The recent matchmaking ruined quick play. There is hardly a reason to play a game that punishes you for being good and playing it well. The matchmaking changes are ass.

I still think it's a good change if quickplay got the same changes as ranked. Then there's kind of no reason to play quick play, which means that more players will gravitate to playing ranked, making it easier to find a match on ranked the game mode that's going to make you better at the game

@@OzTheDecapitator Then that makes its so that Quick play is pointless. Why have two modes have the same kind of experience and wait time? Quick play is supposed to be Quick games, not quality matches.

I've always saw quickplay as the gamemode to warm up for ranked which this change also helps and practicing your combos for a character that you're picking up. Other than that you should be on ranked just trying to get better at the game.

@@redmecka304 I feel like quick play only exists because of the outcry against a game not having a non-ranked option. Splitting your playerbase across queue's generally hurts games and I'm sure if it didn't have such backlash the devs would prefer to only have ranked.

I used to play quick play in t7 since it was In my opinion the best way to learn since you can infinitely rematch someone and they won't leave because you might demote them but in t8 it's both ft2 so what's the point of quickplay
