You got that 20 year old testosterone going but if you take care of yourself you hit your peak at 35 so I havent peaked yet. :) I just turned 33 last month but I had a stupid back injury about 2 years ago. It's almost inevitable to get some kinda injury if you work out long enough. It didn't show but Vince Taylor tore his bicep warming up with 30's.
KC Darin Arash Rahbar hasn’t even peeked yet and he’s 38, if your injury is all healed up I’m sure you can make a lot of progress in the coming years. I train 2 hours a day because it doesn’t feel right training for less than that, I’ve only had one injury and that was a minor pec tear when I was 16 but it healed up really quick. I was using a machine press and just felt my right pull right off the (I think the tendon). Now sure how severe it was but after it happened I was quite alarmed.
Yea, I benched for years but twice I felt like I almost had a pec tear so I switched to dumbells. Your right about Arash. I threw out a general number but his persion genetics will help him stay looking young longer as long as he doesn't just stop. Usually darker skinned people don't get as much sun danage. He'll probably look 40 when he's 50. Physically, he'll probably peak in the next couple of years & then try to hold on to it. Rich Gaspari said the contest where everything came together perfect for him was the 1986 Pro World. He was shredded & full. He was 23.After his pec tear in 1989 he never had that super conditioned look; even at that 1st Arnold. He was sharper at the 88 Olympia. That 86 show is when they really 1st started talking about striated glutes. There's a video on youtube about it. I found it. Link: ruclips.net/video/82I2pVylgYU/видео.html Only about a year ago he said that was his best ever. Peaked at 23 in a way.
The 90s was really Dorian Yates era. Lee Haney won in the early part of that decade (90, 91), but that was more a carryover from the 80s. Ronnie Coleman won at the tail end (98, 99). The 2000s is Coleman's era.
Kevin Levrone probably is inspired by this video of himself and continues to mature and grow mentally. I dont care about the worthless and haters and bums online. I speak and write only the truth. And the truth hurts for trolls.
I love how bodybuilders brag on hard work, but use a lot of gear. There’s work involved, but the gear’s equally on par. Most bodybuilders lose their gains after their cycle. I respect the guy less muscular without gear than the one using with a ton of muscle.
As someone who loves working out naturally, I think this happens because once you have your eating game down and the gym routine down, pushing yourself super hard, you realize that there's a limit to how much you'll grow your body. Some people who want "1 more thing to add to training routine" and get even bigger from it, it is tempting but not worth it imo. What I mean is many guys on gear are heavy into training, it's their life, so it is still heavy work.
I had quite a few friends who used gear when I was competing & they would shrink drastically when completely off. One buddy got to a hard 205 at only 5'6 & off he would be 155-160. He honestly looked his best around 180 but he won every show he entered. Another friend was 6"5 & 270 in shape. Had better legs than Ferrigno at only 21 yrs. old but not close on the upper body.Had many other friends who were life naturals & honestly the natty muscle seems to stick longer even if you quit training for a long stint. Probably because the natty guys aren't screwing around with their testosterone.
@@KCDarin If you know what your doing before you use gear you’ll find you don’t really lose much at all when you come off, providing you keep training. Also keep your doses low
Everything I hear he was a good dude. He got around 10 years with his family with his heart working only at 20% so we can be happy that he got that much time after a major heart attack. If heart disease runs in the family Pro BBing isn't the life to pursue. RIP Mike!
Glad you like it man. I'm going through a big collection of stuff I bought a few years ago and this was on one of the VHS tapes. I bought a VHS to digital convertor to preserve this stuff.
Vanda Dy in my 50's?!, not even my 20's... Just interesting to see which body parts are comparable and which ones aren't. Age and injuries play their parts.
I don't think it ever looked as round after the tear, but he was so gifted he did well anyway. A pec tear is usually a career ender as far as placings.
In the 90s people where on shitloads of gear, walked around swole lifting heavy ass wheights while funky rock music was playing 24/7 just about everywhere!
I wouldn’t say shitload of gear. Yes they were on certain drugs but didn’t over do it, like today’s bodybuilder that are walking chemical factory’s. 80s- early 90s were the best

He is acting a little douche & I'd be embarrassed for him if it wasn't Kevin & I didn't believe he had a director telling him how to act. He's probably just acting over the top; being directed to do so. I think Kevin's an artist & most feel at ease doing their art but are somewhat shy otherwise. Thx for watching!
Gotta admit; If someone was acting like that in real life it would be cringy but because it's Kevin & we know his SHABOOM, we get it. I honestly thought he did a great job on camera that early in his career.
I've got a video when he's being interviewed right after a contest in 1992 and he was real humble. He said, "You young guys out there, stay away from the wrong crowd, don't do drugs or alcohol, do your school work and work hard at whatever your dream is. I'll probably post it on here some day. It's pretty rare & not on the internet.
Bodybuilders look so different nowadays than the ones from the late 80s to early 00s. Whatever "vitamins" they used back then yielded better-looking muscles in my opinion. Were the good "supplements" discontinued? It's not the same kind of muscle quality today even if they're way bigger. That has puzzled me for a long time.

@@afranks8566 extremely impressive, that’s world-class. That’s a CG of 260, regular 280+.

