The craftsmanship and quality of these amazing target handguns. They run 100,000 to 200,000 rounds. The barrels 50,000 to 100,000 rounds. One owner put 10,000 rounds through his and the interior parts looked brand new. It is just incredible how well made their parts are. You get what you pay for and more. Peace

Cool video thanks. One point on the take up and over travel you mentioned. On a 1911/2011, there must be some pre-travel so that the sear can capture the half cock notch and not slip off. That is critical to a properly functioning 1911/2011. On the over travel, that also must be have a minimum amount so that when the hammer falls the half cock notch does not crash into or rub the sear nose.

This was just such a perfectly done video and explanation as to what this kind of gun is. I’ve never heard of the brand, and honestly the only handgun I really know is my HK VP9. I got into guns initially as kind of a last resort of self protection for me home, but it quickly turned into a hobby especially when I shot my first AR. Honestly I didn’t even know there were builders on this kind of level, it’s good to know when the time comes when I’ve got that experience I’ll know who to look for.

In my experience it was splitting hairs and saying what I thought was better in each. To be honest it wasn’t a fair assessment, because the Infinity was in 40sw. Thanks infinity salesman! I still won't spend several thousand on a 2011 platform but... I now know that there are non competitive shooters out there that are willing to spend way more than they need to, in order to say "my gun's better, neener neener". I get it though. There's no kill like overkill. This video would have been way better if there was more performance shooting and less talking though.

15:45 "My first custom 2011 was 2 years and 11 months." I wonder if that was on purpose or (most likely, I know) just an awesome coincidence, lol. A "2011" in "2" years and "011" months. Heh.

Felt like a movie/video game where the main character goes on a side quest to get ultimate weapon.
    Amazing production quality 👏🏻

My only experience with the 1911 platform happened about a decade ago and was with a few of my dads Kimbers. That dumpster fire of an experience left me avoiding that platform at all costs. I’m currently trying to talk myself into buying a Staccato, I have you to thank for that by the way, but I’m still hesitant on the platform just based on mag issues and some other things I’ve heard from friends. Perhaps one day I’ll pull the trigger, but until then, I’ll be living vicariously through you. Another amazing video, really appreciate the time you guys put into videos.

Mag issues are often due to incorrect geometry of the feed lips and transition from double stack to single stack. Atlas gunworks has some older videos on mag tuning. Includes tools needed, and ideal measurements for both 9mm and 40S/W mags.

My Infinity has a working grip safety. It is tuned to perfection and works perfectly. My flush mags lock back, my extended mags do not.

Please now do a review on the SandHawk from night hawk and do a mega comparison video series.
    SandHawk vs Atlas Ares
    Quantico HiCap vs SandHawk
    Infinity Vs Atlas
Something along the lines of that.

Crispy went crazy on the intro. Sipping my whiskey as I indulge on this quality content. Just grabbed a pair of binos and other night vision gear. My wife is pissed at the obscene amount of money I spent. I want this bad, but I'm pretty sure it will result in divorce.

How u mentioned the extractor and how they did all the work to re-engineer it for millimeters of gain is very true, same with f1 racing. It is estimated it takes 1 million dollars to drop 1 second off the driver's lap time... AND when u watch an f1 race there are as many ppl back home working on the Race as their are ppl physically there at the race working. The have an entire second team as big as the one at the track but they're back in the said teams homeland working the race also
