The craftsmanship and quality of these amazing target handguns. They run 100,000 to 200,000 rounds. The barrels 50,000 to 100,000 rounds. One owner put 10,000 rounds through his and the interior parts looked brand new. It is just incredible how well made their parts are. You get what you pay for and more. Peace
Thanks Syndicate, I thought Infinity was just top end race guns. I had no idea that every gun was a one off and that they made every single part. That is awesome! Jake you are right, while I have a Staccato, I am no where near ready for this gun, even if I had the money set aside for it. Alas, something to look and work forward to. Great job.
yes look at there ig know some people that say they have less recoil just with a short barrel and ports than trs comp and a XC its mindblowing they are evn better than a erebus and you can actually carry them
The first cinematic gun review i have ever seen that made me so emotional to the point of questioning the nature of exitance and what it means to be a human. Okay i am going to donate some money to my favorite charity now..
The advice makes sense. Its like, if a Rolls (any model) is the first car you ever own, youll vever appteciate all of the details in it that makes it so special because you wont have a base of comparison.
I hear Yu about working your way up, starting at staccato, and earning your way on the journey to Infinity , however…i fully and whole heartedly , respectfully, just don’t want to . I sold my car and I’m currently walking to infinity-ville , Texas with my money in hand … thank you for your service sir
I deviated from 1911s for a long time. To me capacity is paramount. I've recently come back to them, and there's a re-emergence of interest for me on classic 1911s. The piece you're rocking, is sexy as hell! Wow. That front sight and slide is crazy!
This has to be one of my top five channels. I’ve been following Jake going on three or four years now , I got one of his 1911 syndicate T-shirts. I wear it with a dinner jacket. My wife hates that lol keep up the great work Jake.
I've worked my way up from Glocks, M&Ps, and H&K. All are quality pistols. However, now I'm shooting pistols by Staccato, Masterpiece Arms and an Atlas Nyx. So, I agree with you totally
Just started my 2011 journey this year with a staccato P. Absolutely loving it and was already looking at SVI’s before i even decided on a staccato to begin with. I want a Atlas, SVI and NHC at some point. No specific order but I will own them.
This intro was just stupid cool. Your videographer deserves a raise! A seriously great review as well. All around the best video you have put out! 👏🏼 Well played Sir!
The sight tracker even for those using dots has a benefit, it lightens the slide and the barrel now essentially has a weight while not really changing the weight and balance of the firearm. Sight tracker barrels and slides are amazing.
I truly enjoy my SVI, it's a beautiful pistol and makes shooting USPSA such a joy. Good luck with your new Roscoe, it should bring you years of smiles.
So: When you've cleaned the KY jelly off your promo this is a Porsche for gun nerds. And similar price point. Wonderful..... Nice to watch your excellent production values.
That opening scene made me tingle a bit. SVI has always been the pinnacle for 2011s. Nice to see them exceed your hopes.. I can only picture the Crabby Gunsmith from Alchemy saying that about Infinity.
Cool video thanks. One point on the take up and over travel you mentioned. On a 1911/2011, there must be some pre-travel so that the sear can capture the half cock notch and not slip off. That is critical to a properly functioning 1911/2011. On the over travel, that also must be have a minimum amount so that when the hammer falls the half cock notch does not crash into or rub the sear nose.
With the quality of the video these guys produce, the production is top notch, it's crazy that they aren't even 100K! I mean i just watch all videos and not look at the sub count. But it blew my mind when i saw this. Guys keep up the good work! Slowly but surely. And shout out to Chris, man of culture, i saw him wearing a Panerai on the last videos. Jake, that Panerai is a bit big on your wrist, still love you tho, no homo.
Would be nice to see the pistol field stripped and the internal parts plus some review of the bushing, barrel lock up, etc. SVI makes extraordinary pistols so more examination of their work would be helpful.
This was just such a perfectly done video and explanation as to what this kind of gun is. I’ve never heard of the brand, and honestly the only handgun I really know is my HK VP9. I got into guns initially as kind of a last resort of self protection for me home, but it quickly turned into a hobby especially when I shot my first AR. Honestly I didn’t even know there were builders on this kind of level, it’s good to know when the time comes when I’ve got that experience I’ll know who to look for.
Fantastic Video, I design cars professionally where we obsess over 1 or 2 millimeters every day. Content like this that can appreciate the fine details are a treat to watch. I had no idea such a pistol existed till your video, I now know what my 10 year anniversary gift as a car designer will be. Thank you!
I did the exact spring upgrades to my prod 4.25 you did after watching this video. Wow what a diffrence. Pistol ru s like a champ. Recoil is alot less . I also installed egw guiderod buffer
So I just recently had an opportunity to shoot an Infinity, Atlas, TTI sand-viper, phenix trinity, and Staccato P back to back. In my experience it was splitting hairs and saying what I thought was better in each. To be honest it wasn’t a fair assessment, because the Infinity was in 40sw. That being said, the tigger was the best on the infinity, but lacking the ports the others shot flatter. Not exactly apples to apples, but it was an awesome experience. Congrats!
Unreal video. I'll never own my dream pistol (infinty) but this video helped me live a dream. I got my 2011 prodigy 4.25 and yes it is one of those pistols that is a formula one that just shoots better then all the other Plat forms so I am good.

