This whole Red Rocks show is amazing... They were on that night... The Outsider from this show is well worth your time to check out...
The Outsider is one of the best songs off of Thirteenth Step imo. I haven't seen much of their live footage, I'll have to check this show out.
Led Zeppelin wasn't even the first to do this song. "When the Levee Breaks" is a country blues song written and first recorded by Memphis Minnie and Kansas Joe McCoy in 1929. The lyrics reflect experiences during the upheaval caused by the Great Mississippi Flood of 1927. If you only think Led Zeppelin when you hear this song. You need to look at their catalog and listen to the originals. Zeppelin did a lot of work with black artists from the Blues and Country Genre to help get their music out into the world.

I can't wait till you get further into MJK's third band Puscifer. The other singer in that band is a wonderful female vocalist named Corina. Soooo good. They have live in studio versions of songs on RUclips that are incredible.

APC is one of my favorite bands. Some of Maynards best work IMO. Tool is good, and select stuff from Puscifer I also enjoy. APC just does it for me for whatever reason.

A Led Zeppelin cover, and a damn good one at that! A Perfect Circle, led by Maynard James Keenan, who is also Tool and Puscifer's singer, has an extremely diverse discography!

I prefer APC over Tool personally. This song is great. The Noose is fantastic. Orestes, 3 Libras, and Passive are all must-listens as well.

Gotta listen to the Led Zeppelin version. That's where it's at. This version, to me, falls way short.
Trying to be patient but the first few minutes are too far from the Led Zeppelin version I heard in my head when I read the title.

Yeah. Not a good cover. I like Perfect Circle. This one is Meh. There are much better Perfect Circle songs out there.
