Well, we got our 4 lb weights in and wow!!!! What a difference they made. This was what we needed. The “flutter” with the lighter weights are still the biggest challenge. The first time we ever did the weights behind our head, I couldn’t even do it with the lighter weights. Today I did it with the 4 lb!!!! I was so excited. Great workout, Jules!!
I love ‘hearing’ the excitement in your comment. I think I am equally excited about it! Progress is a wonderful thing (and you got yourself to this point!). I hope you are proud of your accomplishments so far. 💪
I keep forgetting about this little secret one 😂😂😂after full body strength I was going to do it twice, then I had wee ping moment and remembered this. Absolutely brilliant and doing it same day as arms...total arm burn out but amazing. Would love more like this on different areas. Ladies this is so good xxxx
This evening: I can tell in my other workouts that my arms are getting stronger, but wow, now that we have larger weights, I am really being challenged. The hardest part is actually with the smaller weights when we flutter them, and all the other moves where we keep our arms up for a while….my greatest weakness, and glad I’m being challenged on them. Determined to get stronger!
I'm so glad you got the heavier weights and feel you're being challenged. For the fluttering type exercises, definitely stick with the lighter weights, though.
I always love reading about improvements viewers see in themselves from the workouts. Kudos to you for pushing yourself in order to see the improvements:)
You could but there really is no need if you lift the right weight. Ideally your arms should be tired at the end of it. If you don’t have a heavier weight, you could do it twice. Or do the workout, do cardio then do this again. So many options!
It's a great feeling, eh? Well, I think so anyway! It means your muscles are working hard and you are using a weight that is challenging. Just ensure your body is mostly still and it's just the biceps doing the work (no swinging or momentum taking over). If your biceps are on fire, it sounds like you are doing the movement correctly:) 💪
Tonight was our first time doing this one. We only have 2 lb weights, so we used them throughout. I don’t know the names of the different moves, but the ones with your arms outstretched in front of you, “fluttering” we’re a challenge! Will certainly do again. My arms are my biggest weakness, so I will continue to try and strengthen them.
Yes, I agree the 'fluttering' one is tough. When you have time, try to get some bigger weights...you can definitely handle them now for the back and bicep exercises in other workouts.
@@ImprovedHealth , right now, we’re still using 2 and 4 lb weights. That’s about our limit for now, but at some point, if it gets too easy, we’ll get bigger ones. That may be a while….lol
Seriously amazing arm workout . Felt my arms needed more and my word this does the trick. One like this for standing abs or core would be amazing xxxx thank you oh great one❤❤
Where has this been hiding....wow this is an arm workout....that was hard but just doable. I had to stop a few times but I'm aiming to do this every 2nd day to keep what I did with strength training maintained .. absolutely brilliant..you made it look so easy as well...my face was like a 🍅 lol
Lol, I think your face was red like a tomato from the 'power walk' workout.😉 I'm glad to read that you plan to do this often. You'll notice quite a difference in your arm strength if you do.
Jules: As always, curious about your weights. You have a heavy and a light. I’m used to weights with arms workouts but, obviously, we can’t alway use heavy!! Please-your weights you use? Thank you! Love this one!! 💪💪💪
Hi Joann! The black weight is a 5 lb weight and the small one is just 1 lb. You can change the weight to suit you best for the beginning exercises but once we start moving the arms more quickly, stick with a 1, 2 or 3 pound weight...nothing heavier due to the speed of the movements. Hope that helps!
This one for tonight; we’re getting stronger! I used to have to put my arms down for a second or two after the circles, but I was able to keep them up the entire time. Rex was playing “Jumping Jack Flash”; I told him the music helped me make it through…ha ha!
Woo hoo!!! Progress! That's great! And, I'm glad to hear you put on your own music to motivate you (thanks Rex!). I find music makes all the difference (I truly wish I could use whatever music I wanted to in my videos).
I don’t think we’ve done this one in a while. It’s always a bit challenging, making it through all the “flutters!” I remember a time when I couldn’t make it through all of them, but I can now. We use 2 lb weights for that part.
I like this one but find it difficult to keep up the fast pace. I have the same challenge at the gym in the strength training class...I can do the exercise, but I'm usually one or two reps behind the trainer.
Thanks for the feedback, Kathleen. I do have another similar workout coming out Monday but just go at the pace that works for you. You’ll still reap the benefits.
Well, this one was an adventure today. It’s been raining/sort of stormy. Our internet is going in/out, so we thought we’d do this short one. We didn’t make it before it went out again. We just continued and tried to remember the moves. I’m sure we didn’t get them all in precisely, but we still got a 7 minute arm workout. We’re determined this week !!!
I love reading that you're determined this week! Internet issues can definitely be frustrating so kudos to you for having the motivation to try to the video again!
Hi Carmen, yes I definitely recommend stretching after. For biceps, press the arms out to the sides and then in front. For triceps, bring one arm back as if patting yourself on the back and push the elbow back slightly to feel it in your triceps. I don't always include stretching since I don't like to scare people off with the long length of a video but I think you're right that I should include it next time:)
@@MEw650 Lol, I had to look up 'Bluto'. I had no idea what that meant but once I googled it, it brought back memories of watching Popeye and I remembered again:)

