- This 30 minute Yin Yoga practice is a perfect deep stretch class that not only releases sore and tired muscles but also excess emotion and negativity stored inside your body & mind.
Through the yin practice of holding yoga asanas for 3 minutes each, this at home stretch will slowly allow your body to surrender to relaxation, mindfulness, and return back to deeply rich grounded presence.
This practice is all about slow and steady conscious breathing as well as listening to your body and watching your mind. There is a innate balance that will slowly reveal itself to you. Do not force anything. Just let it all come forward and find stillness inside of it. That is where the great benefit will be found.

WHAT IS YIN YOGA?
Yin Yoga is a style of yoga practice that targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice.
Suitable for almost all levels, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.

What kind of tears were they? Did you gain a flexibility/feel a muscle you never felt? Or just emotional life tears? (Not hating never, I cry a good amount trust me, just not that often during yoga, so I'm trying to figure out what that means)
@@alexgee1975 Quite normal that people are crying in yin yoga classes. It' s because of releasing the stress, collected in a muscle often since decades. Letting go...that's the reason. Kind of saying good-bye to a lifelong tension.

I am speechless. I'm so grateful for this practice, I needed something to stop me to ground me and I was looking for something like that for a couple weeks. So many emotions came to me during this practice. It is the oddest feeling that as a person who always tries to make conscious decisions I sometimes forgot about myself to really met with myself and see where I am and how I feel. i have had a very hard day, week, month, couple of years. today was one of the harder days and i don’t even know why. i was about to go back to tiktok and hate my life and be jealous of others but then i decided to click on this video and somehow you were able to dress my emotions into words and when you said that we always either think about past or the future i realized that i had never just been in the moment. i started crying like i never cried before because i realized how negative person i really am. im never contempt and i am always waiting for something or regretting something i did in the past. i was also so so angry and i could literally feel the anger and regret leave my body when i just breathed thru the positions.
Ask yourself if what your doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow 🙏🙏
I ask myself, "What will you allow to continue?" ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Thank you for talking about acceptance of negative emotions/feelings during our practice. Sometimes when I "still" my mind during yoga I start to experience inner fears and anxiety creeping up. That always troubled me but today it was very reassuring to learn that this is OK to accept and embrace that energy as a part of our body releasing it! Thank you for everything you do. This was a very beautiful and emotional flow.
The rollercoaster of emotions I go through while doing this. A lot of anger, pain and sadness breaks through when I do the poses, but it's all worth in the end when all the gratitude of the world fills my heart for doing this practice. Thank you so much 💗

Yoga practice is my church! Especially my outdoor sessions! With winter looming around the corner I’m wondering what some ppl do to practice comfortably outdoors? This will be my first winter being as dedicated as I am to yoga! I practice daily, many times 2-3 Xs a day! I work, but I wake up at 5am just to have time for a 20 min practice! When I oversleep a little I at least do 10 min or whatever I have time for. My wake up routine is the most important one for me & sets the tone for the rest of the day! I do a 15-30min yoga workout about 3-4 times a week in the afternoon, & my bedtime routine, in bed a lot of the time. I can’t think clearly unless I keep at this, so I’m very dedicated!
About to build a nice warm cozy fire for my evening weekend practice! I love my weekend practices b/c I can have as long of a session as I want, anywhere I want! Gonna drive out to the river tomorrow for a hike & a yoga session!

This was what my body needed today! I was incredibly stiff and holding on to anxiety. Now I feel lighter all around. I loved the different variations and I added some additional stretches at certain points because my body needed it! Thank you for this video, it was like yoga and meditation in one 💖

For the first time, I felt the emocional feeling that you say during a posture. Was during pigeon pose and you was talking about a difficult moment in life and permit ourselves to feel It, not hold any emotion and I started to cry and felt letting go. Hi, guys! Juliana, this is just to say thanks for this particular yin special, which I returned to last night (and it helped immensely...and helped get me to sleep, which is the biggest plus). But I also wanted to express gratitude for really getting me on the yoga journey way back in 2016, when I'd just spent some time back home in Canada and felt energized enough to start something really new. And I'm happy to say that I'm still on that very journey and have built up a daily routine (even when I feel like my hips are made of concrete, it IS making a difference, bit by bit). During this I noticed my mind was everywhere. Thinking about what was to come in my future...things that had happened in my past..I kept telling myself to come back to my breaths. Now I see why it’s called a practice..Although I think that being forward thinking and able to reflect on the past..Once Im able to just be present sometimes it will greatly improve my quality of life. 🙏🏾
