You can do the same thing with a comb. Lay it straight across your head and make the zig-zags then separate your hair where you want the part to be. Perfect zig-zags every time. It’s how I used to do mine 15 years ago ❤
lol this is a late 90’s early 2000’s thing. We used to do this with anything you could find, pens, combs, etc. and make all kinds of patterns rather than the usual straight part.
In 2000-2010 we had all sorts of hair gadgets and one was for parting hair. It was a device that had a tip for drawing precise part lines and then 2 side pieces that pulled away from eachother to push the parted hair to each side. It came with zigzag stencils and wavy stencils. Fun times. Typically these products were by Conair
