I went to SMKW and bought my son, who was born in 2022 the Small Swell Center Jack which was the 2022 vault pattern. I picked the Caribbean Blue for him. I happened to see this one in the case on sale. And picked it up for me to have a matching knife. It has become my favorite Case pattern.
What a fantastic pattern…. The Caribbean blue looks gorgeous… Let’s hope Case bring this pattern back into their regular line 🤞🏻 Thanks John, great review 😎🙏🏻
You must be thinking what I’m thinking TK I just did my rough Ryder copperheads last night and I was going to throw up my case copperheads it’s my favorite pattern thanks for the look John it’s a great piece stay well buddy😊
I have the Canoe and the single blade Barlow in this series both are quality knives. Color is great but not a huge fan of the jigging pattern. My favorite jigging pattern Case xx offers is the corn cob jigged in pocketworn. I also like a wharncliffe blade as well. I have a mini trapper with a clip and warncliffe blade and it is pretty sweet. Have a Knife Day.
I bought in heavily when these came out of the vault. Probably bought 90% of them (except for the kitche theme ones). My first ones were a pre-order from Shepherd Hills. This one was the first to hit my doorstep.
That looks like a really nice working knife to me. I've been looking at a Caribbean blue sod buster jr recently but wasn't sure about the colour, but that one looks fantastic TK.
When Case gets it right, they are as good as you can get IMHO. I have a Barlow in the Caribbean blue and was concerned that it may look like an Easter egg before I received it, however it is gorgeous. I just don’t believe the Caribbean blue can be fully appreciated in photos or video, you must actually lay an eye on it in person.
👍 Nice review of this good looking knife. Other than the longer length, which my XL glove sized hands would appreciate, I didn’t really see any quality upgrades over a similar sized Rough Ryder knife. Maybe it is just me, but I believe I would rather have the $40 in my pocket than a Case logo over an RR logo. If I am wrong on the quality I hope someone will explain the difference to help educate me.
@@ThriftyKaniffy Agreed the handles on that knife were very beautiful, but as you pointed out the shield was not seated as well as it could have been and while very slight there was a gap on the spring side of the knife. For $15-$25 that would be acceptable; but for $65, not so much. But your review was very good.
Love the knife but I am not sure about the handle color and pattern combo. Never been a fan of a sky or baby blue and the hard transition is a bit much for me. If the whole thing were the darker portion fading a bit to the edge I would really love it but that is just me. Glad you like it thought and thanks for the review TK.
It's not for everyone. I wanted to have a sample of one, and I don't mind it. I've got plenty of brown knives so a flashy one here or there is a nice change from time to time. Thanks.
Do they make single bladed Copperhead knives? I like the way Case did the Caribbean blue on the Sodbuster Jr a little more (like you mentioned the two different shades is a little more flashy but the dark blue is one of my favorites from Case). Thanks, TK
Also, they are an evolution of the folding hunter, sized down and rounded off. It is the original "trapper". Even Case's version predates the trapper by 20 years or so

Awesome, Anth. Very kind of you. I like the pattern a lot myself. Take care.
@@ThriftyKaniffy thank you it has become a tradition in my family to buy the vault pattern for new born boys.
I just bought my daughter the Mini Copperlock in that handle and she loves it
Very cool, I really like the Case mini Copperlock.
A very nice blue on the scales, and good size knife, thanks for showing it, TK.
Yes indeed, a vibrant color that is done with class. Thanks for watching, Jose.
If that’s not the most beautiful Copperhead in existence then I don’t know what is 😍
Glad you like it, Tank. The blue is very bright.
What a fantastic pattern….
The Caribbean blue looks gorgeous…
Let’s hope Case bring this pattern back into their regular line 🤞🏻
Thanks John, great review 😎🙏🏻
Fingers crossed. Take my money. 💳 Thanks, Sean.
Beautiful Case knife! Love that Carribean Blue Bone! Have a wonderful week!!
Thanks very much, Mike. Glad you like it!

Man you're up late. Must be having trouble sleeping. Cool, I'll check it out tomorrow, Jersey. Take care.

If I ever get the Trapper, that's the configuration I would get. Thanks, HAKD.

