This was a balance challenge extreme for me. It will be a challenge to keep trying to get that balance improved for more than 6 - 8 seconds. I added it on to your 70s Dance Cardio. Once more my husband was singing along. 😊

Really appreciate the critical need for including some focus on strength and balance, as well as cardio. Ideally searching for a 30-40 minute beginner’s version of this one. Very challenging 5 minutes for me. I used 1 kg dumbbells and hope that I am still able to move tomorrow. 😂 I felt it in my arms and my shoulders. But at least the balance part was no problem at all. I think, I should be looking for more strenghts workouts. Thanks for this great and challenging routine, Jules!
Another perfect workout for me today, still can’t do too much cardio. Not wanting to break my daily exercise regime, 3 years plus, it was 11:30pm when I did this as I’d forgotten to do a workout earlier in the day.
The power of your instructions, Jules...when you said " it doesn't matter how high you raise your knee", I realised that my foot was just above the ground...but was quickly able to lift the knee higher and balance myself...not perfectly, but hey...just pushed myself a little more...All thanks to you🙏
Thanks Jules for this great workout video. Static balance exercises are fantastic but the dynamic balance exercises take it to the other level as it requires more coordination too. Glad you included light weight too. Sometimes I practice only the static ones with my eyes closed for a few seconds. Thanks again for keeping us motivated. Hi John, the stronger your legs get, the better your balance will also get. I have several leg strengthening exercise videos that will help to improve your balance.
OMG 🤣, having just completed the leg and glutes workout I thought this would be a breeze. It looked like I could have submitted Santa's 5 minute bloopers. I loved the workout but my arms felt like jelly and while yours were out straight mine were close to my thighs. 😆. My toes kept touching the ground like I was playing pat a cake with the floor. I will definitely have to keep doing this until my balance gets. better. Don't worry, I was being careful and had something next to me to stay safe! Have a great day Jules.
Yes, this is a definite repeat play versatile workout, weights no weights, balance no balance...and who doesn't have five minutes? So I did go heavier on the weights today and oh, how appreciated that bit of stretching at the end. Thursday has officially started ☺️

One thing I noticed with this was that I found the triceps one much better wifh lighter weight. Felt more in control of the e exercise.... Does that make sense lol
Absolutely. I use light weights when I work triceps since I find it definitely works them more. When weights are too heavy, other muscles start to take over and the triceps aren't worked as much.

great arm workout. i can balance on my left leg but struggle with right!
It’s quite normal to be better on one side. Ideally, challenge yourself for a few more seconds on your weaker side so it gets stronger.
Very challenging 5 minutes for me. I used 1 kg dumbbells and hope that I am still able to move tomorrow. 😂 I felt it in my arms and my shoulders. But at least the balance part was no problem at all. I think, I should be looking for more strenghts workouts.