Send pictures to PO Box... 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 The fucking 90s man
Ha Ha! Yea I think we are over 25 years too late on that one. I was 6 & you probably weren't born yet .
KC Darin yeah I was only born in 1998 so rip
The 90s were different. Only Ronnie could win in such a time. He was the only thing that could have stopped guys like Kevin
Muscles looks good without the veins.
Levrone was the best. He was always peeled. His quads had enormous size and shreads in them.
2:47 always cracks me up 😂
hahahaha

@@KCDarin
If you know what your doing before you use gear you’ll find you don’t really lose much at all when you come off, providing you keep training. Also keep your doses low
Dayuuum.. Now that's buff.
There’s no way I could start triceps with overhead dumbbell, my elbows would explode
He warmed up at the start with the triceps push downs
That’s how I warm up. Light too I don’t make it a challenge
I started lifting in 1999 and he was a big inspiration to my buddies and me. Even my today my triceps extensions are trash. I’ll try them this way.
2 anadrol a day, 600mgs of test per week with about 400 mgs of deca per week.. he said this was his bread and butter stack.
@Hyperborean Primarch

Lmao. Kevin regrets this one. Lol. My dude.
Naw not really this was in 1991. A lot of stuff like that in that’s era
Kevin was a Beast!
MMM KEVIN LEVRONE THE GREATEDT MODERN LEGEND OF ALL TIMES NO ONE IS NOT LIKE KEVIN ❤
Looks like discount latino Arnold
But his physique was better than him
@Mitch 😅 he's black... geezus
@Mitch I'm late but his father is white Italian and mother black American.
More mass but better?
TraRob-EastSide half Italian bro.
Some great shots from Mike Matarazzo at the end!
Everything I hear he was a good dude. He got around 10 years with his family with his heart working only at 20% so we can be happy that he got that much time after a major heart attack. If heart disease runs in the family Pro BBing isn't the life to pursue. RIP Mike!
Best video ever!
Glad you like it man. I'm going through a big collection of stuff I bought a few years ago and this was on one of the VHS tapes. I bought a VHS to digital convertor to preserve this stuff.

Kevin was awesome in his prime.
This is so beautifully 90s lol
His chest is full and huge here. Looks a lot more flat now
Vanda Dy in my 50's?!, not even my 20's... Just interesting to see which body parts are comparable and which ones aren't. Age and injuries play their parts.
steroidsR4losers wow. You’re still alive? That really sucks.
Pre pec-tears
I don't think it ever looked as round after the tear, but he was so gifted he did well anyway. A pec tear is usually a career ender as far as placings.
He tore it in 1993 in the lead up to the Olympia
LOL. The funniest video I've ever seen of Kevin Levrone.

Kevin Levrone, Shawn Ray and Flex Wheeler should have won the Olympia
In the 90s people where on shitloads of gear, walked around swole lifting heavy ass wheights while funky rock music was playing 24/7 just about everywhere!
I wouldn’t say shitload of gear. Yes they were on certain drugs but didn’t over do it, like today’s bodybuilder that are walking chemical factory’s. 80s- early 90s were the best
No they weren't... you weren't even there
kevin levronee is my reall great mr olympia and besf physique of all time . a reall champion with won 23 pro show ofcourse out of olympia tittle winning thats so amazing
He is black, white and asian at the same time
0:30 from the front it looks like his Delt are smaller in proportion to his arms. Then from the side you know it’s still freaking huge
He's not exactly cut here but he looks great; very huge and toned and smooth.
Before everything Tren
Off season
Amazing form!
They dress so funny back in the day
His hair though 😂😂😂
Good God, give this man an Oscar
He's not gay

I knew it was Mike Matarazzo's back not Kevin at the end of the video!
Thanks for the video. Seems like he was a super douche bag at this age.
I found kevin to be amped up ans excited not like hes some kind of dbag anyone pumped up like that must feel like a God
Gotta admit; If someone was acting like that in real life it would be cringy but because it's Kevin & we know his SHABOOM, we get it. I honestly thought he did a great job on camera that early in his career.
thats just the style of the 90s, commercials were the same way
I've got a video when he's being interviewed right after a contest in 1992 and he was real humble. He said, "You young guys out there, stay away from the wrong crowd, don't do drugs or alcohol, do your school work and work hard at whatever your dream is. I'll probably post it on here some day. It's pretty rare & not on the internet.
Heavy weight hard work and a gallon of juice
totally on juice big time!
awesome vid, thanks bro....

You notice when he finishes his close grip bench, that there is only 1 plate a side instead of 3. The OG Brad Castleberry
Probably a reverse pyramid style of training.
You sound a little jealous to me bro, do you look like him?
The difference is that he could lift that easy back then since he was benching 5 plates for few reps
Why him and Shawn Ray and flex never got to get the olympia is crazy !
Because they weren’t good enough to win, simple. Ronnie was always bigger and better
Remember
Good form
Heavy weight
And Hard work
But he forgot to mention about the shots in the butt
Bodybuilders look so different nowadays than the ones from the late 80s to early 00s. Whatever "vitamins" they used back then yielded better-looking muscles in my opinion. Were the good "supplements" discontinued? It's not the same kind of muscle quality today even if they're way bigger. That has puzzled me for a long time.
No, back in those times, they didn’t use a lot of gear, and were in small doses. Compare to todays bodybuilders
i see a nippel

the nippel sees me

I remember those gay-looking spandex back in the day. I can't believe I actually wore them myself.
hey man its was the early 90s.
