums.
Also another thing, how come roborock keeps adding more powerful motors yet it doesn’t translate well to CFM? I still find it funny how Roborock S8 has lower CFM than Roomba j9 which has a motor of like a toy vacuum? I hope they improved the CFM on maxv
Lastly, the Eureka E10 is a rebrand of Midea M9, which AFAIK another cheap no name Chinese things that companies put their name on. Not sure about the other Eureka one tho.
Great to see a ton of competition. Only better for the consumer
I bought the Dreame L20 from an overstock guy, only $600 brand new and sealed. Couldn’t be happier. Looking forward to the next level of innovations. If I would have paid full price for the L20 I would have been pissed now the X30 is coming out. My S5 Roborock is still going strong.
X30 is just a minor upgrade, won't upset me too much as a L20 Ultra owner
look at x40:-)
Great video as always! Was checking your channel all week to finally hear about the new in vacuum robots and it was great. Not sure if it’s me only but I would love to also have more uncut videos from you/the team just going through a booth, doing a longer form video or something like that, not sure if it’s worth the effort but just giving an idea
Cool, thanks!
Although tmi, Smart Tango, a robot vacuum cleaner released by Samsung around 2012, was equipped with a pop-up side brush similar to Roborock. It's nice to see this technology again after 12 years.
This was the ces video that I've been waiting for
So glad! Thanks!
I can’t wait to see you review the window washing robot!
The extending Flexi Arm Side Brush that Roborock have isn’t the first one on the market. Samsung Navibot Corner Clean did it first in 2013.
Just found this channel because I needed reviews on my vacuum purchase. Now I doubt I need a new one until many many years from now but when I do it will have some amazing features if this videos is any indication. What a lot of innovation for such an old style appliance
Pretty cool, eh? Hope you enjoy whichever you chose!
Question: all these vacuums which detect how much washing/cleaning need to be done all the demos are on light color flooring will these works on darker floors?
Some interesting tech coming.
Can you shed any light on what the Eureka canister with a power nozzle was at CES? Googling multiple keywords led to no results. Thanks!
I’m really keen on the roborock dock that hooks up to plumbing directly. Did they give any indication on when that might be hitting the market?
You see that PBS has a cartoon for kids called Lyla in the Loop and it's about kids that are obsessed with vacuums and test them out to see which ones perform best.
wow this place looks like a cleaners dream... love all the new upgrades
That corner brush thing was on roombas I had 15 years ago
I think samsung introduced the extensible side brush some years ago (navibot)? 1:06
I’d like to see a comparison of how well these robots navigate in a typical home as time to navigate effects battery life. I have an old Roborock S5 and it takes about 1min per square meter and does my home in about 4 hrs. I recently tried a dreame L10s and it stumbled around like a drunken sailor requiring multiple recharges to do my entire home. It would take all day and into the evening to finish. Not great when the family gets home and it’s still running. This type of comparison is often left out but I think it is an important consideration.
Thank you for all your hard work… heard one thing about Samsungs vacuum on best CES crap channel..… this very in-depth.. keep up the great work
I just purchased the Tineco Floor ONE S5 PRO 2 Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum because you listed it as one of the best it will be here Monday …… I’m soooo like hesitant on if I should return it and wait till April for those new ones to come out 😭🤯……. I also wanted something with steam but now I’m not sure what to do.
This is all so cool! The world really has come a long way when it comes to cleaning...
The steam one from Samsung seems really interesting, I wonder how much it'll cost. Wish it didn't have a camera, though.
This year looks great for robots vaccuum
Fascinating stuff. Slightly jealous of the new roborock features. We have the last flagship and of course it's absolutely fine and does not need replacing yet. So we'll have to wait....
There was fexing arm in an Samsung navibot in 2013 or so. They also had an auto emptying dock in different model back then. this was first when I saw both features and it’s possible that patent for flexing arm is expired by now
I was hoping they would review the new carpet cleaner from kenmore but I couldn't wait any longer and just ordered It off of Amazon today
If the Roborock S8 Ultra was already that good with all those features, i'm super looking forward to videos on the s83 Maxv ultra;
The corner brush and mop seem like great upgrades
Hi, can you tell me a good vacuum cleaner to vacuum the inside of electronic equipment, vacuum the dust that is inside the electronic equipment. It is that I have an electronics company. And sometimes I have these needs.
you need to look at the new lineup of dirt devils released. they added updated features like a felt strip for bare floors. u should take a look!
Please I need suggestions for pet hairy. It’s embedded into my carpet because I have a golden retriever who sheds constantly and 2 cats. Which vacuum is BEST for pet hair???
WELL! It seems there was a lot going on at CES. I look forward to your in-depth reviews. 😊
Thanks!
All these new features... crazy
Seriously!
Roborock & Eureka seem like they delivered the most interesting products this year in my opinion
Sounds like a lot of big changes are coming up. I might hold off getting a new vac
This is what I have been waiting for, The Tineco S12 was an absolute beast, S15 was a disappointment, but this Tineco with The Auto Clean Station will destroy everyone! Every other auto clean station requires you to buy bags, Tineco does not
but that means there's one extra set of filters to clean, in my opinion, the most low maintenance solution would be one of those self-clean docks that flush away dust into the sewage system. But then again I'm a bagged vacuum user for convenience
Are you living in 2005? Who uses a bagged vacuum system anymore haha, and please tell me its not disposable bags where you have to purchase more and more and are corded...@@Kubulek17
You need a Lawnmower Wars channel :)
I have been requesting this for 3 years now. A couple of years ago, the channel responded saying there is not enough competition and technology to start a channel for robotic lawn mowers. Now there definitely is!