We did this one for our evening workout. Always a challenge, but a great workout!!
Thanks, Jules!!
We ended our day with this one!!!!
A lot packed in just a few minutes!

So glad you enjoyed this one...having a good arm burn always feels great (or at least you and I think so!).
I adore an arm burn, so much im doing it again tomorrow ❤
This one tonight; and it’s still challenging me! At least I don’t have to stop the fluttering early, as I used to.
It’s great that you are focusing on getting stronger:)
This one to end out the day and the week. Have a great Sunday…see you next week!!
Thanks Mary. A nice relaxing day today:)
Thank you!
This, this evening; always a challenge, but parts are getting easier.
Another great one, thank you! Always looking for new arm workouts to mix up the routine. 💪🏻💞.
After a lot of cardio this morning, we decided to do this arm workout this evening. Always a good one!
😊
Good Friday morning Jules 🌄☕🌄 I hope you have a fantastic weekend ahead! 🌈💖🌈
Whew!!! Just finished this one. Always a challenge.
Our evening workout; no matter how often we do this, it’s still challenging.
A challenge, but love your videos because they are easy to follow.
Thanks so much, Sandy.
I have struggled to find doable arm exercises, thanks.
I’m glad this one worked for you.

Yes, we did more weights this evening!!!!
Excellent!
Thank you Jules 🙏🙏
Moved up to 5 lbs. from 3 lbs. for the heavier weights today. Think I did fine. Thanks.
Woo hoo! Congrats Donna! It always feels amazing when we know our strength is improving!
Ended the day with this one; it’s been a while!
Wow!! A lot of workout in a few minutes!!
Definitely a good arm workout if you challenge yourself with the weights:)
We finished the day with this one. Yea! We finally got in two in one day again!!!
Awesome! I'm glad you found the time today. I just noticed you have a new picture. It's great (although it's so small I can hardly see it!).
Rex did this one today- I opted out, as I had a good arm workout with the one I did yesterday.
I just love how you both understand the importance of consistent exercise.
@@ImprovedHealth , we have already seen our strength in some areas improving, and I’m sleeping much better.
We ended our day with the good ol’ 7 minute arm workout.
This gem for our evening workout!!
Whew!!!! Done.
This one tonight! Hey, fluttering is getting easier!! Woo Hoo!!
Yes, woo hoo to that!
Great workout!
Our fav….lol!!! Well, it is a good one. Did every single move you made wi to out interruption!!! Yea!!!!
Progress:)
In the meantime…….we did this one….great workout for just 7 minutes!!!
A perfect one to do to allow your knee time to heal:)
Moved up from 1 to 2 lbs. for he lighter weights! Getting stronger! Thank you!

I have to say Thank you for the best workout videos. I love the fact you have 10 minutes and up. Very easy to do and a good workout for me.
Hi Lauren! Thank you so much!
Fun arm workout!
Thanks Shirley!
Then did this today...arms r aching now lol XXX this is brilliant and harder than it looks
Excellent add on to cardio.
Thanks Esther:)
I swear Jules, it's as if you could read my mind!!! This is great!!!😘😘 I love the speed. Could I do this twice in one session??
You could but there really is no need if you lift the right weight. Ideally your arms should be tired at the end of it. If you don’t have a heavier weight, you could do it twice. Or do the workout, do cardio then do this again. So many options!

Our second workout today!
Congrats on getting to two!
@@ImprovedHealth , thank you! Yes! We were excited about it, too!
This one tonight, because we had to squeeze something in really quickly.
Well, we usually don’t do this two days in a row, but because of time constraints today, we did.
I put out a core workout today so maybe you can alternate with that one...it's short, too (15 minutes).
