I know a lot of people are against heat and don't like to use it but I think it's all in how you use heat and people's hair handles heat differently. I don't use heat weekly but I also don't limit myself it just depends on what I'm going for. Your hair turned out really good and the comb is a good idea for hitting those roots when they get thick. 💜

My hair grows in quick and thick so I’m all for hotcombing as I get into a stretch. I get a thio straight perm, but I still watch relaxed videos because y’all know what you’re talking about ❤. I’m around 8 weeks post too and I wanted my hair straight this week, so I just put on some extra heat protectant and got my roots with that hot comb 😌✨
