    I’m a huge Marvel fan, and MCU fan, however, after 2019, the later movies seem to resemble those exaggerated parody movies the Seven make. Same lines, shots, character dynamics and everything. That’s how the show truly ruined superhero movies since it came out, I remember watching The Flash and I was like “that’s got Vought written all over it” in some parts.

      Yeah, a lot of people like to blame the movies that came after Endgame but to me, I think a lot of Marvel Studios' current issues originate in Endgame.
      That's when Marvel Studios let the audience peek behind the curtain. The world didn't feel real anymore. They chose cheap thrills over real substance that will stand the test of time. I tear up every time Captain America tells Bucky "Then finish it... cause I'm with you to the end of the line" in Winter Soldier. No fan-service, just substance, something real.

      Depends, there’s been some good films like no way home, Shang chi and guardians 3 but everything else is just terrible

      And the MCU has undergone a fall from disgrace since Endgame.

      @@bibing4166 No, it wasn't. The series was part of DC's WildStorm before going to Dynamite Entertainment. That said, it was actually supposed to be set in the DC Universe.

    The moment the MCU became mediocre in my opinion is when they made every damn movie a "guardians of the galaxy". What I mean by that is that it seems like after guardians of the galaxy, every MCU movie became a big colourful space adventure comedy. That works for the guardians of the galaxy but not for shit like Thor or Hulk.

      I like Thor Ragnarok. I don't think the setting of these movies matter that much. The writing just got blatantly lazy.
      A movie people seem to like is Shang-Chi, and I thought it was horrendous. I can't think of something I liked in the movie.

      Yeah, I had to flip the image of that interview with Antony and Karl to get them to match Butcher and Homelander. Turned out nice.

    I mean, Marvel still has some great things on Disney+, and I mean one thing that i totally love is Loki. Other ones are each one worse than previous one, but still Loki is 11/10 for me

    • @TableCreed
      @TableCreed  5 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah, I really like WandaVision and there are elements of Loki season 1 I liked. I think Season 2 was better.
      Besides that though, Marvel's time on Disney+ has been horrendous. MoonKnight is an abomination, and then there's She-Hulk. Falcon and The Winter Soldier is just mid. Best thing about it was John Walker, not Sam or Bucky. I did like Werewolf by Night but I probably won't watch it again. Secret Invasion, another abomination and I never saw Ms Marvel. Doesn't seem like that would appeal to me.

    i never liked superhero movies after the first ironman, but i liked that the boys touch on the superhero personalities and finally feels good to watch, so even if they go b to previous mcu quality i ain't gonna give a damn cause it isn't what i want to see

      Yeah, it was so jarring at first to see these characters be given so much depth. They definitely benefit from existing within a TV show which gives them more time to show these things, but sometimes I feel like Marvel isn't even trying to make interesting characters. They're just like 'hey look, it's this character from the comics, isn't that exciting!?' and they give them the most surface level traits possible.

    The Boys, thats went wrong. They lost their way and The Boys took over with gritty stories.

    • @TableCreed
      @TableCreed  5 месяцев назад +2

      Don't get me wrong, I love how gritty and corrupt the world of The Boys is, but they also put such an intense emphasis on the characters.
      The character dynamics in The Boys is so great. The cast really work well together and they have great writers backing them up.