Fine choice, Kenneth. The pattern is one I hope they bring back.
Beautiful piece, my friend!
Thanks very much David. A wining pattern fro Case.
Another beautiful case! I really do like case knives.
They make some incredible handles don't they? Thanks, Frog.
Very nice, thanks for sharing TK, be safe.
James, thanks for enjoying the video. Be well.
Fantastic score on that one TK! Looks great!! Love the bone the size and the blades! Hopefully they bring this pattern back.
That would be great I'd like to have a shot at more of them. Thanks, Andrew. 🔪
Very nice copperhead. Thanks for showing it.
Glad you enjoyed the review, Dean. Thanks for watching.
Great video TK , thanks for the video. Good looking Case knife 🇺🇸
I really like the pattern, here's hoping they make it more available. Thanks, Prop.
Awesome Copperhead…beautiful blue bone
Thanks, Georgia. Have a great day, buddy.
@@ThriftyKaniffy You to TK
I ran a knife store years ago - Everytime we got those in those would sell out quick - great looking blade my man 🍻🔥💯💥
I can see that. Seems like it'd be a pattern that met a lot of people's needs. Thanks, Chad. 💯
Man, that thing is beautiful and that wharnie blade sets it apart!! Thanks for sharing this one!!
Glad you like the copperhead, Jerry. It's a great pattern.
Really good looking copperhead! Great video as well John! Hope you doing well!
Feet bothering me as I type this. Thanks for having a look Randy.
@@ThriftyKaniffy Sorry to hear that. For me it's all the time, just different degrees of pain haha.
That looks like a really nice working knife to me.
I've been looking at a Caribbean blue sod buster jr recently but wasn't sure about the colour, but that one looks fantastic TK.
It's a vibrant blue, but it reminds me of the ocean and that's a relaxing thought when it's pissing down. Thanks, Mikey. 🍑
Great looking knife. thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the support. Glad you enjoyed the Copperhead, Stan.

It definitely looks best in person. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Jeffrey. It's a great pattern.
Really love the case Wharncliffe blades 👀 excellent review John 🔥
Very much Slippy. It's a pattern that I really enjoy in both blade versions. Thanks for all you do.
👍 Nice review of this good looking knife.

Case does handles better than nearly anyone. That's my attraction to them. RR is tough to beat, and can;t be for the money alone. Thanks, Brilliant.

Absolutely.
Nice for sure.......but for using, I'll stick with Rough Ryder . Great review. 👍
Thanks for having look anyway, Michael. 👍
That Caribbean Blue is beautiful. 🔥🔥🔪
It's very vibrant and nice. Thanks RG.
Awesome Copperhead, love that bone
It's a great sawcut on it. You either like the color or don't , not much in between thinking going on with it. Thanks, Georgia.
Neat looking colors. Nice looking knife
Thanks very much, Jeff. Take care.
@@ThriftyKaniffy you are very welcome John. You as well
Rough Ryder has nicer packaging.... lol. Nice knife Thrifty.
Facts! Thanks, Ed.

Yes they do, but it's been a while I believe. Thanks, ElCap.
I stock a Caribbean blue truss lock. It is very pretty.
Good to know, Micheal. Thank you.
I went out and bought that knife. Flashy but I think I will love it👍🏻
Good that you could find one. Thanks, AK.
Pretty blue.😊
Thanks, Michael. It's a winner of a pattern.
Very nice 👌
Thanks, EDC. Have a greet day buddy.
Love that bone. 🌊
Case does a fine job with sawcut. Good to see you, Ray. Have a great day.
What makes a knife a copperhead?
The extended bolster which keeps the tangs below the frame. Designed to protect pockets.
Also, they are an evolution of the folding hunter, sized down and rounded off. It is the original "trapper". Even Case's version predates the trapper by 20 years or so
Love that wharny blade too!
And the bone dye is gorgeous.
Good stuff as always brother 👊🏻
Glad to have found an example of this pattern, Tim. I hope they bring it back as it's a solid Case option for an EDC. Cheers!
That saw cut is one of the prettier styles in my opinion! And that blue is absolutely gorgeous! Good one buddy!!👊🏻💯
Thanks 👍Case really knows how to make a knife handle. Superbly done. Thanks H4H. 🔥💯