Ok kinda random, but I just saw a infomercial for the zippie sweeper and I was wondering if you could do a video on it? I love all or your videos!
Can't make any promises, but thank you for the suggtstion! That really helps!
Est-ce que les aspirateurs traineaux peuvent aspirer très peu d'eau ? (Par exemple de la sauce ou du pipi chat ?)
Hi Nice video dude I love you're channel My Ecovacs N8+ can't be fixed so I'll change it. I was thinking about a DreameBOT L10s Pro Ultra which will be out the 31 of this mont. Do you have any information about this model ?
it's strange that roborock offers the "vacuum the carpet first" function as a new feature. I have it in S8+ from the very beginning and it's called "priority carpet cleaning". The robot always starts with the carpets first and then cleans the rest of the house. (I use the Xiaomi app, not Roborock)
Roomba combo j7 and combo j9 has been doing that since they cameout too.
Narwal solutions seems very innovative. But the disposable bag is not good idea if you have to buy new bags. Nice they added regular robot dustbin. But again, the base itself does not empty the regular robot dustbin. The conical main anti-tangle brush and dirty water sensor are genius!
Hey mate love the videos the best videos about robots always just saw you said roborock had a new feature of vaccuming carpet first the s8 has always had this feature also 😁
it's so cool that you were able to attend! you made it into the tech world :D
I'll be waiting for your hands one review before buying anything in advance tho lol
Thanks! We will try to get those done quickly! We have to wait for them to be publicly available since we purchase everything we review.
any word on 5ghz connectivity? i cannot for the life of me connect a smart vacuum robot because i have google home and cannot manually select the 2.4ghz band to set it up.
Im looking at the Eufy Omni X10. Did you get a chance to see that at CES? Supoosed to be very good and was unveiled at CES this year.
We are looking forward to checking that out!
@@VacuumWars Awesome, looking forward to the review!
Our review of the Eufy X10 Pro Omni comes out today at 4 EST.
@@VacuumWars awesome! Gonna check it out!
Is scrub pad superior to spinning mops? I don't like it very much, I prefer the spinning mops and I expected the S8 max ultra duper ultra came with that
Great recap. Are S7 MaxV owners able to upgrade their base stations? In other words, are the new S8 base stations compatible with the S7 vacuums?
We didn't hear anything like that when we were there.
I appreciate the reply and firsthand information. Thanks for your work. 🙏🏼
Did you get to see the Matic?
Now I just want to see those robots that connect to the water and drain plumbing also be able to connect with a central vacuum system. Then I
wouldn’t have to worry about touching my robot for months! It would truly be the ultimate cleaning companion!
Self washing pads is gonna be the way that will change the Robot vacuum/maps everything. We are almost there!
What a time to be alive
Do you test canister vacuums?
do you test high end vacuums like ....
Would you please test the Simplicity S20EZM
We have some of those - like Miele canisters, ruclips.net/video/EhG-SIwgp6E/видео.html Riccar, ruclips.net/video/9fzz2wSIsOM/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/MVZvRYn6dtQ/видео.html
I don't know if you plan to cover this new and seemingly unique vacuum bot player in a distinct video, but it was not mentioned in this summary: Matic
Hey Vacuum Wars! How long until we see a system that can go up and down stairs. I LOVE the robot vacuum idea but until it can handle several floors it’s just not worth it for me. 😢 Great video. Love your work ❤
Good question, and we don't know the answer! I think some patents have been filed here and there though.
Oh oh... I think I'm headed to an upgrade of... something! lol!
I dont know if Id call bagless an advantage. I dont think Ill ever go bagless again.
Still annoyed that my Bespoke Jet vacuum doesnt also mop! Seems like an obvious missed opportunity.
Darn, I just got one ...
Well my Ambrogio L60 Elite lawn mower just died, only 2 years old the batteries don't like the Humidity and I live in the tropics. But if what you showed us about some of the robot lawn mowers may have Vacuum software, this will perk up my interest, my RoboRock S5 is still sucking really well, now coming up on 5 years old. I'll thank you for this video, many complex vacuums to review, but will they be as good as their sales pitch, Only Vacuum Wars can answer this....Cheers.
Review ecovacs deebot x2 Omni pls
I don't understand why deebot x2 combo exist. I mean, doesn't it contradict the reason of having a robot vacuum
Please consider reviewing canisters
that feature where it can be hooked up to a water line the ecovaces has they don't advertise it or anything but if you go to the back of its base station there is a cap like thing that will pop off and you can hook up a dirty water line and a clean water line
That Tineco looks familiar lol, Dyson gonna be on their case
Definitely has some security concerns from the camera and microphone on some of those Chinese branded systems
The Dyson 360 Vis Nav has a little arm to get into corners and near walls.
It hasn't launched in the US yet so we are still waiting!
We are finishing our review of the Dyson Vis Nav 360 today! Come back tomorrow at 4PM EST for our full review!
@@VacuumWars Thanks for the heads up!
Can you do a review of some bagged and bagless canister vacuums? I am looking for a canister this is great for multi floor and allergies. Do you think you could do a video like that?
It's not in the plan right now but thank you for the suggestion. that really helps.
samsung had a old roomba with extending side bushes!
Will you start to test robot mower too ?
It's not in the plan right now, but maybe we should think about it.
Yay, Narwal finally getting some credit. They have had the best robot mopping system for a couple of years.
You should review the new shark Carpet Xpert
It's just a shame Dreame has such horrible customer support. These new Roborock offerings look interesting though. Not sure it's worth an upgrade from old QRevo unless you really need the better obstacle avoidance.
