Yes that band is amazing, they have to learn and master these songs by ear very quickly.

I don't like him because he's made millions, not with brains and talent, but by being a total jerk to the artists he parodies. I don't respect that. I recently watched a Making of Straight Outta Lynwood video and was blown away by Al's musical abilities. That's why I posted that comment.

I haven't seen this video in years and I'd forgotten just how great this is. How can anyone with even a marginal education and relatively normal sense of humor not love and appreciate Al Yankovic? He is the best.

The thing I actually love about Al is that, even though he doesn't have to, since parody is protected by law, he asks the artists if it's okay if he does his parody, and if they say no, he doesn't do it. I actually remember watching, I think it was one of those old Behind the Music episodes, obviously focusing on Weird Al, and Flea said he really thought this song....basically sucked.
If they ever make another Flintstones movie, then they need to use this in it.

Here's why Yankovic is so dangerous. RHCP 'Give it Away', released Sept. 4th, 1991. Yankovic 'Bedrock Anthem', released Nov. 16th, 1993. And it's held up better. Think about that! And soak in the appreciation for everyone. Because one cannot exist without the other. And we love them both.
