Maxx do a video on how to do different outfit combinations. Contrasting colors with pants and shirts, how to match patterns, what do you do with stripes on casual button down shirts. Gingham shirts vs. Checkered vs. Twill vs. Solid colors all matching with brighter and darker colors of pants. Maybe pant and shoe combinations too.
As far as undershirts go, you want to wear them. It is not a confidence thing at all, more than likely you will sweat and wearing an undershirt will act as a barrier so your button down doesn't look sloppy with big, wet spots in the arm pits, what you do though is buy V-Neck undershirts so if you leave the top button undone it appears that you aren't wearing one and you don't have contrasting neck lines such as a crew neck undershirt and a V shaped neck of the button down. Also, you say always wear a belt unless you're trying to pull of a certain look. No. You ALWAYS wear a belt. If you're a man, you wear a belt. It's what you do. Not wearing a belt is sloppy. A piece of fashion advice from me would be to wear a brown leather-band watch and not a black watch with that shirt. Your polo logo is brown and you shouldn't clash black and brown. The same way you'd match your belt with shoes, you'd match your watch with your polo logo. The little things like that will go a long way. Last thing, absolutely right with the square-toed shoes. Hideous. Never should've been made.

I was at a business convention a few days ago and forgot I had a t-shirt underneath my shirt cause it was cold. Took off my tie for a dinner and noticed it was visible, but I think it looked nice and matched the color of my shirt. You can pull it off but it's not for everyone.

I think you really missed one vital reason we wear undershirts- the climate some people live in, is horribly cold. We go to work and the workplace/office is trying to save money so they are not running the heating very high. If we just wear a business shirt, we are going to freeze. I wear a long sleeve thermal undershirt under my business shirt every day. Its the only way to stay warm and still wear a thin business shirt.
I like the European square toe shoe. They are comfortable, don't squish your foot and are sharp looking. To each his own. I agree with all other points.
square toed shoes are definitely not fashionable but they fit wider feet a lot better. actually, they fit all feet better. nobody's foot comes to a point like that so you typically will need a longer shoe to accommodate the width of your foot.
Great advice except for #1 Lol. One of my biggest pet peeves is a guy who doesn't wear an undershirt. Guys ALWAYS wear an undershirt!!!!! It keeps your deodorant off of your shirts and body sweat from ruining your shirts and causing those ugly yellow spots. Especially on a white dress shirt.
Pay attention to the video my friend! I state "visible undershirt" ! The key is to not let it show if you do decide to wear one for whatever reason. AKA a deeper V neck undershirt would work if you wanted to rock one 👊🏼
No way a visible undershirt looks awful under a button up. Almost as bad as the collard shirt under a sweater with the collar tips sticking out. Totally unaesthetic.

I don't agree about unbuttoning the second button on your shirt. IMO it looks sloppy unless you are on the beach and you want to show off your chest hairs.
I think not tucking a shirt in correctly is a big mistake. A nice fitting button down should always be complimented by the right tuck! Hate seeing muffin tops and shirts that have clearly been stuffed down someones trousers without any kind of care!
You know at the end of high school you do a photo shoot and a album for memories and feelings when you are older ? Well I wore a button shirt that day and everything went wrong.The jeans that I had on had this rectangle shape on one of my pockets because I always had my phone in my left pocket, It was cold outside and for some reason I sweated a LOT that day and i had a clear pool underneath my armpits.I eventually had to go home and change. Question is, wut do if you are on the sweaty side and you want to wear a button shirt ? I used antiperspirant but it did not help because i sweated soo much.
No undershirt is a good test for the fabric quality of your shirt. If you need an undershirt because your shirt feels horrible to your skin and gets translucent after a measly drop of sweat, you and by that I mean I need to up my shirt game.
Square toed shoes are accurate, unless you live in Texas. Wearing nicer cowboy boots in replacement of dress shoes is the norm, and a slight square toe is what's in there. Literally so man people do that shit there, that being said, I never did.
Is it really appropriate to donate your square toed shoes knowing that who gets them in the donation will be getting a shoe that no man should ever wear and is a fashion mistake? You would be doing better just to throw them away. You are doing more harm than good by donating them.

Not all of those thing are fashions mistakes in my opinion. I think this channel would grow a lot more if it wasnt a "how to look like maxx chewning" channel. Maby educate yourself in different styles so your audience would have more inspiration to try out new things?

Jeans and chinos may need it, cords and moleskins work better with suspenders. And shirt buttons: I would advise buttoning the second button on most shirts unless you're specifically going for a 'night out' look (but depends on the button spacing and collar ofc)
