Hey John today I Case Marilla Magincut with fat carbon and Case Peanut! Hope everyone at Case is having a wonderful day! Sure was fun meeting everyone at the 3 Case Events I made it to! Got to save up for next year!
I love my 18 pattern stockman in pocket worn old red bone. I've ordered a 47 stockman in the new blue denim laminate! Can' wait. And I just got 5 peanuts for family gifts, all in different materials to suit the individuals. They are beautiful!
Hey John, In my pocket slip today I'm carrying my Case Standard Jigged Purple Bone Mini Trapper I was lucky enough to find at the Case Museum during this year's "Made in Bradford Day" back on 7/17/23 👍🏻💜🖤🗡️!
Exclusively carry CV blades because I use them for real work. Slimline trapper, mini Copperlock are my favorites. Recently took one of the new CS russlock knives out of my collection to try
Sorry… did not have a Case on me today… today I was packing a White River Knife and Tool ATK, and my Leatherman Wave. Great video! Need to do the factories! Love the American workman seahorse!
This was a good video. I would have liked to know more about why you all chose the knife you carry. As employees surrounded by Case knives, you have more opportunity to grab anything you like, so what were the reasons? This could be the base of a video series where you could ask collectors and enthusiasts why they choose a specific model and style. My 12 year old son and I are new to collecting and carrying knives, and Case is our favorite. I only recently started carrying a pocket knife, and feel dumb that I didn’t decades earlier. I think it would be a great marketing idea to do a video series about “Why men carry Case knives.” It wasn’t until I just decided to put a knife in my pocket that I realized how extremely handy they are. My son also discovered handiness when he received Christmas gifts with tricky wrapping or tough packaging. This is something non-users are likely unaware of. I think people who don’t carry a knife may have this idea of “I don’t need to stab things, so why would I carry a knife?” And it might feel a little awkward and intimidating to many because they may be seen as just a weapon. I’d personally like to know more about what each style is for and why some people gravitate toward one over the other. I know a lot is personal preference, but I’m assuming there’s still some basis for their decision. I hope I see more videos like this in the near future.
My go to is a 6375 CV jigged amber bone stockman but I also carry a TB61546 SS jigged molasses bone backpocket, 6249 CV amber jigged bone copperhead, 6137 CV chestnut jigged bone sodbuster Jr., and TB6339 SS olive green barnboard jigged bone sowbelly stockman... but today, I am carrying my recently aquired 61048 ss jigged brown delrin slimline trapper.
I've carried past week mostly Case 6375 amber bone stockman in CV and my yeller 3254 CS trapper.... but might switch today for an blue G-10 seahorse whittler its a very utilitarian pattern.
Let's be honest. All the employees knew they would be on camera for a pocket check beforehand. Lucas even reaches for his pocket before he's told what the visit is about. But the video was cool nonetheless. I'm considering buying my first Case Knife but can't decide what model I should buy.
One blade is not enough. If you dull it before a task is done your screwed. Two blades are enough. Three blades are perfect. 4 blades are showing off. I like to show off. I always have a congress in my pocket.
Instead of pocket checks go to the quality control department and ask them why they aren't doing their jobs. The last three case knives I bought where of such terrible quality that I will buy no more. Shame on you case.
You should check in on some of the guys in the shop too!

Marilla is pronounced Maria. Look up the double LL sound in Spanish!