That's a nice stovepipe at 41:18. Watch at .25 playback speed. You can literally see the still smoking brass case sticking out of the ejection port. But hey, "No malfunctions".
Way more happening here than needs to be commented on. The gun literally froze heading into that sequence. The oil that was in it froze and I had to work to get it warmed up.

The slow-mo watching the brass sling perfectly from the slide is magical… 🦄 Can I even say that word?? 😅 Picking up brass in the snow sucks, but I’m sure it stacked ‘‘em like shot glasses making it a bit easier. The presentation of the Infinity was on point. Awesome work with the footage as always. 👊

I’m ordering my bucket list gun in January 2025 I retired this year and it’s my gift to myself I can’t decide which one I want but I’m leaning towards a completely blacked out Nighthawk Firehawk single stack in 10mm but I just watched your video on the Quantico Hi Cap Carry from Alchemy and I really love the look of that pistol I don’t normally care for double stack 1911 but this one looks amazing
looks like it shoots amazing. the ejection looks a little soft. ive never owned anything even close to that nice, so idk if that just comes with a super soft shooting gun or what. but that thing look like a masterpiece, the machining looks so precise. awesome review man!
Well, apparently I like really long and detailed videos about 1911s now. Great channel ! Beautiful gun on this one and now I have to actually decide between an Infinity or a Nighthawk. Oh, and build a budget for this gun.
BRAVO! What an outstanding video. I concur with other comments about the production quality. Thank you for creating outstanding content for enthusiasts.
Thanks infinity salesman! I still won't spend several thousand on a 2011 platform but... I now know that there are non competitive shooters out there that are willing to spend way more than they need to, in order to say "my gun's better, neener neener". I get it though. There's no kill like overkill. This video would have been way better if there was more performance shooting and less talking though.
15:45 "My first custom 2011 was 2 years and 11 months." I wonder if that was on purpose or (most likely, I know) just an awesome coincidence, lol. A "2011" in "2" years and "011" months. Heh.

How u mentioned the extractor and how they did all the work to re-engineer it for millimeters of gain is very true, same with f1 racing. It is estimated it takes 1 million dollars to drop 1 second off the driver's lap time... AND when u watch an f1 race there are as many ppl back home working on the Race as their are ppl physically there at the race working. The have an entire second team as big as the one at the track but they're back in the said teams homeland working the race also

You can always find another wife homie 😂😂 thanks for watching
How u mentioned the extractor and how they did all the work to re-engineer it for millimeters of gain is very true, same with f1 racing. It is estimated it takes 1 million dollars to drop 1 second off the driver's lap time... AND when u watch an f1 race there are as many ppl back home working on the Race as their are ppl physically there at the race working. The have an entire second team as big as the one at the track but they're back in the said teams homeland working the race also
It’s a great comparison
