Change your life by changing how you speak

- In this lesson, I will show you how the language we use is a reflection of our deeper psychology. For example, if you are the kind of person who always apologises for your “terrible English”, this is going to hold you back in life. Another example happens when people constantly talk about what they are going to do but in fact, they never do it. I will teach you to be much more aware of the language you use so that you can speak in a more powerful way than ever before. When you speak powerfully, you get what you want. If you speak in a weak way, you will never be taken seriously.

The more you know, the more you know that you still have to learn.
you still have to learn
I hate that
Soooo true!
well said
So true
This is the line where language and sociology/psychology meet. Good for emotional intelligence.
"Do you speak English?" - "I like to pretend I do". Helps that I was born in the UK though.
Why the Japanese user name?
@@pauljordan4452 I used to be a weeb and the name stuck, unfortunately.
Usually, I enjoy your lessons but this time I LOVE IT
Hi Jade when I was at school I had a teacher who looked exactly like you .
That is why I like you as a teacher.
I also find your English lessons really interesting and I enjoy watching your RUclips Channel because it helps my conversation skills get better
( This comment is coming from a native English Speaker)
There is an aggressiveness in modern society which doesn't respect people who have doubt - hence you must avoid "should" and "trying to" and so on. But it's bullshit because nobody really knows or can have 100% confidence in everything. I have this problem all the time because I'm being accurate about my uncertainty and people take that as a lack of determination instead of truthfulness.
I agree, it's all about "selling yourself" nowadays. Sadly, we must interact with humans, and humans don't buy arguments, they buy emotions mainly.
Thank you so much teacher Jade for great lesson!l often use the expression " I'm trying to.."when talking about my English learning.l never realized l was expressing a possible failure! Words are so powerful!l will hereafter say:"l m learning English with pleasure and confidence!"greetings from Italy:)

Hello thank you so Much Jade! I can say that my English is bad but being aware that my English is much better. It is kind of giving advantage to someone whose English is really bad to make them feel that their English is well.

Hello I Love your english lesson.
People here in my country prefer to use “trying to “ “hope” “might” etc. they consider these as modest ... And they even think speaking too directly to show your desire is kind of impolite ... those who are just normally confident would be considered as people who like to brag themselves . So it’s so hard to be confident for a lot of people in this environment , also hard to express normally like The positive paradigms in your video , they’re the reasons why the words first come to my mind is “ I’m trying to “ instead of “I can do /am doing” ... and it’s easy to have insecurity when someone tells you that he or she didn’t do well in that exam and then they‘ll get 90+ /100 🙃 . Really hope there’s more honesty . ( see “hope” QwQ )I will change my own problems , I want to heal my insecurity !!! What a culture shock lol
Interesting video. Thanks for your effort.
great life lesson!. thank you. You are a pretty and intelligence girl
Amazing video, you learn well, thanks
That's a really nice video, you were funny speaking such a true! I find so cool when people are funny being serious. I am in the 'my English isn't good team'. Thanks a lot.
Good points!
And I love your dancing! 😉

I'm enjoying to learn everything it makes me more excited I want laern war/psychology/work life and psychology please and also customer service
I think when someone is going to use the " I am doing that or I am already not going to do that " and fail, he/she is gonna go into negative circles
think about how u think or your ways of thinking
Good effort from you teacher
really i enjoy the lesson very much
I haven’t seen them all, but, this is perhaps one of the most interesting of your videos so far, on my humble opinion. 😊

Hi, Jade. Excellent videos. Very nice. You explain really well. I like that you speak in English and add subtitles. 👍
Yah, I agree that many people we meet pretend that they speak English well but actually they're not as good as they think they are.
Hi Jade thanks for your video
Have a great weekend my beautiful teacher 😉🇧🇷
Thank you, miss Jade.
Better say "thank you, Jade". We don't address people by their profession.
@@whukriede Alright, I corrected already.
Thank you.
perfect+++++++++++++++++++thak u so much
best of luck to you
I understand why it's better to say things in a psycological positiviness, just not to block your action. But sometimes is also beneficial express what you think about your behaivior: I should... I have to... I wish... I think it's more natural, first you express this feeling, then you find how to do that, and of course it will be correctly say it as: Yes! I can speak english :)
Your voice is special
Jade, don't be so hard on yourself. Though your London accent is so strong, I can understand 80% of it. 😄🇬🇧
I am from India ❤❤❤❤❤❤
We can suggest life skills to those who are willing to learn or are open to ideas unless we need to appear and sound out of place.
Learning is about liking to live life unless it is about wanting to live life. Liking is experiencing life and wanting is feeling life. Loving is living life and indulging is loving life.
Could you post a video teaching difference between whilst and while?
as a native english speaker, I'm here to watch Jade. i can say definitively that this woman has the most beautiful eyes that I think I've ever seen.
Can you please make an up-date video?About any subject ?
Has anyone mapped out the dialects of the United States with the European influences? For example the Irish and English from the northeast down to the southern states? German and Polish around the Great Lakes, Scandinavia in Minnesota. I find bits and pieces I just wonder if any one studied this. A map would definitely help.
Thank you for getting the mind going 😊
- "Who said it? Your mom?!"
- Nah, my wife...
I missed you Jade.. ☹️
If you put a summary end of the video it might be so effective
this was rather psychological!
when you feel for example wanna go to the bathroom and say: I have to go ...
it's like you're separating your body with your soul cause your body 'wants' the bathroom but you (soul) say I have to go...
this is actually really deep
When do you use the infinite & when the gerund? That's confusing.
I'm going to subscribe your channel one day.
Good in blue 😁😁😁
