  • Returning to your yoga practice or exercise routine after your baby's arrival requires patience. Your body is reorganizing itself and shifting into it's pre-pregnancy state. Allow time to reconnect to your body; it may take months or even years to heal completely. You will slowly regain your strength and energy as you patiently integrate movement into your routine.
    Join me for this 30 minute postnatal gentle flow. You will focus on releasing tension in the neck, shoulders and spine. These areas are often tight in the postpartum body due to feeding and holding baby. It is important to wait at least six weeks postpartum before doing this practice. Please consult with your doctor to ensure physical activity is suitable for you.
    An optional prop for this video is a folded blanket or towel.
